First visit and was really impressed…
First visit and was really impressed with the décor and facilities. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Food was very tasty and well presented.
The only downside was that the food was only slightly warm.

As you can see from many of our previous reviews, we receive lots of compliments on the quality and value of our food, so I can only apologise that your experience with us didn't meet up to our usual high standards. Please rest assured that I will pass your comments on to our Group Head Chef and Store Manager for them to look in to with the team and ensure food isn't sat waiting to be delivered to tables for any longer than absolutely necessary.

The shop was beautifully decorated and set out, my flat white was beautiful
However there was little to no child friendly snacks and drinks and the brownie that I had was crusty and stale
However I would return without my child for a tasty coffee

Stone Bear
Never liked the Uttoxeter one,too dark inside and limited food and times,the Stone Branch (where we live) is a converted Bank building which has huge widows and has a bright modern feel.When it first opened it was chaotic at best with poor table service,kitchen breaking down and really gave up on it having the occasional coffee outside during the pandemic.
After a heavy Sunday we went in for food at Monday lunch time and were pleasantly surprised it was packed and the service and food was very good.
We returned last week and the same again BUT you are serving food and the table opposite had 3 dogs between them constantly barking,this may be your policy as the waiter gave them dog biscuits to try and shut them up,manager needs to step up and deal with it,apart from that good job 👍

Thank you for raising the issue about some of our four-legged guests being a little noisy too. Our policy is that well-behaved dogs are welcome in our stores, however we also have a number of strict guidelines in place to ensure that our team are able to manage this sensitively. Customers with dogs are asked to sit only in certain areas of the store (away from food / drink prep areas), and dogs must remain on their lead, off the furniture at all times. We encourage all of our lovely customers to make a member of our team aware if they aren't happy with the spot in which they're seated; our team will always do their best to accommodate you on a table that is more comfortable for you! :) Please rest assured that I will pass your feedback on to our Store Manager to ensure that guidelines are always being followed to ensure all of our visitors can enjoy their coffee and brunch comfortably.

We originally decided to stop taking cash at the beginning of the pandemic in order to reduce the risk of germs spreading between our customers and teams. Due to the ongoing and unpredictable shortages of staff, paired with the laborious behind-the-scenes work that taking cash brings with it, we have decided to continue to remain cashless for the time being, mainly to relieve some pressure off our teams.
Nevertheless, we are continuously reviewing this so your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping us make informed decisions moving forward. I'll be sure to pass your comments on to the relevant people. :) Hope to see you again very soon!

Very nice coffee
I had a one shot latte and a piece of carrot cake. Both were very good, the member of staff that served me was very friendly and the atmosphere of the cafe was good.

My favourite coffee place
Amazing hosts for any occasion, fantastic food, very friendly staff. Coffee is perfect as always and the baristas are always willing to talk about it, even when it is busy. They also deal with large groups in a very efficient and friendly way.

Great food, drink & staff
Great food, drink, staff and atmosphere as always. My only niggle is please sharpen your knives or cut your toast a little thicker. It's getting more and more difficult to cut through when ordering the smashed avocado (actually impossible on my last visit).

We carefully steam the milk for our coffees to the perfect texture and to ensure that the milk is not burned, which ultimately has an effect on the taste and consistency of the final drink. Nevertheless, we completely appreciate that individuals have different preferences on how they like their coffee made, so next time you pop in, just let the barista know about the experience you've had before and they'll be happy to make your drink exactly how you like it! :)
