Trying to return an item
Trying to return an item - impossible - can't print returns label as nothing happens when trying to do so. Impossible to find an address, and impossible to get hold of customer services - definitely not impressed. Also the item, a long padded gilet I ordered in Medium - I am a size 8 - and this barely fitted me, and certainly wouldn't have been able to zip it up with a thick winter jumper on.

Extremely Happy with Everything
So far I have ordered 2 dresses from Blue Vanilla. One was XL and one was One Size. They both fit exactly as described and looked just like the photo displayed. I love the fabric of both and they are both very good quality. I wasn’t sure what to expect for such discounted prices but I am very very pleased with everything. The shipping was also extremely fast. I did read some negative reviews but my experience has been nothing but extremely positive

Missing parcel

Update. After writing my review I received a refund on one parcel. Still no refund on my second parcel!

Poor quality items - hole in seam!
Poor quality items. Dress had a huge rip in the seam. Returned and ordered a replacement only for the same to thing to happen again after one wear! Shockingly poor quality for the seams to come apart after one wash. I only noticed it weeks later when I came to wear again and now it is outside of the return window. I have contacted them about getting a refund but yet to hear back. Would not use again.

Bad shopping experience
I placed an order with Blue Vanilla on Line for a Blazer, matching trousers and a V Neck Water Colour Top. I received the trousers, which were absoloutely huge, without the Blazer and was told the Blazer was out of stock. The V Neck Top arrived in the most appaling condition, red marks all over the top and a rather distinctive smell. I returned both items and had to pay for the postage to return. If this is the quality of their merchandise I will not be shopping with them again.

Bad customer service
Bad customer service. Returned two items, not only have I had to pay postage when both items ordered were the same size, arrived, one tiny and the other huge! Dodgy sizing. Anyway, paid for postage, tracked my return, they've had it back 8 days. I have emailed twice to ask when my refund will be and no response whatsoever. Once I get my refund, I shall not be ordering from again. Zero customer service and weird clothing sizes.

BAD SERVICE
Over the years I have found some great buys from blue Vanilla but my recent order of £140 for 5 items and sending 3 back for poor quality have found they are charging me £2.25 return post I feel like sending it all back now bloody check to charge rather then deduct from payment already received from me for crap, will not be buying from them ever again.

No refund …
Ordered a dress in two different sizes via the Matalan website without realising that they would need to be returned direct to BV. Returned two weeks ago and can see they have been delivered but I have not received any correspondence from them to acknowledge receipt let alone my refund of nearly £80.
Won’t be ordering again from them

Fabulous experience
Myself and my mother visited your shop yesterday in the Metro Centre, Gateshead, for the second time. I have to say that the service is second to none, nothing was too much for any of your staff. Both times they asked if we needed help and then left us alone to browse. Since Debenhams shut in the Metro Centre we have struggled to find a shop that we like and to be honest we were spoilt in Blue Vanilla for choice, myself taking in 9 dresses - it wasn't if it fit - but what we wanted most from the lovely selection. The sales assistant took some of the dresses from us to hang in the changing rooms to give us an opportunity to find more.
The first visit we were helped by Jess H in the changing rooms - asked us if we needed help or could get any other sizes - to save us going back out agaIn. I have to say my mother's 3 dresses were outstanding and she looked like she was going to a wedding. Myself I only purchased 2 for my holidays, but they were gorgeous, we can tell Blue Vanilla is going to be one of those shops that we visit again and again and are spoilt for choice.
However discounting the clothes, you have the best Assistants helping out around the shop, if I had been younger I would have loved to work there, nothing is too much bother, so friendly and helpful. Customers always find the time to moan and complain when something goes wrong, however rarely do they give compliments - I can honestly say everything is perfect in the shop, from the set out, to the merchandise, and especially the Assistants.
I had to return to the shop that same day as I somehow lost my car keys, the assistant confirmed she had nothing handed in and help me go through my large handbag as I was shaking so much. She suggested in the carrier bag holding the clothes and they they were. She calmed me down, and wished us a good holiday together. Fantastic customer service.
Blue Vanilla - now our favourite shop to visit.
Please make sure these thanks and compliments get handed down - they were definitely well deserved.

Do not order from Blue Vanilla, this company has taken my money from an order I have placed, the courier Evri have said my order has been delivered but I haven't received anything you cannot get any response from Blue Vanilla no phone number to call and they do not respond to emails either. AVOID ORDERING FROM THEM. I have had to contact my bank to recover my money

Purchased a blue top with large silver and gold flowers on the front on washing it by hand the gold is washing off in huge amounts , can't wear it as the glitter is all over the top now

Avoid!
Used to love BV. Charging to send out is fine, but charging again to return items without notifying customers is dishonesty. Plus any money saved with a voucher code is also deducted! For example, I spent £12.49 and after the deductions ended up with a £8.50 refund. Do you think I'll go for that for that each time I want to try/buy something? Never. Again.
