We lost the removal company we had booked and Better Removals stepped in at the last moment. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We Still had a couple of hiccups with the timeline and Paul dealt with these in a calm and professional manner.( just what we needed at a stressful time ) The crew arrived on time and were friendly and helpful. They then worked non stop methodically emptying house. Wrapped anything that could be damaged. Then did same at the other end. Long day for the crew but I cannot fault them or service we received in any way and thoroughly recommend them, well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I recently moved from Hertfordshire to East Sussex. Better Removals were fantastic. The team were polite, friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They were careful with my possessions and made the whole experience easier. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I recently used Better Removals for our move overseas to “Madeira”.
They were an easy company to deal with through the whole process.

From quote to putting our possessions in storage ….everything has been excellent . Admin, the team of Craig, Ben and Niall , all made our experience totally stress free. Equipment is spotlessly clean , professional packaging (our sofas looked like they were wearing puffer jackets). Attention to detail is exemplary. Really happy and highly recommend. Thank you .

From the first contact to waving goodbye at our new property, we experienced nothing but friendly, professional behaviour. Moving is so stressful, but the team just came in and got on with it, calmly and sensitively. There were no problems, but if there had been, we feel confident that they would have dealt with it efficiently.

From start to finish Better Removals were excellent to deal with; everyone was friendly in their professionalism. Mike who initially visited, Mark and Geraldine in Customer Service, every one of you in the team is just great!
The removals team were superb, they worked so hard during the packing day, then worked extremely hard during the moving day. How they keep up such physical, sustained effort is beyond me!! But they did, and with efficiency and speed. I can't fault their efforts. Thank you packing and removal team.

One small observation: too much packing paper - created a mountain of paper!! (in the interests of recycling etc, etc )

From the first time we made contact with them they were informative friendly and kept in contact until the moving day. On the moving day 5 lovely lads came in and organised us they took the stress of moving away. They were so swift and organised it really did make it so much more easier for us. All we really had to do was keep them supplied with tea and coffee. We would recommend them to a friend as we could not have asked for a better service from the word go which includes the office staff right the way through the company. Thank you

Better Removals lived up to their name from start to finish. The staff we dealt with both on the phone and in person were excellent and very professional. Ours was a two day job due to the distance involved, but there were no delays, breakages or problems of any kind at either end and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a company that will go the extra mile!

The three guys that moved us did an excellent job they were friendly,polite and also very helpful. Carpets and floors were covered in both the old and new address to protect them. I would certainly recommend this company and would use them again if the need arose.

After Mike Embley's visit I felt confident that this company would handle my 3-day move (120miles) efficiently. I had 2 other quotes which were a lower price but decided on Better Removals for peace of mind. This included Day 1 Packing everything Day 2 loading vehicle and travel Day 3 unloading at my new home. Everything was done as quoted. All of the employees on each day were friendly, helpful and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. They definitely took the stress from me! When the removal van arrived I seriously did not know how they managed to park it! It was massive! Total expertise by the driver! The three lovely removal men proceeded to work so hard to empty my house into storage units. Thank you so much for making this initially very stressful time for me turn into a breeze! Only made possible by my lovely removal men. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly. Also, to all the lovely ladies I've spoken to on the phone, thank you! You're all so sweet and helpful.

After getting 3 quotes I chose Better Removals, they weren’t the cheapest but I found the interaction whilst obtaining the quote very easy and straight forward.
They firstly moved my possessions to a storage facility and then 12 months later moved them from the storage to my new home which had been renovated.
Now my experience with both sets of removal teams was very positive. They were all friendly , professional and extra attentive with dismantling and packing various furniture. (I packed the rest of my possessions)
They managed to pack all furniture and boxes onto their vans with no issues or any damages.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is on the first removal date I was left waiting for over an hour with no updates able to be given when I contacted the office .

I would definitely recommend Better Removals to all my friends and family.
