This company does business as advertised. Selling my extra phone was seamless and shipping was paid for by them. My money showed up in my Paypal account within 24hrs of them receiving my phone, and I got the full amount quoted to me.

I don't use a laptop much so I decided to sell my Macbook Air and use the proceeds to buy an iPad. I sent my Air to Buyback and it's condition was downgraded more than I thought reasonable. As I would learn from a very unhappy Service Rep, voicing an opinion that was not what he wanted was not acceptable.

Even though I agreed to the reduced price, the Rep was so angry that he shipped my Air back. Good news is Apple paid me significantly more and now I own a new iPad.

So I’m just waiting to get what there going to send me, so lije that I can ship my phone. Now what I’m worried if they now going to change the price on me once they have it in there hands. Update (1-8-25) I was contacted by Buyback Surgeon company and the owner of the company has taken care of this. After talking to him, it's looking like a USPS employee may have cut the tape and removed the phone. Again, Jason has taken care of this for me so changing the rating to 5 stars. He noticed this is a one-off issue and usually phones don't go missing. Thanks Jason!

Extremely Disappointed

On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, I received a prepaid USPS Ground Advantage shipping label from BuyBack Surgeon to sell my iPhone 13 Pro for $196. The phone was in great working condition, only needing a minor repair for the camera lens.

I carefully packaged the phone in a certified smartphone box from Apple, securing it with shipping tape, and shipped it promptly. USPS tracking confirmed that BuyBack Surgeon received the package on January 4, 2025.

However, shortly after, I received an email from BuyBack Surgeon stating:

"We received your box opened with nothing inside. Check with your local Post Office if the device fell out or if there is a device missing in the route your package traveled."
