Buster + Punch is a London-born solid metal design label, founded in 2012 in a garage in East London by Massimo Minale. It started with a simple frustration - the door handles, switches and light fittings on the market at the time were dull, disposable, and built to be forgotten. Buster + Punch set out to make the opposite: hardware and lighting with weight, presence and attitude, built from real materials rather than plated or moulded substitutes.
Today the brand ships worldwide through four regional stores covering the UK, Europe, the US and Australia. The collection spans cabinet and door hardware, dimmers, switches and sockets, and lighting - from single pendants to full chandeliers - alongside a smaller range of furniture, home accessories and jewellery. Every piece is designed in-house and finished in solid brass, steel or smoked bronze, chosen because these materials age with a home rather than degrade against it.
The design language draws on London's fashion, music and subculture scenes as much as it does on traditional hardware manufacturing, and Buster + Punch regularly collaborates with street artists, bike builders and musicians on limited pieces. The result is a catalogue built for people who think about their interiors the way they think about what they wear - considered, distinctive, and built to last rather than replace.
We ship internationally to customers in over 180 countries. The specifications for the handle did…
The specifications for the handle did not match the handle. The hole drilling for the bolt was correct, but there is an additional flange that prevents the rubber stopper from pressing to the door, so there is gap between the handle/escutcheon and the door.

Poor Product Longevity
Note that this is a 2 year review of my experience using B+P's switches.
I purchased more than 1 thousand pounds worth of switches and sockets from B+P 2 years ago, only to encounter issues with their dimmers and switches immediately after installation (50% of 8 dimmers failed). They were replaced for free within the warranty period. B+P's customer service excels here, despite the poor longevity of their products.
However, one of my switches recently broke 2 years after purchase (the lever itself snapped off). I then contacted customer service only to be told that they've replaced their entire line of switches and there is no replacement for the old ones and that I'll have to buy new ones. That is 10x the cost for a product that potentially lasts only 2 years.
Sure, B+P's products look great. Their CS is top notch as well. But why would you want to buy products that give you so much trouble?

Unfortunately, product ranges do evolve over time, and the original switches you purchased are no longer available following the introduction of our updated range. This means we are unable to supply an identical replacement for the switch that has recently broken.

While the product has an attractive appearance, I don’t feel it justifies the price. The bigger problem is that it doesn’t fit standard cutouts. Without adjusting the opening, it protrudes from the wall. If you choose to modify the cutout, note that the lip is very narrow and offers virtually no margin for error.
