Bitunix is freezing user funds without any evidence! They accused me of having multiple accounts, but when I asked for proof, they literally replied: "we are unable to provide any proof, this is confidential data". They are holding my 516 USDT hostage and demanding that I "agree" to let them steal my money, or they will keep my account frozen forever. Absolute scam tactics! Stay away from this platform!

Stay away from Bitunix. A massive disappointment in my opinion

I became aware of Bitunix because several YouTubers promoted this exchange with large bonus offers. These supposedly attractive bonuses were the main reason I registered there in the first place.

At first, everything looked normal. The registration worked and the bonuses were credited to my account. But after only around two to three days, my account was suddenly restricted or frozen due to an alleged security issue.

Since then, I have not been able to trade, withdraw anything, or access my deposited funds or the bonuses. For me, this is completely unacceptable. Users are attracted with big bonus promises, and shortly afterwards the account is frozen. In my opinion, this is extremely questionable.

I already completed KYC Level 1 through the app. Despite that, Bitunix is now asking me to send an additional video of myself holding my ID document and personal information by email.

Honestly, this is an absolute no-go. I will definitely not send a video of myself holding my ID and personal data by normal email to any exchange. In my view, this is unsafe, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. Sensitive identity data should only be handled through secure, integrated KYC providers. That is exactly what professional verification processes are for.

The way Bitunix is handling this situation feels anything but serious to me. First, they advertise large bonuses, then the account gets frozen, and in the end, users are expected to send highly sensitive identity data by email just to maybe regain access to their own money.

I am extremely disappointed and angry. To me, this does not feel like a professional service at all. It feels like a nightmare for any user who deposits money there.

As long as my account remains frozen and I have no access to my funds, I can only say this clearly:

UPDATE 07.05.2026 - Today I was contacted by a member of the Retention Team, and guess what? They gave me the same ultimatum: either I "agree" to let them seize all my money, or my account stays locked forever. In both cases, they keep my money.

Fine. For the next 3 days, I will be compiling a complete evidence base to prove my absolute innocence and their illegal withholding of my funds. I will publish everything on my Twitter (X) @labitfus. Do not use Bitunix ever in your life if you value your money. This is not risk control; this is an organized seizure of user assets.

UPDATE 06.05.2026 - I have offered them multiple ways to resolve this issue fairly, but they have refused every single one.

I am now moving forward with full public disclosure of this case. Do not use this exchange—protect yourselves and your money. Stay away from Bitunix!

UPDATE 05.05.2026 - Support contacted me. They refuse to return my deposit. They said if I don't agree to give them ALL my money, they will keep my account blocked forever. This is blackmail and professional theft. Avoid Bitunix at all costs!

I am extremely disappointed with Bitunix. My funds were blocked just 2 days after registration. I passed KYC, made a deposit, and started trading. In less than a day, my account was flagged for "high risk."

I followed all their instructions: passed KYC Level 2 and submitted an appeal. They told me to wait for 30 days. After 30 days, I contacted support, and they kept moving the goalposts—first an additional 20 days, then another 60 days.

Finally, after making me wait for months, they sent me an email claiming my account is "associated with other accounts." THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE. I am an independent retail trader. I have no connection to any other users.

Based on this false accusation, they are now trying to seize my ENTIRE BALANCE, including my INITIAL DEPOSIT. They are asking me to "confirm" the deduction of my own money while simultaneously refusing to reset my 2FA so I can even access the account.

I do NOT authorize any deductions. This is not a security measure; this is a daylight robbery of a private trader's funds.

Warning to everyone: Do not use Bitunix if you value your money. They will find any excuse to freeze your account and eventually take your deposit.

My experience with Bitunix has been very disappointing. I completed all the required processes, including KYC verification and risk verification, and both were approved without any issues. However, unexpectedly, I was informed that my funds have been locked for 7 days simply because “that’s how their system works.”

I do not agree with this practice. I believe that once a user has fulfilled all security and verification requirements, they should not face arbitrary restrictions on their own money. This kind of measure creates distrust and leads to a poor user experience.

I hope Bitunix reviews these policies, as they directly impact the trust of those who use their platform.

Bitunix confiscates funds from users with full KYC Level 2 verification without providing any evidence of wrongdoing.

After trading on the platform for months, passing all identity verification levels (KYC Level 1, KYC Level 2, and video verification), and even experiencing real losses in the market, the Risk Management team accused my account of being "linked" to other accounts. Based on this vague link, they decided to deduct all my profits and losses from my funds.

Since I refuse to accept this unjustified deduction, they simply won't unlock my account, claiming the decision is "final." They are withholding my legitimate funds unless I allow them to steal my balance.

Warning to all traders: Do not use this platform. Your money is not safe, even if you have full verification.

