Dreadful Service - I want my Money Back

Judging by the other reviews I must just be unlucky I guess. I am still waiting for my order from 2 weeks ago and they will not respond to my queries. Dreadful customer service. I can't cancel, want my money back and they won't respond!

I am extremely dissatisfied with…

I am extremely dissatisfied with Bergfreunde’s procedures and overall handling of my order.
I placed my order at the very beginning of January 05th. Initially, I was informed that delivery would take place by latest January 15th. Then I received another email saying it was delayed until January 20th. I stayed at home the entire day on the 20th, but no package arrived — not that day, nor in the days that followed.
I contacted DHL, the delivery company, and was told to wait a few more days. I also informed Bergfreunde, and they advised the same. About a week ago, DHL contacted me again to say that my package had been lost. They even asked me what the contents were, explaining that they were starting an internal investigation and reviewing their cameras — which, frankly, should not be my concern. I am Bergfreunde’s customer, not DHL’s.
I immediately informed Bergfreunde of this development. Their response was that they are sorry, but in order to receive a refund I must wait until DHL completes their investigation, in case the package is somehow found.
Today is January 30th. I still have no package, no refund, and no concrete update.
This was my first order with Bergfreunde, and I was genuinely hoping to become a loyal customer — especially since my husband has been ordering from them for years and has placed many orders. Unfortunately, this experience has been deeply disappointing and has completely undermined my trust in their customer service and processes.
At this point, the lack of ownership and the endless waiting are unacceptable.

Avoid! Tracking and refunds are a mess

I am still waiting for my money from November 2025 order #42940581. I never received the package, but for two months the company just says they are 'checking.' Their system is a mess! They don't even know if the order was delivered. I never gave DHL Portugal delivery confirmation code to anyone, which proves I never received it, I already moved abroad, but they still have not fix this. Very poor service and way too slow. Completely unsatisfied!

As soon as you informed us that your parcel had not been delivered, our customer service team looked into the case and took the necessary steps. At that time, we experienced a high volume of email inquiries, which led to delays and we regret that you were affected by this. We’re very sorry about that.

The case has since been fully resolved and the refund for the undelivered parcel was issued on January 26, 2026. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Human powered support was a low point

This is my 3rd order, and overall I have them in high regard. Everything always arrives as ordered and intact. This last order I made a mistake with my address, and I was not supported through this as I would have expected, passed around automated responses and representatives who would reply with template messages not addressing my issue.
