I Can't recommend Samantha highly enough, her course in a group is amazing with valuable knowledge and information for everything you might need to know about pregnancy, birth, new motherhood, and navigating the system for your best birth.
Sam's group calls are brilliant and insightful, if you buy anything from her there is wonderful communication and swift delivery.
I have talked to Sam on a couple of occasions via messages or video calls and I am truly struck by her kindness, but also her ability to advocate for women at such an important time in their lives.
I urge anyone preparing for a birth, be that the mother, partner, doula or midwife to look up Sam on any of her platforms and take on all the information she has, you will be enlightened and empowered to have the best birth you can.

Sam is a fantastic person and incredibly knowledgable. She is the perfect person to call up and discuss any problem with as she has years and years of experience and is not ego-led at all. This means she really is able to listen and offer insights that come from understanding and empathy. She embraces her power as a wise elder and it is always such a positive talking to her that I come away completely reset and uplifted.

Sam’s home birth group and freebirth course in a group are essential if you want a safe and healthy birth. Even (especially) if you are planning to give birth in hospital. Without her providing this incredible resource I would not have had the amazing birth that I did in April. Thank you, Sam :)

Sam was very kind, understanding and reassuring. She has a wealth of knowledge and really helps reassure you and arm you with information to help you make your own decisions whilst not pushing any thoughts or beliefs on to you.

I purchased the affirmation cards and the sacred pregnancy colouring set, after a stay in hospital recently at 32 weeks these honestly got me through it! I used the affirmations to help me stay calm and the colouring helped take my mind of where I was and connect with baby. After a traumatic birth with my first child I decided to have an hour chat with Sam. She was kind and knowledgable and listened to my views and wants and helped me to feel supported to make choices for my next birth. I went in with much better knowledge and confidence to enable me to have a calmer birth and a positive breastfeeding journey. I was a little nervous to use Sam as she is known as the home birth doula and I definitely wanted a hospital birth but Sam listened and respected my choices allowing me to have a positive hospital experience. I cannot give enough thanks to Sam for how powerful my 1 hour “chat with Sam” was. I was in a difficult place because of life events whilst also looking to have a positive birth experience for my, then, current pregnancy. Sam’s wisdom for all areas of parenting, life, pregnancy and birth is such an immense blessing to women and the chat was exactly what I needed to feel validated in what was going on and empowered to fight for the birth I wanted. Because of this chat I achieved a euphoric home birth, totally hands off, no VEs, just me following and trusting my body. Unlike my second traumatic hospital birth where I ended with a bad third degree tear and 2.3l blood loss, for my beautiful home birth I lost only 300ml blood and only had a graze. I would highly recommend a chat with Sam for anyone who just needs to feel seen, heard and have wisdom imparted about any area of life, parenthood and birth.

Sam was a breath of fresh air. I’d struggled through my pregnancy with a lack of support for my intended home birth by the midwives; lied to and coerced for extra (unnecessary) testing and made to feel I was making bad choices. I knew what they were doing was wrong but their comments shook my confidence. I booked a chat with Sam and we worked through each niggle - mainly seeds of doubt planted by the midwives and completely unfounded! She reassured me but was honest about risks and our choices. I left the chat confident in my choice to home birth, understanding the risks fully and approaches to overcome issues that might arise. I felt empowered, happy and excited again about the arrival of baby. We laboured at home; I confidently protected my birth space without conflict and baby arrived safe and healthy after just 3hrs from first twinge with a surprised team of midwives (who only just arrived in time) at how easy it had been. No tears, PPH or negative impacts to mum or baby and I swear down to my confidence and understanding. Truly worth her weight in gold! Sam has a calming way about her and is honest whilst still being careful of feelings. I highly recommend everyone have a chat with Sam!!

Sam has always been responsive and helpful and I have always found her groups supportive.

I joined Sam's directory for birthworkers about a year ago and have just renewed my membership - it's a brilliant resource for finding doulas, antenatal teachers, infant feeding specialists etc. The best bit is that Sam actively promotes the directory to the members of her community who are all highly motivated to achieve the birth and infant feeding experience that's right for them - I love working with people who value their autonomy and question everything!

So pleased with the affirmation cards I received from Samantha, they are just perfect for my set up at home! Such a great variety of cards and presented beautifully, couldn't have been happier.

If it wasn’t for Sam’s wonderful & safe community she has built online I would never have experienced just how magical birth can be. My first 3 births were all generic, do as I’m told , just another number on a ward. Although I’m very fortunate to have come away with perfect & healthy babies, I always felt I had missed something. Sam’s groups helped me find that magic I was missing. She filled me with so much power, confidence and information you just don’t get when you’re part of the “machine”. I’ll forever be grateful to her and the village she and built.

Samantha supported me with advice, guidance and a listening ear through my pregnancy and coming to terms with adjusting from a planned home birth to an early induced hospital birth. Through video calls and support from her online group I felt held and like I had a knowledgeable friend by my side. She continues to this day to make me feel supported in my parenting choices.
