Unfortunately, we had to cancel our contract after series of disappointing events and communication. It all started a few months ago, when machine started to fail with touchscreen buttons not working at times and BIBO showing random errors. We requested assistance and it came within 7-10 days. Then it didn't bother us (the waiting) as it was a minor issue and we still were able to get water going. Then like two months ago something bumped inside the machine making its right side inflated and for a day it wasn't giving any water. We contacted customer service and...they said technician will come in 7-8 days! It was already unacceptable, but we decided to wait, especially because somehow next day machine started to give hot water, at least, with touchscreen failures. 2-3 days before schedule we were informed that technician is out for a few days and our appointment will be rescheduled to another 7-8 days! By then BIBO started to leak and situation escalated. No solutions (video call or disconnection instructions) or compensation was offered, even we clearly expressed our disappointment! Normally, if there is a short of staff companies hire additional person temporary or give extra hours to existing employees. Also, normally long-time customers with major failure get prioritized. Nothing like this happened. When technician arrived, the verdict was that machines dead and needs replacement. And AGAIN another week to wait for someone to arrive and install a new machine. "FANTASTIC"! We complained, we asked to have a new machine in different specific color and waited again...Next visit was another disappointment as machine arrive in wrong color (!!!) and upon installment technician concluded it's not in good condition and performed some repair ON A NEW BIBO! And that's not the ned of the story. Few hours later, the machine started to leak A LOT! And guess what? Again we were said to wait for technician about 7-9 days! Ridiculous! As leaking was increasing and causing wet kitchen panels and hob, and other appliances, I called customer services and demanded a solution. However, no emergency technician was arranged, no priority to our situation given and on top of that I was told that if I won't agree with appointment given in 4 (!!!) days, they will reschedule us to another week as they have no openings! HOW RUDE! That was the last drop! Seriously! What a way to treat long-term customer with major issue causing damage and growth of water bills as constant leaking coming from the BIBO!
Still, I am giving another star to technicians of the company: great guys with nice manners and warm attitude (and I wrote previously review to praise Lewis). And another star as courtesy to the first 1,5 years of product usage: we were lucky it was working well.
If you care about how you are treated and a product quality (apparently got worse), look for other options.

The installer (Tasha) was great - very professional and sorted it all really efficiently.
The BIBO unit itself is grand - nice and reliable and now with a proper display and touch screen - a good upgrade from the original Classic BIBO.

We have had the Bibo for over year now and we love it. We had a fault with the UV light on the unit. Customer services quickly arranged for an engineer to visit. Sam the engineer turned up as agreed. He was very polite, knew exactly what the issue was and resolved the problem within 15mins. Very pleased. Happy Bibo Customer

Awesome!! I ordered the new Bibo Nova on Monday and it arrived on Thursday! How good is that! I live in the Scottish Highlands about 500 miles away so that is impressive service!! This is our third Bibo over the years and I couldn’t be happier with this new version - a vast improvement on the last Bibo Classic we had. It was so easy to set up and is extremely user friendly. Its appearance is super modern in our kitchen and I just love the style! The Customer Service experience was excellent so thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.
I paid over £900 for a water filtration system with installation scheduled for early December. After taking payment, I was told the product was suddenly out of stock and would need to be reordered – which is concerning for a company that claims to manufacture and specialise exclusively in these products.
I was then informed it could take months to deliver. Strangely, the unit arrived just before January, but without any instructions and without installation. Since then, installation appointments have been repeatedly scheduled and cancelled, often without any notice. On more than one occasion, I only discovered the appointment had been cancelled because I chased them myself.
The latest excuse was that the engineer was unavailable due to injury, pushing installation back by another two weeks. While things happen, the lack of communication is unacceptable. I have taken unpaid time off work for appointments that never happened, resulting in financial loss on my side.
Despite their website claiming transparency and reliability, my experience has been the opposite. I now have an expensive machine sitting unused, no clear installation date, and very little confidence that it will ever be installed.
Had I known this in advance, I would not have ordered and would have stayed with my previous provider, who installed promptly and without any issues.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I’m based in Ireland but I’m finding hard to find BIBO classic filter replacement and cleaning solution since they don’t have it stock in Ireland. So after doing a lot of research I purchased a BIBO water machine. This is my second one, the first one didn't even last 48 hours. This machine is so unreliable I now don't even bother putting the screws back on the side cover. The reason why.. So the thermostat keeps popping out and stops the machine from heating the water. No error messages, just will not heat. First time around customer services got me to unscrew the side panel and reset the switch. I have had to do this so many times now I don't even bother putting the screws back in. Tried phoning customer services again - no answer. The machine looks good but would I buy it again, absolutely no way. I paid top money because I wanted quality but it's no better than something you might have purchased from Temu. Also forget the clock, a sun dial would keep better time. I've written this while waiting for it to reheat so I can have a cup of tea. Shame I can't attract photos, the machine looks quality with the side panel permanently off (I'm joking there).

