They came out within an hour of me calling them. The engineer knew what the problem was straight away and turned the gas off. He gave us a hot plate because we couldn't use our cooker. He was very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the service.

Very unprofessional company with very rude employees. Also very poor customer response to complaints, dismissing complaint without any real investigation or explanation!
Extremely rude, discriminatory and aggressive Cadent employee entered my property without identifying himself or providing any kind of ID when requested to do so!
He was extremely rude throughout the time he was in my property for no reason whatsoever, muttering and making comments as he walked through the house with no provocation or any conversation. Had to be asked to leave property as refused to simply move a couple of items to access meter! After this he was asked to leave the property as his behaviour was totally unprofessional/discriminatory in nature. He threatened to leave property without a gas supply as he was leaving and displayed aggressive/threatening behaviour when challenged as why he was behaving in that manner!
Avoid this company at all costs and if you value your safety or sanity!

The gentleman who came I think his name was Jaray was very helpful. He found where the gas was leaking and taught me how to turn the gas off as there was a switch underneath the hob that I did not know of. Highly recommend this man and his company 'Cadent'.

Shocking organisation rude aggressive behaviour poor communication lacked respect coming into my home. Be careful when they are in your area as the attitude is very much couldn't care less about households, an approach based on a feeling that they feel untouchable
UPDATE - Already in contact with your customer care team (Eastern) sent them video of the damage to my carpet and raised a formal complaint, unsurprising no further update

After discovering a leak and reporting it all engineers arrived very quickly and secured the leak. They were all pleasant and very helpful and made us feel at ease with how worried we were.

We had to call cadent for emergency call out, as out cooker wasn’t reinstalled properly, gas had been leaking all day, I don’t notice until my daughter got home and smelt it.
They were out in 55mins, the male on the phone told me how to turn the gas off.
The male (Tej) that showed up was brilliant! Friendly, empathetic and genuine guy. He tried everything to sort my cooker out to. And left us an electric hob to cook with.

The response to the request for help was quick, no waiting for hours. The workman was polite and efficient explaining what he was doing. He also checked other areas of the gas system for safety. He spotted something that will need attention in the future, telling me that Cadent would be in touch in the near future to make an appointment to rectify the situation.

I called to report a possible gas leak around 0730, by 0830 the engineer arrived. Explained everything, thoroughly checked whole area. Found the leak, inside manhole. Fixed the leak very quickly, but he was not happy with just fixing it. He called for assistance and an hour later another engineer came and completely remade the pipe work in the manhole. Perfect service throughout, thank you.
