Buyer Beware - my dumbbells broke within 3 months of receiving and the company won’t stand behind their product. Save your money and buy from a reputable company. Btw - this is my second time posting because the company deleted my prior post. They delete bad reviews off of their page.

The biggest thing I like about BWSS is the customer service! In spite of the fact that shipping takes time, they ensure that they replied to every email I sent and kept me updated. I ordered the 52lb adjustable dumbbells and they are sweet.
Another instance, I ordered the bench a few days ago but the next day, I decided to cancel the order (it was more of an impulsive buy). They ensured that they cancelled it and issued a refund. Very kind of them.!

Even during the most challenging time for small business, BWSS Fit has come through with outstanding customer service, always responding quickly and confidently (even proactively) to the status of my order and then post-delivery. I could have chosen numerous sellers to order home weights from, but I went with BWSS based on the personal feedback from others who had ordered. I, too, found their communication superb. And the weights are as promised! Kudos to BWSS support and ownership for doing the right things.

I have been waiting since October 20th for my shipment. (It's January 4th today). I want to believe the best, but I'm really starting to feel like I was scammed. Really sucks.

First of all i love these dumbbells and they are exactly like what i was hoping they would be and not some China knock off. With all the Covid bs we are dealing with there are going to be delays, even more so since these are getting shipping from (Communist)California. This is a small business and they are honest people and give you straight forward answers as to what the delay is. This is the only package you've had delayed this year and it won't be the last as long as our world is turned upside down. Their communication was good throughout and I got my questions answered, of course it took extra time to get shipped to me but they even tell you to expect that when you are completing your order. I would buy from this company again even if there was another one out there saying they would send it faster because these are the people like you and me who are making ends meet and weather this storm we are in. At no point and time did I question if the product was ever coming thanks to their follow up. Long story short I am very happy with my purchase and will use them again and refer people to them. If you're beyond needy, unreasonable and incapable of being understanding of the issues we all are affected by one way or another don't waste these peoples time. Otherwise I think everyone should buy from BWSS.

I ordered adjustable dumbells on November 1. The price was $579 with tax. The estimated shipping time was 2 to 4 weeks. I got a notification that they were having trouble with shipping with UPS and they were moving to a new location. When on contacted them I was told my weights would ship out the next day. They even created a UPS tracking number. When I put the number in the to the UPS package tracking site it showed that a label had been created, nothing more. I have been checking with UPS on a daily basis for a week now, nothing but a label. It has now been 9 weeks since I placed my order. It is clear that BWSS has sold products that they don't actually have in inventory. They are playing a game: booking sales for products they don't have and stringing the customer along for as long as possible. These dumbells were supposed to be a Christmas present for my kids. I guess I was the dumbell for ordering with BWSS Fit.

Ordered the adjustable dumbbell set. Delivery was slightly longer than expected but was not the companies fault. Minor cosmetic issue with a plastic vanity cap. Otherwise perfect set. Very compact.

BWSS's customer support is terrible. The product I ordered came damaged. They acknowledge that this happens a lot, blamed it completly on the shipping company, and said I needed to settle it with them. After that proved to be a dead end, BWSS kept passing me back and forth between two people, Kira and Sarah, who each clearly didn't even bother reading the email thread and offered absolutely no help. They gave me the run around until I just gave up. Their products aren't unique, I suggest ordering from any other company.

4/17/2021 Update: I eventually gave up on these due to the inconsistent performance issues. I continued to have issues with the adjustment precision and certain neighboring plates lifting off and falling back down on the base when I lifted the bar, even if the plates were not locked to the bar. Twice I had locked in plates fall off the bar mid exercise -- likely no injuries. When a plate falls off, it is a process to get it back on the bar because the locking mechanism will not move while off the base and you can't put it on the base to get it back on. Exchanged a few communications with them but they could do nothing so essentially this was an epic fail for my workouts and for my wallet.

ORIGINAL: For their fairly regular communication of shipping updates (or rather, continued shipping delays), I give them 3 stars. It took 2 months for my shipment to arrive but I was in no hurry to get my adjustable dumbbells (52.5 lbs each). However, excitement turned into disappointment as I realized the quality of the dumbbells are very poor. The dials to adjust the weights are not precise and some of the individual weight plates don't stay in the holder when picking up the dumbbell. It is such a shame because I had high hopes for these. While they may be less expensive than the bigger name brands, they are a significant step down in quality from other (not brand name) pairs I have used and owned. Perhaps their other equipment is better but the 52.5lb adjustable dumbbells are a waste of money.

I purchased adjustable dumbbells which, through no fault of BWSS, were defective. After two attempts at replacing the product, I was given a full refund. They responded quickly to my emails and I would definitely shop there again.

Your e-mail response I have to say is the only good thing you have going for you. The bad part is your original shipping ETA is beyond disappointing. I decided to spend my hard earned money with you because of your 2-4 week shipping eta versus going with a competitor. I feel like I have been strung along for week and week and month after month rather than given a realistic ETA. I am now on Week 14 of waiting and my order 9/17 that has been pending shipping since 11/23. I never write reviews for anyone, ever, but I am so upset that I am debating contacting the BBB. This is by far my worst online shopping experience ever and I am just saddened that I haven’t been able to workout for months and now I realize I won’t be able to until after Christmas. Here’s hoping I’ll get them in 2021.

Ordered the adjustable dumbbell set. The quality is significantly lower than the Bowflex model of the same design. The dials do not turn as precisely and the build quality is not nearly as good. I wrote to the customer support channel and while they initially replied, they have since stopped responding. Not good.

Good quality weights. 2.5 pound intervals are convenient. Easy to adjust. Got them for my wife who likes to work out at home.

Thanks for the adjustable weight sets. Exactly as advertised and work fine. Identical to Bowflex with out their brand on it and the cost was way down.

The adjustment is not smooth and while changing weights sometime the adjustor gets stuck

Was really surprised how quickly the order came, and they were just what I ordered. I had a rack for them that I purchased years ago, and once that was together, the weights just dropped into place!

Order ended up arriving more quickly than expected. Communication around when that would be was a little inconsistent with all of the delays going on, but communication was frequent nonetheless and I appreciated that.

Have been waiting 16+ weeks on an order that originally stated a 4 week delivery time. Understand the difficulties with shipping but am tired of being promised delivery “soon” week after week.

Very disappointed. The weights took over a month to get here. I understand covid and would have been fine but when I received them the weights are hard to switch to the different weight size and now one of the weights section will not change the weights so it’s broken. I have only had them for three weeks.

Wouldn't order anything again, 4-6 weeks delivery turned into 11.
All I got what excuses blaming the shipping company, not my issue, that's your issue and you should fix it. I got a sports equipment delivery in four days, in December! They've figured out, you should too.
Ordered Oct 1st, arrived today, Dec 19th.