Hello I was inappropriately locked out of my account in March of 2026 for “automated account risk control” (made more money than they were comfortable with me making, actually 300$) The retention team tried to suppress me when I would reach out with auto-generated replies and failed to provide me support for weeks.
I would like to say for anyone who has been having a very difficult time with the retention team, **PLEASE reach out to the SEC and FinCEN and file formal complaints with evidence! Once you submitted your formal complaint reach back to the retention team. I am confident your issue will be resolved in no time and your funds will be returned!!**
I would like to clarify you should only let the team know AFTER you have completed the formal complaints with adequate evidence. This obligates the team to return your funds or be indicted by the SEC.

As you could understand, I had bad expirience with Bitunix . They said I have to make basic and advanced KYC and a video verification, then waiting well over 30 days to receive my funds back (But my profit has benn deducted, the reason for it was Multi-Account Violation, customer support responded the next text: Our system has identified that you are operating multiple linked accounts to repeatedly claim campaign rewards; I HAD THE ONLY ONE ACCOUNT).

The Bitunix trustpilot review team appear to be deleting negative reviews at an attempt to suppress the people they’ve wronged or inflate their abysmal Trustpilot Rating.
After this story, I requested a deletion of my account, I will never return to Bitunix.
I would NEVER recommend this service to any individual, Bitunix is easily one of the worst CEX’s to exist.

My experience with Bitunix has been extremely negative. After trading on my account, I suddenly received restrictions. Then they requested a standard verification process, which I agreed to. After that, they asked me to provide additional video verification for both KYC1 and KYC2. I complied.

I then waited for one month for verification. After 30 days, I was told that they had lost my video, and I had to wait another month. In total, I waited 60 days just to be told that they want to deduct almost my entire account balance.

The amount is quite significant for me, so I asked for a clear explanation of the reason behind this decision — why my account was restricted and on what grounds they want to withdraw my funds. What did I receive in response? A form of pressure: either I cooperate with them, or my account will be permanently banned.

I contacted not only support but also the team via email, and received exactly the same response. This is completely unacceptable — blocking an account without providing any explanation and forcing such conditions.

I was even willing to compromise and asked them to at least leave me a part of my balance, considering that this is a large amount for me. However, I received a complete refusal.

This situation is extremely frustrating and unfair.

I would give it a zero but I can't. I traded on the platform for a month or so, and then I tried creating a bot. I let the bot run and in 24 hours I made over 400. I was wow not that's what I'm talking about. NO, I closed the bot took a screenshot right before. My balance went straight to "ZERO" once I closed the bot. I knew something like that would happen. Screenshot, I contacted support the said they looked into it and said in 10 min I had traded 400 dollars and lost it all. No they just came up with something so they didn't have to pay me. They took my money I earned. Then I keep trying to contact support and they send me an email saying it is solved. Nothing was solved.

Be very careful — this exchange is engaging in fraudulent behavior.
They lure users in with futures bonuses, but once you try to withdraw your funds, your account can suddenly get blocked.

From what I understand, they abuse their KYC (“Know Your Customer”) system as a tool for so-called “risk control.” This is exactly what happened to me. I was told the review would take 7 days, but I ended up waiting 2 weeks — and even after a full month, the process is still not properly resolved.

They even claimed that I was “not a real person.” I recorded videos of my account, showed a deposit transaction from another exchange, verified my identity with my face and documents — and it still wasn’t enough. Then they demanded another video where I had to write “Bitunix,” the current date, include my initials, and ask for my account to be unlocked.

I complied with everything they asked. But in the end, I received an email saying my account would not be unlocked unless I agreed to forfeit my PnL.

They literally wasted over a week of my time just to give me an ultimatum.

I had no real choice — I was forced to accept the PnL deduction just to recover at least part of my funds.

Customer support is completely incompetent. My account was not blocked for any trading violations, but under the so-called “risk control” system, and they effectively took my profits.

I strongly do not recommend this exchange.
If you value your money, stick to reputable tier-1 platforms.

This is systematic fraud - they withhold user funds and use endless delay tactics hoping customers give up.

I have saved all correspondence and transaction proof.

I have filed a formal fraud report with Zendesk (their support platform) - Ticket #14599921.

This is systematic fraud. AVOID BITUNIX AT ALL COSTS!

After trading on this exchange I closed my position with a loss. Immediately after that my account was suddenly placed under “risk control” with no proper explanation.

I waited for more than a month hoping the issue would be resolved. Instead, the exchange is now trying to charge me an additional amount equal to my trading loss. In other words, they are trying to take the same amount of money twice and profit from a loss that already happened.

I never made any profit on this platform — I only lost money. Now they are attempting to take even more funds from me under the excuse of “risk control”. This looks extremely suspicious and feels like a direct attempt to take users’ money.

