Buster + Punch is a London-born solid metal design label, founded in 2012 in a garage in East London by Massimo Minale. It started with a simple frustration - the door handles, switches and light fittings on the market at the time were dull, disposable, and built to be forgotten. Buster + Punch set out to make the opposite: hardware and lighting with weight, presence and attitude, built from real materials rather than plated or moulded substitutes.
Today the brand ships worldwide through four regional stores covering the UK, Europe, the US and Australia. The collection spans cabinet and door hardware, dimmers, switches and sockets, and lighting - from single pendants to full chandeliers - alongside a smaller range of furniture, home accessories and jewellery. Every piece is designed in-house and finished in solid brass, steel or smoked bronze, chosen because these materials age with a home rather than degrade against it.

Dimmers are horrible quality, do not install
I would never purchase or install again. We installed Buster and Punch dimmers and switches throughout our house and the dimmers specifically have been a total nightmare. The units are extremely expensive but the dimmers are extremely poor quality, fragile, and easy to break. We are so disappointed in them as they look good but just seem to present one problem after another. The difference between the quality and feel of the switch and the dimmers is night and day.

The photos depicted a silver colored…
The photos depicted a silver colored stainless steel faucet. I recvd a dark dull grey metal faucet. I even ran it through ChatGPT for its impression and it agreed with me that the color was completely misrepresented yet I still have to pay return shipping because buster + punch calls that “changing my mind”.
Customer service tried to gaslight me about it as did a response to a previous review that I did. I’m doing this review because Buster and Punch sent me an email requesting a review. I would never buy anything from them again.
Their response below, trying to change the subject and make this about some sort of “language” used against their gaslighting Customer service, does not changed the fact that the picture of their product depicted is not the product I received no matter what their customer service has to say about it. If I could post pictures here this would be solved very quickly. But this is what they do, gaslighting as their specialty. What a bizarre company.

Terrible service for defective parts
One of the dimmer switches is defective. There is no means to exchange it. I had to return it for a refund (which I had to pay postage). Then, when I ordered a replacement, you tell me that because of "warehouse renovations" I have to wait 2 - 3 weeks for shipment but you kindly charged may credit card now.

Be careful their pictures don’t represent the product and you’re gonna be paying shipping to get it and you’re gonna be paying shipping to return it.
The faucet appears light bright silver in every picture on their website and then when you get it, it’s a muddy grayish stainless color, not silver stainless like subzero stainless, but like gunmetal almost— I don’t even know what to call it. Muddy brown gray. Not at all as pictured. And they call this return reason you’ve changed your mind.
I have not changed my mind. You did not send me what you pictured in the picture.
I really don’t appreciate the deception, cost, or aggravation this has caused in my renovation.
(Their gaslighting response doesn’t change that. The item is the item the color is not the same as pictured and they refuse to acknowledge it. What a terrible company.
In response to derogatory language, there’s nothing worse than being told that what you’re seeing with your eyes you’re not seeing the level of gaslighting is beyond any level of comprehension. This is why you see a lot of buster and punch on Facebook marketplace because it’s not worth returning it - they make it so difficult. This is not a proper customer experience in 2026. I will tell you that.)

TOTAL CLASS - AMAZING
TOTAL CLASS. This is a premium product from the customer service all the way to the product itself. We have multiple of these lights in our house. They come excellently packaged and are extremely solid and incredibly built with a real attention to detail. We had a slight issue with one of our lights (our electrician put it up many months after ordering) and we were looked after so well and all is sorted. Total class product and service. Don’t hesitate.

The overall customer service is great
The overall customer service is great, speedy, and responsive. In my view, given the time and the process of getting 4 out of 6 or 7 switches I ordered faulty, it is insufficient to make most happy by giving customers 10% off on their next order.

Sublime customer service. We ecperienced some issues with our switches outside of the warranty period, but Suzanne from the customer support team was very understanding and helped us regardless.
Beside the great product quality, the support and service both are outstanding aswell.