He was so courteous and professional from the outset and took such care in working out a few problems with our water machine, which he went on to fix. What an asset to BIBO he is! Ordered the Nova 23/09 and received it 02/10. Installed and straight away it didn’t dispense any hot or cold water (yes I followed the getting started instructions). You’d select hot or cold and you couldn’t even hear it attempt anything. I called bibo customer service and spoke to a (friendly) customer service rep who said an engineer visit would be required. She said she would hand it over to another team to schedule and they’ll be in touch. It’s been over 24 hours now and still nothing. In this time I have tried to unseat/reseat the filter and the machine has sprung to life with water now dispensing but the filter will not come out and so I suspect I will still need an engineer as how will I change the filter when it’s time? It’s like it wedged and this clearly effected the (none) dispense of water at first (and it didn’t pickup that the filter was not seated properly, it thought it was!)
As for the Nova itself. Love the idea of it, touch screen, presets measured in ml etc. It’s also cold/hot enough so far and tastes great. However, having had the classic for a few years prior, the Nova is considerably louder (fan) when cooling and the touch screen is not as responsive as you’d like so you will at times find yourself tapping the screen twice/three times to stop dispensing water which is annoying especially with boiling water. This is countered by the fact that the presets are suitable 99% of the time so no need to stop the dispensing yourself anyway. If it wasn’t for these two nuances then it would be a perfect all round water machine!
Ps what would have been the icing on the cake is if it was WiFi capable so taking over the air updates, water usage tracking, maintenance reminders/information, parental controls and other bits of config (presets etc) all within an app!
I ordered my Bibo Nova on the 14th August and have been waiting ever since for delivery. There’s been no effort from the company to reach out to update me regarding the situation. Sometimes it’s not even about how long it takes for an item to get delivered but rather it speaks volumes on how the company will handle after sales support. For that reason, I have no choice but to leave this review to make everyone else aware of this company.
My experience with BIBO has been largely negative, but this is not the fault of their engineer Tasha.
I ordered their new machine on 4th July with shipping estimated for August, but then they said shipping had been delayed so I cancelled that order.
I then decided to rent their original machine but the first machine was incapable of dispensing water as cold as its advertised 4 degrees celsius.
Their engineer visited and confirmed it was only dispensing water at 10-12 degrees celsius.
I've just had a replacement machine, and it's the same issue - 10-12 degrees celsius which for me isn't cold enough.
If I have to fill a jug up every night to be refridgerated then these machines are pointless for me.
I now have two machines that are useless because the first still hasn't been collected and apparently they can't come to get it until the 22nd?
So I now have two useless countertop units taking up space in my apartment

BIBO Nova took ages to arrive and now having used it for a few weeks it’s not good news. Having had a classic BIBO the new Nova is not as good. The chilled water is not as cold. A message pops up to say the filters not installed when it is. The measurements of water dispensed are no where near the correct ml. It makes more noise from the fans. You put a cup or bottle in front of the sensor and it doesn’t wake up.It doesn’t show the temperature on the main screen whilst boiling or cooling. And who knows what the rfid on the filters will do when it’s time for a filter change. Nice idea but don’t see any improvement only more complicated to use.
I ordered the BIBO Nova on 29th August and was initially pleased when they honoured a 5% discount after a miscommunication regarding a competitor's offer — credit where it’s due.
Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill.
There was no follow-up on my order, no updates about delivery, and no information available on their website about this new product. I had several questions which went completely unanswered. After over a week, I noticed the promised discount still hadn’t been applied, and there was complete silence from their side.
This lack of communication made me lose confidence in their aftercare. If it’s this difficult to get basic answers before receiving the product, I can only imagine the frustration if something were to go wrong after purchase — so I cancelled my order.
To make things worse, I had to open a PayPal dispute for the refund. Instead of simply refunding me through PayPal (which would close the dispute automatically), they asked me to cancel it — which would have left me vulnerable with no guarantee of a refund. If I had cancelled the dispute, BIBO would have been in the best position to ignore the refund altogether. The fact that they didn’t just issue the refund shows either a lack of understanding or a very poor internal process.
They may be a small team, but this was just unacceptably poor service — very slow responses, no follow-up, and a complete lack of professionalism. For a £739.99 product, I expected far better.
Honestly, I’m now questioning the legitimacy of all the glowing reviews. Based on my experience, I’d be very cautious ordering from this company.

I had a service call 30th July by Sam Engineer. He arrived within the promised time slot & quickly got to work. He speedily identified the fault & rectified it. He then cleaned the machine & got rid of some limescale that that built up on the dispensing nozzle. The machine sparkles like new.
We have been customers since 2012 & this was the first call out needed since our second machine was fitted in December 2019.
