I recently used Book Writing Founder's marketing services for my small business and was blown away by the results. Book Writing Founders.com in my opinion is doing its best to meet customer needs in a number of areas like book publishing, book editing, book promotion and social media marketing. However there seems to be an increase level of quality control in the whole process to ensure that the customer gets whats has been promised as this is the best gauge which will bring a 5 star review

What made my experience great was the fact that everyone on the team, who was working on my book, has been constantly in touch with me through emails and text messages. Because of their communication with me, it made me feel at ease about my story being in their hands. The editor fixes and changes have helped me prepare better for my next book project. Of course I still had my nitpick to certain edits, but when I approached the team about it, they gave me instructions on what to do during my reviews, further reinforcing the idea that they're there to help my book be the way I want it to be. That extended too to the book cover. Though I will say this is on me for not seeing the other cover artworks made, but I felt a real connection the first piece they showed me, I kinda forgot there was more to see. Yet again though, this emphasizes the control the author has over the publishing process.

I'd like to thank Becky and Mason for getting me in contact with the people needed to help my vision grow.

Last, but certainly not least, I like to thank Jane Thompson who went above and beyond with regards to helping me push myself to better promote my book. She's a wonderful person and a woman I'm glad to call my friend.

Book Writing Founders is amazing at what they do and I cannot recommend them enough to authors who are on the fence on what publishing company to choose.

I was primarily looking for copy editing services, as I had completed my manuscript. This review, therefore, does not apply to any of their ghostwriting services as I did not utilize them.

Here is a brief summary of the negative experiences, mostly at the hands of the project manager, whose name I will omit:

1) Provided answers/requests/instructions multiple times only for them to be either missed or ignored. Whether transmitted in a direct response to the manager's email or return to a text message, concerns went unanswered and errors went uncorrected:

- I had indicated I wanted to write under a penname. In both the manuscript and on the cover they included the word "Penname" (i.e., "Penname John Smith"). It took multiple requests (calls, texts, emails) over several weeks to have the word "Penname" removed.

- There were sever errors, including an error in formatting footnotes which presented them as regular-sized numbers instead of the traditional format. I explained several times that this needed to be fixed. I was promised that it was corrected and sent the final manuscript which was, in fact, the same uncorrected manuscript I had received before.

- When formatting the manuscript for publication through Kindle Direct, the spelling of my penname was inexplicably changed not only on my author's page, but also in every instance in the manuscript (i.e., Penname "John Smith" was changed to "John Smath"). If I had to guess, it was misspelled in the author's page, and somebody took it upon themselves to "correct" the spelling in the completed manuscript instead of simply correcting the spelling in the author's page. Best yet, they were kind enough to publish it with said errors and I had to unpublish, correct all the issues, and republish that + the soft and hardcover editions.

2) The manager had a bad habit of over-promising and under-delivering, promising a revision or call back within a set period of time, and then not meeting it. This was especially frustrating, as I repeatedly made clear that I understood the process takes time, I just needed to know *when* I could expect an update. Whether it was "in 15 minutes", "this afternoon", "tomorrow", et cetera the time expectation - set, mind you by the manager himself, was never met. He would, however, frequently upsell $6000 "limited time" offers for marketing packages which previous clients have sold their vehicles to fund, a couple grand for book narration, and the ever-popular "book trailer" - which is essentially a CGI commercial aimed at people who - while willing to read a book - evidently are not willing to read the back cover and would prefer to watch a CGI commercial which only serves to raise further questions as to the plot or characters.

3) Beware the ridiculous upselling. For example:
- Don't pay $600 for ISBNs. Kindle direct offers the amazon variety for free (AISBN). If you want a "true" ISBN so that the book can be sold on other platforms, they can be bought in packs of 10 for around $300, or 1 for $125. They may tell you (as they told me) they had special "Bookwriting Founders ISBN's" but they do not, as no such thing exists.

For these reasons, I would strongly advise against working with BWF.

The team is great. The writer they set me up with is getting in my head perfectly. So much talent. It's very hard for me to read. I get very emotional. It's amazing when I get to see the book coming together like this. The world will hear my story and I'm glad I chose this beautiful company. Thank you book founders. Keep up the good work.

Bookwritingfounders took my money. I paid them 5000$ for a marketing plan for which they had promised to sell 2500 copies of my book within 3 months. They created the amazon account but did not give me the username and password. They did not do any marketing qnd when I pressed them for answers They sent a photoshopped image from my alleged dashboard claiming that I had sold 500 copies in under 4 weeks. I however did not believe them so I hacked into my amazon account and found that they had sold 0 copies. Eventually they claimed that a rogue employee was behind this and they promised to give my money back. They didn't I filed a bank claim and they begged me to withdraw it by claiming I had done it accidentally so they would refund me I refused Now I am suing.

I am writing this review to protect others. Please be careful and don't pay for their packages as they won't deliver what's promised and they won't give back your money.
They have recently reached out asking me to remove my negative reviews so they would give back my money. But if they do intend on refunding why not refund first?

I am very pleased with the website, the news release and especially the video trailer that now displays on my website to promote my new e-book The Man from Tuskegee, available on Amazon Kindle. The website also contains a buy now button that takes viewers directly to my sale site on Amazon!

Right now, I'm engrossed in penning a book on the topic of passive income. I shared my secrets for becoming a successful virtual assistant (VA) and working from anywhere in the world. There are many people who would like to establish their own enterprises but just do not have the resources to do so at this time. Since this was my first time trying to write a book, I turned to Book Writing Founders Services for help. A lot of people were already invested in the concept, so it was important that I find the correct words to describe it. The best book we could have written was a collaboration of their imagination and mine. I'm grateful to have connected with so many talented authors and individuals.

I was on their website- browsing for information on the services provided- a chat popped up quickly and i was able to get a call straight away- which is fab. I'm a low content book author with a specific theme/ niche. I was quoted a price and given a list of platforms my book could be published on. The person I was talking with found my book live on Amazon but the vast majority of the platforms included in the quote are for Ebooks only which is not at all suitable for a logbook/ journal type notebook.

It was a fairly short call but I didn't really feel the person I spoke with understood my request or my product. I'd hoped to get some good advice/ direction. Including Ebook only sites reduced my confidence in the company straight away, unfortunately. There's lots of positive reviews here, I'm not knocking them- their service isn't suited to my needs.
