I stumbled upon photos of a property that we are listing, on booking.net which we had no knowledge of. This home has been rented out through reputable sites, such as Airbnb and bookin.com. Yet, here it was, falsely advertised on booking.net without any permission. Booking.net is acting fraudulently. They do not have authorization to use images of our property, nor do they have the right to list it for rental. I strongly advise booking.net to take down these unauthorized photos and listings immediately.

Definitely a scam. They set up a fake website for a hotel that doesn't even exist anymore. When I called to complain, they canceled my reservation but never refunded the card.

As every other has said in this forum. This is a SCAM! They claim to have a cooperation with booking.com and they have the right to advertise their portfolio. That's not true. We have demanded them to remove my property but they refuse - saying they have an agreement with booking.com. STAY AWAY!

This website is fraudulently representing our guest house. They have no mandate from us. Reviews provided of our guest house have been fraudulently manufactured. NONE of the supposed reviewers have ever stayed at our guest house and the reviews are laughably inaccurate.
Their standard reply to the hundreds of negative reviews below is that they claim to have partner agreements with other big booking platforms (ie Booking, com) that allow them to sell rooms without an agreement with the proprietors.
That may be, but they've fabricated every single one of the reviews for our guest house...and that's fraud!
Do NOT give your credit card details to this website.
We have no relationship with them and will NOT honour any bookings made through them.
How to get your own back on frauds like these?
My suggestion. Do as we have done.
These fraudsters have a "partner" relationship with the great vampire leech Booking site we all know.
Forget about tackling the fraudsters like booked.net (hotelmix etc).
Simply shut down all booking opportunities for the vampire leech Booking, com site for a week or so with a complaint to them to shut down their tentacle partners like booked.net or hotelmix with their fabricated reviews.
Want to bet how fast the great vampire leech Booking site will then act on our combined efforts?
Update 10 June 2024:
We threatened Booking, com with withdrawal of bookings from their vampire leech booking portal if they didn't force their "business partner" driving bookings to them with false reviews to remove the bogus reviews.
Result: as seen today, all the bogus reviews have been removed for Highlander House Rothesay. They continue to promote us to the vampire leech, but without any reviews (as they were all fabricated).
The decision is yours: let these scammers fabricate reviews to drive interest away from your own direct bookings toward the vampire leech...or take action as we did.
As we move forward in an increasingly AI world, these smart-asses are going to continue to try outsmart us. Don't try persuade some entity in the UAE or Cyprus...take your complaint direct to the vampire leech...Booking,com

Booker a hotel room in anchorage alaska in january for may. When i got to anchorage after a 13 hour trip from montreal canada, the hotel was closes.they reembursed me without compensation.

I agree with all other 1* reviews.
I also own a short-term rental. My property was listed without consent. I do not believe that they are per contract affiliated with another OTA (like VRBO is listing you on Expedia for example).
Information is bluntly false and misleading. It soundS like AI has written it.
Contact numbers are not working. I doubt that they will ever reply to my email as their inbox MUST BE OVERFLOWING WITH COMPLAINTS!
What I dont understand is that these complaints are ongoing for many years and they are still operating. Although the MO is very apparent!
I WILL TAKE this further. These guys are As.....h...les stealing out time and money and reputation!
yes, i agree, all the "good" reviews are fake either!
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM
AND: The replies they are sending are as untrue as the fact they stating about the property listings. If they had contracts with other OTA's then the factual content of the listings should be correct and not false. This is misleading advertising!!!

I have not authorised or instructed this platform to make or take bookings for my villa, yet I could complete pretty much the whole processs without problems. However, I never received and enquiry or notice as villa owner about this request. Its a scam!

Reply from Booked.net
I would give it NEGATIVE 10 if I could.
This company illegally obtained my credit card and tried to charge me for a hotel stay I did not book on their website. they also sold my card number to someone in Nicosia who kept trying to charge me thousands of dollars. this company should be shut down and prosecuted for fraud.

I own a vacation rental and saw my property listed on Booked.net and a phone # to call to reserve. However i have no relationship with Booked.net, and from talking with the agent is was apparent that they are based overseas. Information they provided about my property was inaccurate. At best they are acting as a sales broker who takes bookings at inflated rates and then books on other web sites for less $. More likely they are a scam pretending to represent properties. Do not use this site

We had two lovely days at the Bastide de Calalou. The facilities, service and food and wine were excellent with many thoughtful touches, eg a warm wrap for dinner on the beautiful terrace. The one criticism we would have is that the shower is hand held over the bath and there was no shower curtain or slip mat so getting in and out of the bath was tricky at our age! My husband narrowly avoided a nasty fall. Otherwise full marks.

I just found out this company used our resort photos and information pertaining the business. Some facts were incorrect which are misleading to potential clients. You kept saying you have contract partners who obviously made money by selling our business info to you, Am I right?
So, in effect - you really believed you have the right to represent the businesses you tagged on your websites and mislead clients?
Get your easy buck and let the poor resort handle angry clients on site for being misled by your misrepresentation... Booked.net you do not want to be branded as a FRAUD company, right? At least get your facts right if you want a piece of someone's pie or connect with the rightful owner and do the right thing.
TOTALLY WRONG & MISLEADING - reviews say it all.

This is FRAUDULENT. They have stolen our properties photos and arent even smart enough to have correct info. This is a SCAM. DO NOT USE.

STOLE MY PROPERTIES INFO
I did NOT give this website permission to put my property on their site. They stole all of the information from booking.com. I DO NOT want potential guests dealing with this website. I have filed a complaint with the FBI.
