I honestly couldn’t recommend Felicity Lacey at Burton & Co enough! She managed to complete my property purchase in a record time.
Her communication was outstanding throughout, always quick to respond, extremely helpful and constantly keeping me updated. She genuinely went above and beyond to get everything sorted as quickly and smoothly as possible.

​I cannot thank James Kennedy, his team at Burton & Co Lincoln, and our instructed barrister Chris enough for everything they have done for my family.
​Going through court proceedings is terrifying, especially while managing severe mental health struggles and caring for disabled children. James and his team went above and beyond to make the entire process accessible. When I couldn't attend in-person appointments, they accommodated me without hesitation through video calls and regular phone check-ins. On the day of our hearing, I ended up at the wrong court and suffered a severe panic attack in the car. James’s team immediately notified the court, explained the situation, and ensured my position was fully protected.
​Once inside the courtroom, the barrister they instructed, Chris, was absolutely incredible. When I was panicking, Chris calmed me down and arranged for a blue screen to be put up so the people sitting behind me were blocked from view. I have never experienced that level of care, protection, and understanding from a legal team before.
​Thanks to their dedication, our order is now settled and our home is safe. I will never forget the kindness, patience, and brilliant representation we received from James, his team, and Chris. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Probate is a traumatic experience for anyone, Burton &Co made it 100x worse for us by completely ignoring us the weeks and weeks following the initial agreement meeting. Best advice I can give is use someone else, don't put yourselves in their hands

From the start of the process at the end of April until the completion of the sale I can not praise enough Bethany Bayes who handled the complete process.
Her clear communication, guidance and reassuring support made it very much a stress free process.
If there is such a thing as a star performer Bethany certainly is.
I should also point out that whenever I phoned the staff were always polite and if need be passed on messages in a timely manner
I would certainly recommend the company and am surprised that there are any negative reviews

We have just sold a deceased relative’s property using Burton and co. Felicity was extremely helpful and let us know what was happening all through the process. It took ages because we couldn’t locate the deeds which was nothing to do with Burton and co but once they’d been found everything moved really quickly. Would definitely recommend Felicity.

Diabolical! At no time did anyone return my calls! So many times I phoned to be told “I’ll send an email to Richard French’s team to ask them to get back to you’. Not once, and I repeat, not once was my query replied to.

Bought my first home. Stepped in explained briefly that I need a solicitor, I’m fisrt time buyer etc. They invited to a room to discuss it . At the end they said , if I accept the quote what they’ll send soon than they’ll start the process.., few minutes later got the quote, I accept it immediately.
Fun fact almost 3 weeks later got call back from another solicitor who I asked a quote.., they didn’t even asked questions… , only phone number to call me back to discuss it…. lol , I said thank you I already sorted ..
Burton and Co answered all my questions when I had one , called me back when I left voice message . Everything went smoothly. Friendly, lovely.
