I will start at the Beginning
I will start at the Beginning, my son bought me a voucher of £30 for fathers day, so on Monday the 29th of June I placed an order for £49.99 as this offered free delivery, I entered the code my son gave me and went through, so I paid the difference of £19.99 on my card, but on Tuesday morning having checked my account they had taken the full amount of £49.99 so now paid £80 for a £50 order, so immediately sent a email at 6.45am, I didn't get a response, so later in the day I phoned customer service, left my complaint and a automated message said I would receive a reply within 2 days have since sent 2 further email and left 2 further phone messages, it is now Friday evening and still no response either by email or phone, so pleases do not order from this company as they have no one in account's or customer service or just choose to ignore customers I am still £30 out of pocket

"Brockleby's Handmade Pies offer a wonderful selection of pies, all made with quality ingredients and packed with flavour. The fillings are generous, the pastry is excellent, and every pie tastes freshly made with care. A superb product that I would happily recommend to anyone who enjoys proper handmade pies."

Awful spam text message. Ignore data account requests
Pies are great. Marketing experience awful. They send spam SMS text messages to numbers given for delivery purposes and, if you don’t unsubscribe, an extraordinary number of marketing emails. To date they’ve ignored my account deletion requests. Heading towards having to report them to the ICO.
For £8, I'd expect more - but at least they rectified
For £8, I'd expect more from a pie of this size. Underwhelming. Bought the Moo & Blue from Alcester Market food festival. Nice pastry but not much filling, and a bit watery. I've had far better for half the price.
UPDATE: Brockleby's have sent me a voucher for 2 free pies, which is good of them. I suspect that this poor experience was just a one-off as they appear to take quality very seriously. Hence increase in star rating from 3 to 4

Change in quality
Found initially at a Farmers Market last Summer, bought a couple and thoroughly enjoyed, particular Kiwi. Since ordered 6/8 at a time on line a couple of times, again thoroughly enjoyed.
Getting low so Returned to Farmers Market couple of weeks ago to re-stock, what's changed we ask. Kiwi pie had lots of gristle and the chicken (our first and will be the last) totally lacked content or flavour.
Minted lamb very nice and unlike some reviewers no issue with pastry (which I always glaze ahead of freezing) in fact prefer to flaky used by such as M&S and Waitrose.
Whilst we have enjoyed, our most recent experience suggests a downward trend in quality. Would previously have given 5 stars, but based on recent purcahses downgraded to 3.
Updated 14/5/26: Brockleby's responnsed quickly, I provided information as requested and as gesture of goodwill send a voucher for two pies to try and restore confidence which is an appreciated gesture.

Yummy inside but not so outside.
So far i have had 3 out of the 6 pies and although the inside was beautiful the pastry was very hard. Each pie is also extremely difficult to get out of the foil tin and stuck to the sides causes me to have to break the foil and on one the whole pie up.

the delivery was on time and the pies were delicious
Pastry like my nana made, lovely fillings, excellent choice of flavours and fillings …
Ive had several emails over a few months but always resisted buying, but decided to try this time. Given a choice of delivery dates, a free pie, I bought ten! I don't eat the meat ones, so will need to wait for my dad to review those, but the fruit pies, and the salmon pies hqve been beautiful. Lots of filling and the most gorgeous pastry since my late nana was here. Definitely recommend the company. Not as cheap as the local supermarket pies, but definitely a better quality choice!
The taste of your pies is delicious
The taste of your pies is delicious! My only complaint is that the pastry is a bit hard otherwise I would have given you 5⭐️
They have improved since I last bought them. I can now get the pies out of the foil when they have cooked without them breaking up. And I love that you can recycle the wool and ice packs although the instructions weren't very clear!
Delivered on time
Delivered on time. Good size and great taste. Looking forward to tasting the different fillings. 😋
Bland and underwhelming. I expected so much more…
I purchased a couple of pies from a farmers market in Enfield. Just cooked the Moo & Blue Pie. I’m amazed at the fuss. I cooked it perfectly - according to the instructions with a golden crust. Looked great but tasted awful. Very watery, lacked even a hint of seasoning, beef was stringy and just sympathetic taste of blue cheese. Blue cheese has a powerful earthy and robust flavour - non of which came through the pie. Why bother putting it in? The gravy lacked any richness and being thin ran everywhere. Being a pie there was noting much I could add to it to improve the flavour. Not worth it at all and worringly, I still have a chicken version to expose myself to……not doing that I’ll give it away.

Excellent website to use
Excellent website to use. The choice is very good, I have only had 2 pies out of my order but they were Excellent.
Never having heard of Brockleby’s Pies…
Never having heard of Brockleby’s Pies I bought a classic beef steak and ale pie and a pork pie at Berkeley Castle Farmers Market(Gloucestershire) and both were absolutely delicious. Top quality. Pastry and fillings were just as they needed to be tasty and delightful The gentleman who had got up at 5.45am to bring the pies was delightful, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you
