Dreadful!!! Staff at the centre have no idea what they are doing. Even if a trainer cancels with notice they can't find cover, Customer Service is convoluted and slow. Also trying to cancel the subscription is designed in a way to make you pay an extra month. With so many branches they should be at the top of their game. Poor, poor, poor.
A great trampolining party for my six year old son at Gosling Sports Park. Online booking and communication ahead of the party was super efficient, and staff support during was great. Thank you!

The app is actually pretty good. But the facilities need to be cleaner. Swimming pools are dirty, both in the water and in the changing rooms, and staff don't enforce showering before entering the pool.

Staff have been friendly in my experience when visiting Better leisure centres. Even with the odd episode of miscommunication the problem has been resolved without too much difficulty.
Have not found any issues with the facilities at all.

I'm delighted with my experience of Swimming at Waddon, especially since 'Better' have taken over.
Everything is well organised. Swiimers are encouraged to remove footwear before entering the pool area which helps to keep the floor clean. The double lanes (at least in the mornings) allow for everyone to have a good session, regardless of their level of fitness. There are floats, paddles and pull buoys available on the poolside to use to enhance your workout. Showers on the poolside, as well as in private cubicles, are nice and hot. Staff are always helpful and polite.
So many positives! Oh, and the membership is very reasonable, and well worth the monthly outlay.

Having written a review a few weeks ago describing the centre as something from the third world, can I thank the manager for her feedback on remedial work being carried out on issues within the review, although I did confirm my mobile number, but wasn't called, but did get an email which probably took longer than a call to write.
Unfortunately several of these issues continue, last Monday 13/04/26 (always a Monday) we had no blue paper towels to clean machines, which were unclean from weekend and shower wasn't too clean either, add to this, being held like school children to the very second the clock hits 7.30am (embarrassing), especially those attending swimming, while others tell reception they're going to a class at 7.15am, but go to the gym, this is a regular thing and is frustrating to honest users.
Today (the reason I'm doing review) again we are kept like school children to the very second the clock hits 7.30am, then we are allowed to go to the gym, only to find none of the cardio machines are on, so back to reception to request someone to turn on machines, then wait another 5 minutes for machines to warm up. By which time you've lost 10 minutes and yes a class has been in from 7.15am. Personally it amazes me why centre users all can't gain access from 7.15am, I did ask this at reception previously, only to be told, there isn't anyone to supervise the gym, which in itself is strange, because apart from Friday there is never a trainer in the gym in case of any emergencies during the early morning.
i can never get a class people book every class and they cancel last minute. people need to be less selfish.
The main thing is my daughter really enjoys her lessons with Vincent as first she disliked having group lessons with every single time new teacher. Because of that we had to stop it. But now she has an amazing reacher who put himself so much in the process of teaching. He is very sensitive, professional and mentioned that my daughter is very skilled. She knows a lot already and likes her swimming so much. I’m happy as well. Thank you so much.
Freddie work out classes are hard working but a lot of fun , and Jacks workout classes are also hard working and lot of fun .
All the staff are very friendly and helpful , I have learned a lot from doing the fitness classes not only the staff doing the classes but the whole of the staff are amazing, and kind they are also helpful
Terrible unhygienic gyms and check your payments / bill as they bill you differently until you notice. Avoid. Far better gyms and each of the 3 years I was a member the number of gyms shrank ...not fit to operate.

Would love to have more availability on the creche hours,extended hours, weekends and available in more locations so that more parents chose to enroll.
I am so grateful to Lincoln City Council for keeping Yarborough Leisure Centre open. It may not be up to date or as snazzy as other (private) pools but it serves the community and is a lifesaver to me. Hoping ‘Better’ keeps up with the cleaning, it’s not easy when the decor is past its best but for me if the facilities are kept clean, I will never complain about the pool.
Freddie's Functional Fitness classes are great. I'll even get out of bed early for them at the weekend. Range of strength exercises, has work out a plan for me post breaking my shoulder. As he does Hyrox events he knows what you need to do to get through one.
