This is a great service
This is a great service, really easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is it didn't make it totally clear on the Google ad that the instant 15 min valuation is only available during office hours for the estate agents. I clicked it during an evening, and valuations were not available until the next day. But otherwise, awesome.

Early doors but great idea!
On the face it seems like a really clever idea and fills a gap in the market. I’ve only used it for a valuation but I like the concept a lot.

Very fast and extremely accurate valuation. Spot on to what I had thought. I only selected one agent, whom I had never had experience of. He followed up with a call and explained the valuation. He clearly understood the local market. Not pushy at all. Interesting way for a potential seller to get an accurate feel for the market, without making any commitment or feeling obliged.

Quick and easy to fill in, if you want a quick valuation this is the way to do it.
Estate agents follow up with a telephone call in case you want to take it further.
Otherwise if just looking it gives you a good idea of your property's value.

I received two figures valuing my property. One was £80,000 less than what we paid for the property 5 years ago and the other matched the original purchase price. I was not impressed.

We clearly advise at the bottom of the screen where you choose your 3 agents that we will be passing on your info to those agents to enable them to provide you with your valuations. The local knowledge of the agent and what is happening in the local market is often crucial to what price can be achieved for a property. SmartVal gives you access to that local expertise. Once you have had a SmartVal you can easily book the agent to come out to your property whereupon they will give you a more detailed on-site assessment.
