Just because it’s on TV shows it doesn’t…
The concept is good in trying to reduce fat /oil flare ups, however the flare up is what enhances the flavour both from the charcoal and burning fat/oil. This is easily achieved by having a small spray water bottle handy to control the flare ups.
Also the QA could be better as the wires that lift / lower the parilla where not locked at the same length causing the parilla to be lopsided.
I’ll still be using the overall assembly but having a standard grill made with round bars instead of the V channel SS.