Blocking accounts after trading and then demanding extra payments is completely unacceptable. I strongly warn other users to be very careful with this exchange.

I like Bitunix. There are so many asset available, including US stock right now. I like the app & easy to use. Easy to deposit and withdrawal. I have a terrific experience using Bitunix. I love it 💗

My experience with Futures using margin. Its ok, simple to use , just user a slider to set your positions. But the downside is I have only ever lost money never profit.
Could call it my lack of skill but theres something sus with it . Almost every time you can never get past the break even line or it just sits on your zero line till it dumps you. It has to be more than coincidence
I found it ok to play around with win a bit lose more with small amounts, just for the thrill of a gamble.
It blows me away when you see their promotions where the entry level is like $100000 US, or trade $100000 to enter a trading contest .

I have a fully verified Bitunix account (Advanced KYC), but my account has been under restriction for more than 30 days with no clear reason or solution.

Support originally told me to wait 30 days for the restriction to be lifted. After the 30 days passed, nothing changed. When I contacted support again with my UID, the agent claimed there was “no case” in their system and kept asking for a ticket number or screenshot from an old submission – something I clearly explained I no longer have.

Instead of checking the restriction directly on my account and explaining why my funds are limited, support only sends generic copy‑paste replies and pushes the responsibility back to the user. I was not offered any real investigation, escalation, or alternative way to verify my identity again.

Right now it feels like Bitunix can restrict an account indefinitely, keep your funds locked, and then pretend there is “no record” of your request. This is not acceptable for a platform that holds customer money.

I do not recommend Bitunix to anyone who cares about transparency, proper risk control, and real customer support.

Very concerning experience with Bitunix.

I was asked to complete KYC2 verification and submitted all requested documents. After that, my account was placed under review with a stated waiting period of up to 30 days.

Now it has been almost 30 days, and there is still no resolution. The only responses I receive from support are generic messages saying my case is “on hold” and under review, without any clear explanation or timeline.

My funds are currently locked, and I cannot withdraw them.

A reliable exchange should provide clear communication, specific reasons for restrictions, and a defined timeframe for resolving such issues. In this case, none of that is happening.

This situation raises serious concerns about transparency and reliability.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious when using this platform.

UPD: After a month of contacting support, I finally managed to withdraw my funds. I deleted my account and do not recommend this exchange to anyone.

They keep my money and asked me a lot of proofs to give me it back, i sent everything and chat with them for months and they never returned my money$1000 back, be careful because they are scammers!!!

This saga continues. I had a trade liquidated during the October 10th crash, but hear me out. Before the actual de-leveraging event (approx 30 mins), i was trying to cancel a trade I had open, but kept being met by error messages and platform failures. I thought this was weird, so took screenshots and screen recordings so that I could start a convo with the help center chat, but unfortunately even that page was unresponsive. Unable to access trades, unable to contact the help center, unable to view my wallet, whole platform down, and I have the screenshots and screen recordings of it. I then had to watch on trading view as everything nuked. The next day i raised a dispute with bitunix and was told i would hear a response by email within a few days. Nothing back. I reached out another 6 or 7 times, same process - "can you send evidence again?" "We will flag this as urgent" "you will receive a response by email". The email never came.
The other week I raised it once more, because I thought enough time had passed that any investigation must have been completed. They had no record of my contacting, nor of my evidence nor even of my request. I sent it alllll over again, and received an email response finally! Saying we can see no evidence that you tried to access our platform.
My screenshots and screen recording literally show the time stamps and error messages. You can see in my screen recording me trying to navigate the platform and it constantly failing to load and presenting error messages.
It feels like because they are based off-shore in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, they feel no need to be compliant with any kind of user standards, and it means legal recourse is limited. But just be aware it doesn't matter if you provide evidence or not, this platform will provide no compensation, unless you have a large enough CT following to drag them. Most of the time they won't even log your claim, and if they definitely don't review the evidence before dismissing. I understand crypto is risky, it is what it is, but it does leave a sour taste when you supply the proof that the failure was on the platforms end and they just dismiss it seemingly without even looking at the evidence.

Had a further response from Bitunix offering a USDT futures bonus with a 100% deduction rate, valid for 30 days. Again, let me add, this was a PLATFORM MALFUNCTION and this is what they offer after having ignored my claim for 5 months and then rejecting it... This is a claim with receipts...

They unfairly blocked my account after I deposited only 502 USDT, opened and closed 3-4 trades, and did anything more than that.
They want me to do KYC 1-2, and make me record myself with a paper and my id aswell. I completed KYC 1 and KYC 2 and i sent the video to their support team via email.
They gave me unreasonable 30-day waiting period and telling me to wait. I have recorded all pages in videos and screenshots.
