Despite assurances that they'd refund an incorrect booking, they haven't refunded after 3 months and almost 20 emails. I used Bring Fido to book 3 hotels during a May 2024 trip. 2 were fine, but the third booked for the wrong date (I booked that day, en route, and only ever entered that day's date. The Bring Fido system must have changed the date, and I was booking on my phone, so didn't see.). When I arrived, the hotel's assistant manager allowed me to cancel my incorrect date and book for that night. The next day, I confirmed with the manager that they had not charged me for the incorrect date, would not in the future, and it was canceled. But Bring Fido STILL has not refunded my money, despite almost 20 emails back and forth. Kathi Quinn, the escalations manager I'm emailing, says the La Quinta manager hasn't responded to Bring Fido's request for documentation that La Quinta won't seek my canceled night's fee. SINCE MAY. She also suggested that I call La Quinta, which I did try, but also have never gotten through.

I've been using BringFido for years to book rooms and have never had a problem. They also list services and activities in the area you are traveling to.

The first time I used their service I booked over the phone and it went very well. The second time, I booked online for a Motel 6 reservation for two rooms. I show up and Motel 6 has only received one rooms' worth of reservations. They called bringfido, spent 20 minutes on the phone with them, and the result was that some person had manually entered my reservation from their app into the Motel 6 system, in which they both screwed up the number of rooms as well as the spelling of my name. I did get refunded by bringfido.com a few days later but I will NEVER use this service again due to the fact that they are using 3rd party underpaid labor to manually transfer data from one database to another. Better to just contact motels/hotels directly if you want solid pet-friendly service.
EDITED TO UPDATE: The response from bringfido is total lies. I paid bringfido for two rooms. They sent a single room’s reservation to Motel 6. I had to pay Motel 6 in person for the second room that bringfido failed to send over thus necessitating the refund request. Additionally bringfido listed my first name completely wrong. I had to correct that at the counter at Motel 6.

We have a golden retriever who rides well and travels with us everywhere. In the past we have had to find a place and make reservations ahead. This takes away the options to spend extra time at an interesting place or stop early because of getting tired. Just put in our location when we decided to stop, several options came up.

I had booked ahead to a less than desirable hotel and then afterwards read a scathing review after I had booked and paid for my stay. I was able to contact Bring Fido immediately and speak to someone directly because they provide a phone number for that purpose. Although everyone is warned when using the site that all bookings are non refundable, when I explained my predicament the staff member taking care of me said he would advance my complaint and advocate for a refund. Within an hour they sent me an email letting me know my money had been refunded. I always book through Bring Fido but was unaware until this experience that they offered such personalized service. WELL DONE!!!

BringFido made it so easy to find accommodations that accept a pitbull. We had many choices - many of which we wouldn't have thought would be "pet friendly". And I love that the prices were shown. What a huge help!

1st time using the app. What a great experience. It was very easy to navigate. Rooms were reviewed. Comments we're left. Traveled the entire East Coast from Maine to Florida and back. Only 1 hotel was a disappointment and was reviewed as such. Reservations were all made and confirmed. No issues.

I have used Bring Fido for years and appreciate locking in dog rooms without hassle. But today, they went above and beyond the call of duty. One of my dogs is near end of life, and I am hesitant to travel today. Julie, of Bring Fido, who had already sent me an email vowing to reimburse dog fees at a hotel, as the hotel had just raised them, came to the rescue! She was able to cancel both hotel stays day of travel without cost to me. I can't thank the Bring Fido team enough for actually caring about their customers. 5 stars is not enough!
