SCAM!!!!! Took a quiz paid £1 donation and ive seen on my PayPal account that they have taken a further £24.99 without my authorization

Scam!! Report your crappy experience!
Scam. They take money from you claiming you signed up for their services (but yet do not have access to their subscriptions). Everything is done outside of the Google Play Store so there is no recourse. I can't get my money back from Paypal either. No email confirmation of subscribing, which I never did. Email correspondence with this company is a joke as they only give ypu the run around. I'm happy to spend time to ensure this app is pulled feom the market.
Scam! Fraud! Stay Away From This Company!
This company is a scam and will not help you when attempting to get the money they stole from you without your consent back. A fraud and a scam! Stay away. Don't know how they sleep at night claiming to offer mental health help while blatantly stealing from vulnerable people. Shame on you! Don't download their apps or input your information anywhere! They'll use it to charge you and then claim you signed up for a subscription.
Upon doing more research
Upon doing more research, I learned that the test I took on this app was not actually the ACEs test. This is the test I thought I was taking, and the link I clicked on clearly read "ACEs test". I also got bamboozled into spending money, as I didn't read the fine print well enough, perhaps, and there were many confusing click-throughs. I should have know better, but I also feel like apps like these take advantage of vulnerable people.
Total scam
Total scam. I have proof that I cancelled after the 3 month trial. Confirmation emails that I wouldn't be charged again and exactly 1 year after the cancellation I was "re-signed" up by them. And customer service was a joke saying I clicked something or opened an email. Don't do anything with this group they are scammers and thrives. File a dispute with PayPal.
Thieves and robbers
I never signed up for this app and PayPal have just informed me that they’ve stolen £75 from my account! Wtf? I don’t have any of their apps how has this happened? Why would I pay so much for an app?
use a hook to get your credit card or…
use a hook to get your credit card or paypal details, and taking money out of your account for this useless app
This app is a scam they charged me 30…
This app is a scam they charged me 30 dollars and won't refund me either they said sorry we checked and it adds up with ur email I told them GOD dont like ugly and ur app is a scam sorry for the people who got charged for months i went to read the subscription info and it won't let me but u can cancel the subscription on the website app thing I had found it on Google and downloaded that stupid app and idk where this came from but it's frusterating when ur bearly getting buy and a huge business is stealing ut money
SCAM I don’t know where the subscription…
I don’t know where the subscription came from but paid it for a couple months and happened to notice it on my pay pal account. Never even downloaded the app. They refuse to send a refund. Total scam. Do not download or click on anything associated with this platform.
Sneaky app that takes 30 euros every month from my bank account
They have been taking 30 euros from my account for the last 6 months, and they say they will not pay it back.
I have not been informed about this through email or in their app. There's no information email with the terms stated. And no information on invoices/receipts in the app. It does not show in app store subscriptions even though its possible to download from there.
I have contacted them through email. They do not want to pay back the money.
Definitely a scam
Definitely a scam. They trick you into paying £1 but immediately start taking a £25 subscription which is impossible to cancel as there's no way to log in to the account online and no subscription cancellation option on the app. Still trying to escape
If there was any way to rate a negative…
If there was any way to rate a negative I would. Not only was the amount charged misleading, the test results that they tell you you were going to receive… You are not going to receive. In the app, you can pay to take different tests, and of course pay for many other things. What they do not tell you, is that for one - they do not have a phone number. Not for any sort of customer assistance or help. AND for #2, what you are told you are getting for your initial price is a scam. This whole app is a scam. I do not suggest it!
Who are you?
I , apparently, ‘joined’ this company after filling out an online test/quiz.
It was only after noticing regular monthly payments to a company I’d never heard of that alarm bells rang.
I immediately contacted the company and told them to stop immediately, that I had no idea who they were, nor what their product was, and I considered it fraud.
They replied with a very convoluted method of trying to find my initial connection to them. I gave them the details of the account they were stealing from, that’s all they need, and await their reply.
I’ll be contacting my bank to recover my money, just another online fraud stealing from the public.
Literally billed me for something I didnt buy. Didnt recieve the item I actally paid for
*EDIT: I got a response and they cancelled my premium subscription thing.*
I clicked on an Instagram ad to get a report on my mental health, and it had to be paid for. I don't remember confimring payment for it if Im being honest though. I definitely didnt pay for an ACCOUNT though. They randomly charged me and send an email thanking me for my purchase of "premium features". I never purchased anything apart from the report WHICH I NEVER RECIEVED. Whats more furstrating is I can't request a refund unless I have an account. WHICH I DONT! What do I even do I cant find any contact information anywhere. I tried emailing through an email I found on one of the reviews but heard no response.
