Supposed to be coming to fit a boiler I’ve taken the day off work have 3 children and no access to hot water and cancel on me 4 minutes before the supposed arrival time absolute joke of a company would not recommend to any one

I had Air Conditioning Installed 6th…
I had Air Conditioning Installed 6th June. The installers, a 3rd party contractor were polite keen and willing. The BOXT contractor however, lacked experience or capability and have left me with some very serious issues:
1 - The Air Conditioning External Unit is 10ft up, and has been hung on a bracket supplied by BOXT, but the bolts are at an angle, and the bracket is coming away from the wall, at any point the unit could fall off the wall.
2 - The internal unit is also coming away from the wall, with a 10 mm gap now present on one side.
3 - The hole the contractor drilled through the wall has broken 5 bricks, in such a way they have not been able to attach the ducting cover. We now have an open hole in our house right through to our wall cavity, and I'm worried about issues with birds, wasps, hornets or other wildlife taking advantage of the hole.
4 - the contractor was resting their ladder on 5 pallets to extend their ladders reach, they had no concern for their own safety.
5 - The installers have bent and damaged the fins on the internal unit of the air conditioning unit.
6 - BOXT did not supply piping for a drain so the drain pipe is just hanging, blowing in the wind.
The issues were reported to BOXT via their webchat mid-install, and to be fair the webchat team have tried to give a good service. BOXT however, are now struggling to find an alternative contractor to fix the issues highlighted.
I also note as seen in other reviews, when you book a day for install, that's part 1 of the install, BOXT will get the first phase is complete (installing the units). Once the first phase is complete BOXT will book and send an electrician to wire everything in - that could be many days later. Think about this when you book Air Conditioning with BOXT. I don't have an electrician booked yet as the first phase of the installation was completed so badly with so much damage there is no point wiring it in.
I personally was stunned I had to write this review. BOXT installed our boiler a couple of years ago, and it was perfect. This time however, with Air Conditioning they sent a very bad contractor, it's gone very very wrong and as BOXT rely on subcontractors (to the best of my observations) will struggle to put things right.
Overall based on the installation and inability to fix my issues or provide updates I'm not able to recommend BOXT for Air Conditioning.

Contracts signed 8 weeks ago and two weeks before installing of solar panels get a phone call from boxt. Due to their error and not realising how big our conservatory is we need to have slopping scaffolding. OK, but they wanted us to pay an extra £1800!! Let me remind you it was their error! Contracts already signed! Work due to begin in terms weeks! Needless to say we said no to paying for their error. They did offer to pay £1000 but I still refuse to pay for their error! The end options given buy boxt was to pay or cancel. I cancelled! They didn't seem to bothered on losing the sale for the sake of £1800 due to their error!
I wonder how many people they do this to and force more money out of them?
I would not recommend this company or trust the glowing reports they appear to have!

Ordering the boiler was so simple, with easily shown options. Very easy to book in fitting and communication was very good. The fitters and boilers both arrived as expected and boiler was fitted in a day. The team I had were polite & friendly, kept themselves to themselves and were respectful of my needs to keep dogs at back of house and keeping doors closed. Everything was left clean & tidy and they gave me a good explanation on how to use the boiler

Ordered 3 air con units to be installed in our home, my wife gets a call from installer the day before fitting and is asked to pay an extra 500 pounds for scaffolding. Immediately cancelled since that is a hidden charge under ToS. This should already be factored in for a wall mounted ac unit.

Great team a few minor problems but they were sorted. My engineer Louie was absolutely brilliant, he went above and beyond to get everything right, He is a credit to the company. Also Nick and Abbie went out of their way to get the minor problem sorted.

BOXT are very reliable and trustworthy company
BOXT have been very reliable trustworthy company. We applied for the boiler on a Friday and they arranged to fit it on the Monday. So extremely fast service
. We have had good communication explaining everything we need to know. We had a few complications due to the the age of the home and previous boiler but they were great at rearranging everything as fast as possible. Paul was our fitter with his son the ginger ninja. Who we cannot speak highly enough of. It wasn’t an easy instillation for the guys working on our home but they were amazing and ensured everything was completed fast and in great working order. They made sure we were happy through every step and explained everything to us. We would highly recommend Paul and his side kick to complete this work as he was a brilliant hard worker who was pleasant through it all. Thank you so much xx
Switched from standard to combi boiler
Our boiler packed up on a Monday evening and by Thursday a new boiler had been fitted, all radiators hotter than they'd ever been and much better water pressure..Boxt are so efficient and reliable,the engineer was very friendly and chatty but got on with the job in hand,literally didn't stop from 8am to 6pm on the first day and had it all completed the next day by 2pm and everything was cleaned and taken away..Amazing! Highly recommend Boxt for Price,ease of booking,reliability,cleanliness and efficiency..Thank you!

Chris Docherty did an excellent job uninstalling my old boiler and installing the new one. He was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain all the features of the new boiler and Hive system in a way that was easy to understand, making sure I was comfortable using everything before he left. Chris also provided some really helpful advice regarding our radiators and overall heating system. The installation was completed to a good standard. I am extremely pleased with the service and would highly recommend Chris and BOXT to anyone looking for a new boiler installation.
Not a very nice company at all
Not a very nice company at all. So first and foremost when you book or pay for a new Boxt installation it will not be a Boxt employee who will do the installation rather 3rd party engineering who’s struggling for there own work so will sub contract to Boxt. Check your order if any lines are missing from the order but should be fitted to mi regs will be chargeable after install. They will push a hell of a lot of “do the work yourself” and try to explain a qualified gas engineers job for you yo do yourself. If you refuse they will charge you a call fee to fix whatever problem they have caused on install. I strongly suggest checking for any leaks and that all components are working on the system as if you get a rough 3rd party engineer who breaks any of the parts on your exsisting system Boxt will simply say they didn’t fit it and this will then be another cost to yourself a lot more sneaky trick go on behind the scenes as well such as they may sell you a Meagan cleanse not perform this correctly which will agitate the sludge in the system. They will then tell you it’s no fault of there’s and will charge you another 550 for a power flush and again they will blame your system. Please think before using this company I’ve had to do this to customers myself when I was there avoid at all costs it’s not worth the agro
