Love this exchange

Hello I was inappropriately locked out of my account in October of 2025 for “automated account risk trigger” (made more money than they were comfortable with me making) The retention team tried to suppress me when I would reach out with auto-generated replies and failed to provide me support for weeks.
I would like to say for anyone who has been having a very difficult time with the retention team, **PLEASE reach out to the SEC and FinCEN and file formal complaints with evidence! Once you submitted your formal complaint reach back to the retention team. I am confident your issue will be resolved in no time and your funds will be returned!!**
I would like to clarify you should only let the team know AFTER you have completed the formal complaints with adequate evidence. This obligates the team to return your funds or be indicted by the SEC.

I was once in these shoes, waiting well over 30 days to receive my funds back. Within 24 hours of contacting the SEC & FinCEN my funds were unfrozen and released back to me with no further comment from the Retention Team.

The Bitunix trustpilot review team appear to be deleting negative reviews at an attempt to suppress the people they’ve wronged or inflate their abysmal Trustpilot Rating. UID: 194746197
I would NEVER recommend this service to any individual, Bitunix is easily one of the worst CEX’s to exist.

I’ve been using this platform for a while now. I come from a stocks background and wanted to get into crypto, and honestly it made the transition much easier than I expected. The layout feels familiar, especially the chart trading features, so I didn’t feel lost switching markets.

I am filing this complaint regarding a Stellar (XLM) deposit to my Bitunix account.
I transferred XLM to my official Bitunix deposit address. The transaction was successfully confirmed on the Stellar blockchain, and the funds were delivered to the correct exchange wallet address.
Unfortunately, I did not include the required MEMO in the transaction.
While I understand that MEMO is used for internal identification, the funds have clearly arrived at Bitunix’s wallet and remain under the exchange’s control.
I provided customer support with:
Transaction hash (TxID)
Proof of transfer
Deposit address details
It has now been over one month since I opened a support ticket.
During this period, I followed up multiple times via live chat. Each time, I was told that the case is “under review” and that I would be notified via email. However, I have not received any update, resolution, or meaningful progress.
The continued delay, repetitive responses, and lack of transparency demonstrate poor accountability and inadequate customer support practices regarding user funds.
I am requesting a proper review of this case and a clear, fair resolution.

Been using Bitunix for a while and the execution speed is what stood out first. Orders fill clean even during volatility, which makes a big difference

i recently opened a account , i made a $500 CAD deposit through P2P and started trading, i had some profits and some losses , after a couple of days my account was worth 1k usd ,
i was having a good streak of trades , and was on the RPL pair , when my account was frozen ,
i immediatly tried to resolve it , im level 1 and 2 KYC verified , and started to give them all documents and crazy videos requested , then i started to see all crazy reviews here ,
sooooooo ,
1) i right away filed a complained with the SEC
2) im expecting a AI bot genarated reponse here ,
3) i will keep on updating here ,

so in summary , please do yourself a favor , do not touch this crap.

okay , so credit where credit is due , i got a email from them that my account is un-blocked , i took my money and ran ,

Like many others my account got frozen because of "automated risk control trigger" without explanation.
30+ days no real support, just comforter patting my shoulder while basically telling me to wait until the second coming.
Only small amounts traded ($100-500)
No withdrawal attempts
Full KYC completed including video.

It's sad because before the freeze i was very hyped for this platform.

It offers trading on metals. I trade gold and silver tokens on the bitunix futures market. I also use bitunix earn to generate additional returns on my spot assets, and it provides a good yield on my holdings.

Here is my honest review on this exchange. I am very very disappointed with this exchange. During this bear market, i found it to be very manipulative. I tried an experiment in which i used two other exchanges while trading on this platform at the same time. I found that the price action oddly enough responded more negatively during leveraging trades when i traded on this exchange versus the others. As you may or may not have also read based on the others reviews and i too now can attest, this exchange has a weird algorithm to freeze your account whenever you are about to make a large enough profit, what i find sad is that you can go from $4,000 down to $400 and your account won’t get frozen, but if you go from $400 up to $4000 they freeze it and request KYC when no request to withdraw was initiated. Also they have this disclaimer that it will take 30-60 to process your submission. Exchanges like this shouldn’t be in business. If you’re going to trade on this platform, understand you are in great jeopardy of not only not getting your profit from that trade but also not getting your initial investment back. I expect their customer service bot to respond with some kind of empathetic nonsense, truth is, if they are getting too many negative reviews, they aren’t fixing the issue, just publicly apologizing.

