Satisfied

First time I made a claim, it was very easy and very quick. The payment was made straight away. I didn't quite understand it to begin with. Called customer services they were very helpful and explained well. Thank you

Dr Rajan is great

Dr Rajan is great! I had such a lovely dentis experience, especially considering it was an appoitment for a tooth extraction. He was so quick and gentle that I barely even notice the procedure was done. He made me feel completely at ease throughout the treatment. I would highly recommend

Not with Bupa Luton by choice i'm afraid

Only reason I'm with Bupa Luton is because it's near to where I live and I get cover via work, otherwise compared to where I was before, the following reasons lets the ratings down:
1. Can never get through to reception via phone
2. Don't open outside of work hours or weekends, bit difficult for those who work 9-5pm
3. Hygienist isn't as talkative, so never sure when 'done' with the session and how my overall teeth health is like, makes it a bit awkward at the end

It was not too difficult to get the…

It was not too difficult to get the approvals from BUPA. Execution was good.
The only negative was I could NOT get the orthopedic surgeon of my choice, even though he is on the BUPA platform and I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY that was the case?

My GP referred me to see an ENT (ear

My GP referred me to see an ENT (ear, nose and throat) consultant and I received a letter from NHS Lothian saying the average wait time is over 2 years!! Thank goodness I have a BUPA policy as was able to see a consultant surgeon (Mr Alex Bennet at Spire Shawfair Park Hospital in Edinburgh) with just a 2 week wait. He provided immediate relief for my hearing loss and have seen him a couple of times since for follow-up. Very impressed - thank you.

poor follow-up

I was disappointed how long it took to get results back and hearing from GP. I had to chase after 2weeks for blood test results and they offered a review another few weeks out. Then needed to do further blood tests and again had to chase after 2weeks of no response.
