Used the BUPA app to get procedure authorised, on a Sunday would you believe and was authorised within an hour, incredible service. Cannot fault customer service and response from start to finish. Stayed at BUPA approved Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury, all staff brilliant. Excellent outcome after procedure, very happy.

I went through the video assessment (it was very professional and friendly) to get a referral for my neck problem . The assessment was completed and appeared on the BUPA app next day, stating i do not have to di anything BuPA will be in touch within 48 hours. Unfortunately i never got any response or an actual referral. All on an app and no one to talk to. Not a great experience and not sure what’s the point paying for the cover when i cannot get to see a doctor or even discuss my case to understand how i can get help.

Every time I need medical help I know I can rely on my Bupa insurance a 100%. I consider myself lucky because my employer pays for my business coverage. I used both my health insurance and my dental insurance this year and they were a great advantage to access the absolute top specialists both in health and in dental care. Submitting claims is super easy and the Bupa app helps me understand what is being paid out and what I need to cover as a co-share. The customer service is always spot on and can answer my queries in a timely and professional manner .I only can recommend it to everyone.

One of the worst health insurance providers I’ve had in the UK. Claims processing takes far too long, mistakes happen far too often, and there are endless follow-up questions sent to doctors as a condition for approving future claims. Overall, the experience has been frustrating, limiting patient recovery, inefficient, and far below expectations.
