Well what a disappointment. Free pitpat with waggel Insurance and free biscuit subscription . £10 vouchers with major supermarkets for walking my dog. I tell everyone in person and on social media. All is going swimmingly then a rush of madness to the head on July 1st. Instead of nice fulfilling treats of shopping vouchers I get competition entries and money off coffee and meals at select places. Not even crumbs in reality. I shall look for a new insurance provider come October as the rewards are now worthless to me and many others. You've screwed up a great app.

Not worth having now...I dont go out to restaurants and coffee shops and used the just eat voucher as my monthly treat. Pointless having the app. Such a shame as it was really good before. Is there any chance it will go back to vouchers for different places or is this it now? I can't see many people using it if it stays like this

like everyone else, July 1st killed the app, I have now uninstalled.

Biscuit! You really have made a dogs dinner of this app. I have read approximately 30 reviews since the changes on July 1st and all but one was 1 star!
The big incentive was the rewards - I used mine for Tesco vouchers - what do you get now . Entry to a raffle where there is only one winner of a £50 prize or 25% discount on selected cafes and restaurants. For all this you asked for a monthly subscription of £3.99!!
To me it is obvious that Biscuit could not afford the previous scheme - but it is clear that these new incentives will NOT work and like many others I have cancelled my subscription.
I used to widely and enthusiastically share this app with many others dog walkers - those days have gone!
Sadly I have to say -
BISCUIT - you really have taken the biscuit!
You will no longer accompany Little Lottie and me on our walks !

Biscuit takes the biscuit for being pointless, don't bother.
Terrible app, I gt a free pitpat being with waggle that attaches to my dog, Bob. It is linked to biscuit app but unless I carry my phone with me as well it won't record that I've done a walk. Not sure why I need a phone when I have pitpat and a Samsung watch. The offers are none existent, they are the same as you can apply for online, introductory offers for posh dog food etc where you only pay 50% off for first months order when you join. The app tracker on the phone bounces all over the place on the map, so it's not measuring the walk just as the crow flies from start to finish. Spoken to customer service many times but it still is a waste of my time. I'm on a higher subscription but you get the same offers as you would do on the non payable app version. On the pitpat app with the tracker on his collar it records bobs walks and I can see his activity per day, not on a map but how far he's ran, played and pottered about and sleep. So it seems pretty pointless to use biscuit as I get the activity and don't have to carry my phone. When I'm out and about I don't want to carry valuables so the pitpat is a better idea, if only you had a reward scheme where you actually got rewards on biscuit then I'd be more motivated to carry a phone. Biscuit app overall takes the biscuit for being pointless and more hassle than it's worth.

As everyone else is saying, this used to be a great app. You could earn points for walking your dog and eventually exchange the points for vouchers from supermarkets to clothing stores. Now they have removed the vouchers it’s completely pointless tracking walks. The ‘perks’ are of no use to me and from reading the many other one star reviews are of no use to anyone. The replies from biscuit suggesting ‘the perks won’t be for everyone’ should be changed to ‘the perks won’t be for anyone’, if they truly listen to their customers.
If biscuit listen to the overwhelming negative feedback then I’ll start using the app again. Until then no thank you

Unfortunately after using the app for a number of years I will be uninstalling the app. Removing the gift vouchers has removed any incentive to use it. It’s just not worth the hassle any longer. That being said I hope the app is successful for the app developer and I wish all best for the future.

Absolutely garbage now. Owners have ruined this business. No benefit to me I already have taste card so I can get discount food and coffee.

What once was a great app, has now turned into a complete waste of time. With no notifications prior to the most recent update we have lost over 7k of points that we accumulated. We have used the app for several years and loved how it promoted the fitness of the dog, now it seems the app has been sold out for paid subscriptions

This used to be a great app, tracked walks, dog focused, capable of tracking other health and dog info.
Recent changes have caused nothing but trouble- app freezes and you can’t track your walks rendering it useless.
Add to that historically you could earn great rewards, clearly set out and easy to access, the changes provide much less attractive rewards at a greater cost and the opportunity to enter competitions to win rewards you used to be able to redeem your points for.
Would NOT recommend, slow, glitchy, poor rewards a lot of effort with little to no reward.

Well what can you say. Biscuits used to be a brilliant App. Simple to use and with great rewards. I recommended it to so many people who we meet regularly for dog walks. Now with this update it’s not worth anything to anyone and will save myself the subscription and cancel and delete the App. Reading some of these comments just about everyone thinks the same. Whoever came up with this, well don’t think it will end well totally destroyed a great product.

Take no notice of the 66 percent 5 stars, they were all before the 1 July update or should that be downgrade. Awful to navigate, have no idea how many points/care score I have. As for the rewards no incentive to use the app. A text book example of how to destroy something.

Totally ruined this app. Points are now useless. What happened to vouchers for shops people actually used. Now competitions and coffee shops. Very disappointing.

Terrible communication on the new way to earn rewards, I received an email 29 June telling me of changes coming into affect 1 July. Forced to update the app to use it from 1 July and the rewards are entries to competitions to win vouchers. Can’t see a way to see who has actually won these competitions. biscuit was a fab app a real incentive to walk your dog and earn prizes but I like so many others will not be continuing with it. And I certainly wouldn’t pay for it, I was lucky that my pets insurance was through waggel meaning my subscription was free

Unfortunately, as a long term user this app is no longer worth the effort of pressing the screen on my phone. First they make it a subscription (which incidentally we had waggle insurance so got it for free). But even with a “free” subscription, it’s not worth the effort now that meaningful vouchers have been removed. I wish all the employees the very best in their new ventures.

I used to love this app. Getting rewarded to walk your dog, give flea and worming tablets and maintaining there weight. I've been using the app since the start but won't be rushing to use it now. The shopping vouchers once offered were worth it, the discounted coffee and meals out are of no interest to me and I'm not fussed about competition entries. Monthly subscription now cancelled as that doesn't give me any additional benefit or reward. Such a shame as it used to be a great app.

What a turn around so much harder what happened to the shop vouchers everyone looked forward to getting them now we got useless coffee n restaurants not even worth doing this anymore I will still walk my dog but without using this app all the biscuits I collected n there not good for anything useful

I have been a member since 2024 and have really loved using the app. I was highly committed to hitting my targets every day with my dog, and I always appreciated how clear and concise the app was. Earning "biscuit points" for real rewards was a fantastic motivator for us.
However, I am really disappointed with the recent updates. It feels like it has become significantly harder—if not impossible—to actually earn vouchers now. The only available rewards are discounts for eateries and coffee shops that are over 40 miles away from me, which just isn't practical. I also don't really want to spend my points entering competitions that I likely won't win.
Furthermore, I seem to be experiencing a bug or restriction with the route map. Despite completing every dog health score and consistently hitting my dog's daily targets, the app will not let me progress past Level 1.
I really loved what this app used to be, but the new setup makes it hard to stay motivated. Also paying a subscription, i felt less benefits ate earned in return. I hope you will consider bringing back more accessible, localized rewards and look into bringing back the reward vouchers again.
Otherwise its a goodbye for me.

Awful communication about the radical change and then forced to do an app upgrade because the old one didn’t work anymore. I feel like I got short-changed on outstanding biscuits - the total disappeared and they did some ‘wizardry’ to calculate a voucher value and completely removed the chance to earn any more, to build your balance up for a voucher before he changes came into effect.
With price of living challenges, do you really think we can afford to eat out much to get the ‘benefit’ of 20% off! AND the places nearby are not appealing.
I, like others. am voting with my feet.
Bye bye biscuits!
