Really good service delivered when we wanted and quality was first rate, lovely crab and lobster

Did not ship for Xmas Eve when they said they would, has ignored contact, and not issued a refund.

Each Christmas, we treat ourselves to a fish platter, and it never fails to impress! The portions and freshness consistently exceed expectations.

Excellent service and the food was superb

Delivered on time. Beautifully packed in an insulated polystyrene box with several frozen chill packs so the crab, lobster, smoked salmon and prawns arrived in perfect chilled condition and fish cakes were frozen. Excellent quality seafood and generous portions. Thank you!

All delivered in suitable packaging. Ice packs still well frozen. Only one product- the scallops were not frozen, as stated. And the lobster shells were frozen. Otherwise, the lobster and crab were delicious for our Christmas lunch.

I've bought seafood by post from Berwick several times. Always fresh and top quality, delivered by reliable couriers. As well as superb fresh seafood, the smoked salmon is outstanding.

Fantastic seafood platters, I’m so lucky it’s only 15 miles from us so we can collect so the platter is all dressed, just to put on the table for my family. Though one was delivered to my son 200 miles and everything arrived very fresh, they just had to arrange onto serving plates. Lovely gift!

As others have noted there is absolutely no customer service with this company. Once they have your money they are just not interested. It is notable that they don't bother to respond to negative reviews on here.
I was expecting a delivery on 19th December, having ordered my Christmas seafood back in November.
I received an email early morning on 18th December saying it had been despatched and then a further email from APC Overnight confirming delivery on Friday 19th
As Friday went on and with no sign of my package, I tried multiple times to call Berwick. Each time it rang out and cut the call. I think they had all packed up and gone to enjoy their Christmas while I was starting to stress about mine.
I managed to speak to someone at APC who confirmed the package was still at their depot. On hearing it was shellfish he agreed to put it on the next day's van!
It was indeed delivered though I was out and by the time I retrieved it from the front doorstep it had sat there for around 4 hours in sunshine.
My package contained dressed crabs, crayfish and some king prawns that should have been frozen but were defrosted. I have no idea when my food was packed - it could have been late Wednesday or the early hours of Thursday. Even being charitable and assuming it was early hours on Thursday, by the time I opened it on Saturday afternoon the food had been in transit for somewhere around 60 hours.
The surface temperature on the food packs varied between 6-7.5⁰c, so higher than my fridge.
Though I hate wasting food I don't feel inclined to risk food poisoning for my family or my guests over Christmas.
I have no doubt I shall have to argue to get my money refunded in the new year even though I have emailed them.
Sadly this is the second time they have let me down. I thought the first time was a glitch but maybe not. The worst part is that they just don't care which is a real shame as their seafood generally is very good.

The shipment arrived in good time..it was an anniversary present for my husband , we celebrated our 55th year of marriage on 19th December

Won't let me give no stars, my order of cooked crab and kippers arrived on Wednesday afternoon there was a strong horrible smell coming from the box, opened box to find it swimming in dirty water the crabs were covered in sand and were not cooked. Put the whole thing in bin what a waste of £53 which was a early Xmas present for my husband. I emailed the company on Wednesday evening, now Friday lunchtime and still no reply also phoned today and can't get through to speak to anyone.

The quality of the product and service of the company has been second to none delivering on its promises in the service thank you all a very happy Christmas and a happy New Year too all

Happy with the service but not with the delivery service, there was no communication received from the courier and they gave just left the parcel outside the house with no message. It was just left out for hours
