Genuinely one of the best courses out there. Literally compiles everything you would need to know into bite sized engaging lessons that feel rewarding and fun to do. Every little detail and decision is explained so you can understand and apply the design decisions you learn. Been keeping my skills up and pushing me further after leaving uni. Best decision you can make is getting some of these courses! Literal life saver!

Purchased the Motion Foundation course from Ben Marriot; great and worth it pack of exercises and tutorials to keep yourself busy, learning new tricks and improving your workflow. Highly recommended!

Ben has a fantastic way of teaching that makes whatever course you are taking easy to digest and learn. Everything is also organized so nicely and ordered in the way you need to learn rather than trying to find random tutorials on youtube. Would recommend his courses to anyone trying to get into after effects or animation tho ive only had experience in the ae courses.

Ben, who is both a skillful animator and a gifted teacher, offers us students meaningful instruction because he explains the Why behind the How. Bravo and thank you, Ben! I'd take a class from you every day if I could.

Ben Marriott is a great designer, animator and teacher.
I've been following his Youtube for years and now I am finally making the time to do courses on his website. I'm very happy and inspired to be on this journey with him; the courses are very in-depth and full of helpful tips, I'm enjoying the process of learning so much!

Most of my After Effects skills came from specific YT tutorials or learning by doing. There are a few tricks and tips that I probably would never have learned without this course and that have saved me hours so far (for example, the possibility to turn off the Keyframe Interpolation in the Preferences).

Ben makes the best tutorials for motion design. That is the bottom line. He explains in detail and with humour.

I had already watched hours and hours of Ben's videos on YouTube before purchasing Motion Foundation and Master Motion Design.

The free videos which taught me tons but these courses are so much more in-depth.

I found Ben at an early stage of learning motion design, through his abundance of amazing free tutorials on YouTube. When I saw that he had brought out courses it was a no brainer. His teaching style is super engaging and easy follow. His creativity is on another level and to top it off is a genuinely nice guy. If you've ever followed any of Ben's tutorials, you'll be familiar with his style of teaching in the courses. The difference is, the courses are more structured, more in depth and really dive into the reasoning behind every design and technical decision. I got the Master Motion Design course, and while I'm not a beginner, the course has changed the way I work making me not only more skilled, but also heaps more efficient. There's a tip and a trick in every lesson but Ben never overwhelms you with technicalities or jargon because of his mastery of After Effects.
One of the most important things, in my opinion, is that Ben is primarily a great artist, which means that you'll get to see how great art is made.
He's also a pleasant guy and he'll make sure you label your layers.

Choosing this course was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I took the Motion Foundation course and it was simply fantastic! At the time, I was unemployed and looking to level up my skills as a Graphic/Interactive Media Designer. Just a couple of months later, I landed a job thanks to this course, the company was specifically looking for a graphic designer with motion design skills.

The projects are super fun, Ben is both hilarious and incredibly clear in his tutorials, and the whole experience feels very engaging. I also got to connect with other creatives, and sharing our work for constructive feedback has been really valuable.

A great motion foundation course! Broken down really well, easy to understand and build on. I love the community aspect too, so I can see how other people are doing and receive feedback. It's been really helpful in gaining confidence working on motion graphics for specific projects.
