Bradfords had what I needed in stock, at a reasonable price, were open at Saturday lunchtime, and when I went to pick up, someone loaded the car.

We were looking for a small tool store. Although there were none on show we were given a catalogue and useful information about them, quality durability etc .

Different and rusty
I had to travel to a remote branch to pick up the Click and Collect trestles. When I got to the store the staff could not provide me with the goods. I was asked to check in the yard. The yard staff couldn’t help either - I was asked to check in the hire store. They could not find my order on the computer but they agreed to provide the goods as I had proof of purchase. The trestles has been stored outside and some were rusty. I ordered two different sizes, which was ok, but the smaller size was a different type with different fixings. The staff were all ok to deal with but the Click and Collect system was clearly not properly implemented.

A problem well communicated,
Very easy to find the product I was after, also to place my order.
4/5 due to an issue with the delivery, but this was communicated well by the team when the issue was known.
The delivery was made a few days later without any further problems - a weekend getting in the way!
I certainly wouldn’t hesitate in placing further orders if required.

Excellent all round
I recently ordered two 800 kilo bags of gravel and sand plus timber and cement for two bases for a new shed and a new greenhouse.
The online ordering was easy to follow, the follow up tel. confirmation of the delivery date was very efficient and courteous.
Above all the customer service and helpfulness of the delivery driver, Ben, was outstanding.
What’s more the products are good and priced competitively.
I’ve since collected a top up of cement from the same depot that handled the delivery in Ilminster and received an equally good level of customer service and help.
Thank you Bradfords Ilminster, I’ll be back!