I also never received this supposed report after filling out some very personal details
SCAM taking ilegitimate rolling payments. AVOID AT ALL COST.
The Breeze Wellbeing App/Website unlawfully extract payment information when you sign up for the trial using the App Store. After you cancel the trial, they keep the payment info and issue rolling monthly payments unknowingly without notifications, subscription confirmation emails and receipts.
Aug 2024 - Subscribed and cancelled the 7-day free trial via Apple App Store. Deleted the app and never used the platform.
Nov 2024 - The company maliciously start charging £24 rolling monthly payment without notification, subscription confirmation emails or receipts.
Dec 2024 - another £24 rolling monthly payment charged.
Jan 2025
- Another £24 rolling monthly payment was charged.
- approached the support. They refused to issue a full refund for Nov and Dec 2025 because of the 14-day grace period.
- the staff reasoned that I might have subscribed through the website using a different email. but there is no record of such an account, email, notification, or payment record.
fishy point one - I subscribed and cancelled the trial via the app stored. How can the company extract money from my bank account after two months when they are not authorized to do so?
fishy point 2 - even if I did subscript using a different email, if there's no notification, confirmation or receipts, how am I supposed to know to cancel?
AVOID AT ALL COST. THE APP IS NOT EVEN GOOD AND OVERLOADED WITH LOTS OF DISTRACTING FEATURES.
Beware of Basenji app
I recently clicked on a quiz in Instagram only to find out later that I'd been signed up to a subscription.
Besenjiapps ( aka Breeze ) methods are bordering on devious and clearly not transparent. They are in contradiction to consumer laws in Australia which I subsequently pointed out to them on several occasions.
As soon as I saw funds being removed from my account I cancelled the subscription and wrote to the company asking for a refund. They did refund 50% but refused a full refund. They insisted I agreed to a subscription which I did not. It's an inadvertent sign up where they get your bank details for $1 to see quiz answers. Apparently there is a pop up that tells you that you are agreeing to a subscription which I don't recall seeing otherwise I never would have proceeded.
As a company representing itself as mental health support it is disappointing how unethical their practice is.
I will be reporting them to Australian consumer protection authorities.
Update : after placing this review and others Basenji app has refunded my money in full. I had requested a refund many times and it wasn’t until I gave an honest review they complied.
Don't waste your money!!!
deleted my membership and had canceled on PayPal but got an email I need to cancel my membership. I need proof it's canceled because I'm not paying for an App I'm not using! The customer service is all nice and act happy but they won't issue refund. Worst App ever.
Fraudsters!!
How can you report this company as fraudulent and get them blocked on Google?
Masking themselves as a mental health and relationship support service, said they would not charge initially until you logged in to receive your program, but charge instantly... I found out that they are a scam after checking this site...thanks to so many for their reviews...I have now blocked my card temporarily so that they cannot charge me again .
Feeling frustrated that these companies are allowed to continue ripping people off!!!
0 stars if I could
0 stars if I could. Stay away from this scam, if you get sucked in like me. You'll need to cancel your card immediately so you're not continuously charged. You won't actually have an account and they will continue to send you in a loop.
Total Scam.
Total scam.
It looks legit, but trust me they will take what ever they possibly can. They are impossible to get a working email to contact to cancel. I tried to cancel though my bank, though PayPal (who's also useless) and none would help. Finally PayPal responded and provided me with a working email. After 2 weeks of trying to cancel my account it was canceled after they helped
themselves to $100.00 with a promise they'd return my last payment which was $29.99. She
also said she try to get the other $70.00 to me. It's been over a week, nothing has been returned. They managed to steal $100.00 bucks from me between Nov 4th and Dec 18th. They are absolutely full of bull and they will take everything they can out of your bank account and no one will help you. SCAMERS AND LIARS. I'm fairly certain the only money they get is the money they steal from you. I'm absolutely furious. How do you think my mental health is now?
Happy Holidays. Ha!
Service is an absolute scam
Service is an absolute scam. They make it I
Possible to cancel their 7-day trial, and even IF you manage to cancel, they’ve already charged your card because you should have canceled on the 6th day.
Customer service is beyond unhelpful.
