Packet of Whitebait was almost defrosted, bag was wet outside. Prepared Lobster dish, Lobster tail end was hard and chewy. Email for advice about whitebait not answered

Have been a long standing customer, but will never use these guys again!
Made and paid for a order on the 19th march for delivery, the following week. Delivery never turned up and when I checked their website, it just says order is unfulfilled ,have called them 3 times each time speaking with someone and them promising, someone will be back in touch to resolve the issue, I have also emailed them but its now the 10th april over 3 weeks since my order and i've still had zero contact from them... I've just spent the last 40 minutes trying to call them. But no one has answered.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!
And use someone else!

First class whelks and crab claws

Ordered two large cooked lobsters and couple other seafood from here to be delivered in Norfolk. They arrived fresh and tasted very good!!! I think they even upgraded one of the lobsters from a large lobster into a jumbo lobster!!! Cause that second one was huge! Thank you so much Berwick Shellfish! This is now my go-to seafood website!

I have sent a note to suggest how bad it was, but shant be buying again

The crab was delicious but the lobster and king prawns were disappointing. We have bought both from you before and they were lovely. This time however both were overcooked and did not give the good eating experience that we are used to enjoying from your usually excellent produce

Fairly easy to order online instead of on the phone.
Ordered dressed lobster for my wife’s birthday (her favourite which she hasn’t had for a couple of years) Although I had email confirmation, I didn’t hear from them until the morning of the delivery (awkward birthday was on Easter Sunday with bank holiday on the Friday) Alot pf companies bombard you with emails every 5 minutes, but they didn’t (which was good, BUT I was getting worried that it wouldn’t arrive when promised! I was getting worried that I hadn’t heard, I was going to call them but suddenly I got emails and the lobster arrived at 7:30ish!
Very well packed and in great condition. Apparently, the lobster was great, so despite having had a dodgy experience a couple of years ago, I risked ordering from them….however, I was very pleased and glad I did! Gave 4 stars because of the lack of communication after placing the order!

I have always recieved excellent service nd the tastest of fish

I ordered some Cooked Squat lobsters which on their website shows they have been deshelled but when they arrived, they were still in their shells. There is nothing in their website that says they are shelled in the description of the product. I have been a long time customer and have in the past liked their products but I am very unhappy about the severe lack of customer service. I have sent them many emails and called them several times and left messages but I never heard back from them. Sadly, I had to contact my bank to get a charge back. This has been such a disappointing experience that I will never use them again. Better customer service could have avoided this.

Always order my seafood from here. Delivered on time and the crab claws I had last were amazing. So very fresh. Would recommend 👌

The 'Giant Whole Tiger Prawns' were excellent and well deserving of 5 stars.

The 'Cooked Squat Lobsters' were exactly the opposite. I buy and cook squat lobster tails regularly when up on holiday in Wester Ross. They are delicious. The photo of these on the website was totally misleading. It showed cooked and peeled tails (as is shown in the web-site photo of lobster meat). In reality the whole, shell on Squats were delivered. Not only were these small creatures fiddly to peel/shell but of course only small amounts of meat resulted. Accordingly I have rated those 1 star.

You say you will send details of delivery but didn’t - nor did you answer emails. We were fortunately in when package arrived. Product well packed and excellent.