BitUnix apparently flagged my review constituting it as false. The example that i gave during this review was based on my experience. I am giving my review because i am extremely irritated by what happened to me on their exchange. I got into a leverage trade long with an amount under $500. I did very well so much so that i saw the opportunity to take profit was more beneficial so i did. I attempted to transfer from a leverage wallet to a spot wallet and was hit with a message indicating my assets were frozen and that i had to provide a KYC for that account. This was the first time ever that one trade triggered something like this on an exchange. I have been flagged by other exchanges in the past but only while attempting to withdraw large amounts of my profits. The actions of this exchange are criminal. They never flagged me when my account went from $1500 down to less than $500 but they decided to flag me on the way up. If you don’t want customers posted reviews like this, then fix your system. You screwed me up. I was just trading on your platform.

I just signed up to the app and put 25usd in BTC in to trade futures with but for some reason I can’t place any trades( it comes up with an error saying insufficient funds) even though I have funds in my FUTURES ACCOUNT, I emailed support with all necessary details and they just said send a photo then I did. 3 days later with no response they say the ticket has been resolved, which it hasn’t. I then reopen it and same thing happens so after about 10 day I’ve gotten nowhere with there shitty support team. My ticket number is 62575 and UID 543981147. Please fix this immediately and don’t ask for additional information as I provided everything you need to fix the situation 😡

This is scam , today my first trade was loss , it immediately trigger the loss.

Repeated inquiries through live chat were met with generic template responses, ignoring direct questions about PnL, review status, and timelines.

Requests to escalate the case to a more experienced representative or the Risk Control team were ignored.

No Evidence Provided:

The platform has not presented any transaction-level evidence or clause of the User Agreement that I allegedly violated.

My requests for written confirmation that Risk Control received my ticket (Ticket ID: 63038) were refused.

Impact:

My funds are effectively inaccessible, and I am unable to verify the status of my account or PnL.

The lack of clear communication and refusal to provide factual explanations violates basic principles of transparency and fair treatment.

I have formally submitted complaints to regulatory authorities, including SEC, FinCEN, and CFTC, due to the serious nature of this matter.

Conclusion:
Bitunix’s handling of this account demonstrates a lack of accountability, transparency, and proper Risk Control procedures. Customers deserve clear explanations, evidence, and timely responses regarding account restrictions. Until these issues are resolved, I cannot recommend this platform.

The exchange is trying to remove reviews by marking them as defamation.

I’ve been using Bitunix for both spot and futures trading and my overall experience has been positive. The interface is clean, orders execute smoothly, and liquidity feels sufficient even during active market hours.

What I appreciate most is the platform stability and clear communication around listings and system updates. Deposits and withdrawals have been processed without issues, and the risk controls on futures feel well structured.

So far, Bitunix has been a reliable option for my regular trading needs, and I plan to keep using the platform.

I was liquidated before the price even touched my liquidation level, losing $500.

This platform is dangerous and unreliable. They promote the app through misleading, low-quality influencers and appear to target traders in regions with limited market knowledge. This feels less like trading and more like systematic exploitation.

Fortunately, I tested with a small amount. If this can happen to small accounts, it’s alarming to think what may happen to larger balances. I am certain I am not the only victim.

In my case, they are currently holding $6,000 of my money without offering any service or benefit in return — while continuing to profit from it.

My account remains blocked for 6 months without clear justification or resolution. After reviewing numerous similar complaints from other clients, it appears this is not an isolated case.

Many users report having their accounts restricted, funds withheld, and receiving only repetitive, copy-paste responses — even after submitting all requested documents.

This pattern raises serious concerns about your company’s practices. It seems that once an account is blocked, there is effectively no path forward for resolution, and access to funds is permanently denied.
It’s difficult not to view this as a deliberate strategy, rather than an exception. 
In my case, they are currently holding $6,000 of my money without offering any service or benefit in return — while continuing to profit from it.
They keep asking for my personal data.


A lot of other clients provided their documents, just as I did, and yet they’ve never seen any compensation or resolution. With this in mind, I don’t feel there’s any reason to share further personal information at this point.

After three months of intensive contact with the support team, I have now contacted the SEC. They are now looking into Bitunix. I hope this serves as a warning to everyone and encourages them to report Bitunix to the SEC immediately in the event of similar failures.

I’ve been using Bitunix since August 2025. Registration and verification were fast. The platform is clear and not overloaded, but at the same time it has all the necessary tools and charts — suitable for both beginners and experienced traders.
I like the high leverage up to 200x, orders are executed quickly, and I haven’t noticed any liquidity issues. Overall, trading feels comfortable and everything works smoothly.
I contacted support a couple of times — they replied quickly and to the point. It feels like a real, active community rather than a “dry” service. So far, my experience has been positive and I plan to keep using Bitunix
