I first used Mark and his team when I purchased my first property in 2021, and I’ve continued to work with them ever since—through my remortgage two years later and most recently in April 2026 when purchasing my next property.

Each time, the service has been outstanding. Mark made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free, always being readily available whether he needed something from me or I had a question. His communication was excellent throughout.
He worked seamlessly with the estate agents and recommended Gorvins Residential as solicitors, who were also fantastic. In addition, he introduced me to a Specialist Protection Adviser, Andy, who secured a brilliant life insurance deal for me.

Rachel Black is the best mortgage advisor you're ever likely to find.

We've been with Bright Advice now through two house purchases, a rearrangement with Halifax and remortgage to Nationwide. The rearrangement and remortgage were slightly after the advent of the war in Ukraine and just before the Iran war began, on a 5 year fix, respectively. Not easy times, but Rachel has been amazing.

Communication is spot on and your hand will be held all the way through by Rachel and her colleagues or, I imagine, whoever your advisor at Bright turns out to be.

We have had Paul Murfitt as our mortgage advisor since our first house purchase. Paul has continued to advise us with remortgaging and our second move since. He’ll be our first port of call for any future move/remortgaging advice. Paul has always provided us a fantastic service, with tailored, detailed advice. Paul always goes the extra mile, is very detail oriented and has always got us great deals. We’re lucky to have had him assist us with our first mortgage! He’s a real asset to Bright advice.

I have recently purchased my first house and Paul at Bright Advice was recommended to me by a friend. Paul made the whole process easy and found me a great mortgage offer, it was the same provider and rate I had been offered from another mortgage broker but through Paul it came with £500 cashback, the other broker didn’t offer me that! Paul and Evie kept me informed throughout the whole house purchase process which took nearly 3 months. They provided a fantastic service and got me a great mortgage offer. Try to avoid Paul Murfitt as a mortgage adviser. In my experience, he pushes clients towards the shortest mortgage deals to maximise his fees, while putting in minimal effort. I wouldn’t trust his recommendations — his work ethic simply isn’t there.

5 star service from start to finish. Mark was incredible, he took us on as a difficult case looking very unlikely to get the Mortage we wanted and he worked a miracle. He didn’t give up and kept trying everything and we are so glad we did. So easy to talk to, bounce ideas off and understanding of what we wanted to achieve. I couldn’t recommend him more. Also a super special shout out to Evie because without her it wouldn’t have happened either. She felt with all my endless questions, paperwork and all the stuff most of us would hate.
