We had the chicken Maharaja pie, when we fist put it out we quartered the pie as it looked huge, needless to say as soon as we started cutting into the gorgeous pastry, the worry of not being able to eat half a pie each was soon overcome and plates were almost scraped clean. “100%" hit all the right spots, good quantity of chicken, tasty sauce, awesome pastry. What more can I say, other than try one!
They are the best bought pies , forget the major supermarkets , once tasted you will never have any other .
Gluten free available as well
Ordered the 'Beaver' pie, the photos on the website showed a densly packed pie with lots of meat. In reality what we got was a pie with thin, watery gravy and a whole three chunks of meat in half the pie. It tasted nice, but the quality of the pie in no way justified the price we paid. Would not recommend these to a friend and will not use again
Once again, a mix-up with the order..having had a problem with my first order, I received a coupon for 2 free pies, so I ordered a variety, including two pork pies, one ready to eat, and one frozen to bake at home. I opened the box with anticipation of sinking my teeth into a nice pork pie, only to find that both of them had to be baked at home, which also entails pouring gelatine into the pie, which is not terribly easy to do...
Here we are in June, and still nothing back from this pie company, as promised...

The pies are the best and this isn’t a one off. It’s consistent top quality
The pastry was buttery and light and when cooked was really nice. I have had the chicken and leek and the beef and blue cheese and although nice I didn’t think there was anything special. I was not impressed with the amount of meat in the filling. I also got the cook at home pork pie which was extremely delicious.
I attended the Pie Shop on Church Street, along with a group of 6. This had been pre-booked. The food was lush, the pies were exemplary. Succulent & generous fillings, with lovely pastry. The mash was creamy and tasty. The soup starter, and cherry pie dessert were also incredibly nice. The experience was made even better by the staff who served us. They were attentive (without being in your face), warm, and welcoming. They joined in some banter too, and genuinely seemed to enjoy putting 'farm to fork'. Massive thank you to everyone working on the afternoon of 13th December.
We've had 2 orders from Brockleby's thus far. Each pie we have tried has been very tasty and cooks up extremely well. We've tried the beef, venison, and chicken pies and love them all. The large pies are great for my wife and I for a filling supper.
Would love to see Brockleby's sell a side tub of gravy to go along with the pies. -hk

Fast delivery well packed and excellent taste
A brilliant company. Great service and gorgeous pies. They are a little on the expensive side I know but they are well worth it. The pies have lots of filling and big chunks of meat. The pastry is beautiful. The best pies by far. I buy about 6 at a time and pop them in the freezer. The delivery is always on time and updates sent. Brilliant all round.
Fantastic pastry but sadly didn't deliver on filling. Minted shepherd should be renamed minted pea as it was mostly that.
As always first class service and first class products
Great scoff and delivery when you want it at a very good price. I'm stocked up for the immediate future but already planning to order more. Contrary to popular belief, pies can be part of a calorie controlled diet . And so say all of us.
