Call Assist Reviews 

We had an incident which left us stranded by the side of the A5. We made the call to the Call Assist Vehicle Rescue. It was answered promptly and was dealt with efficiently and pleasantly. The speaker was clear and understandable- very important for me as I do not hear well. I was very impressed by the number of times they phoned during the wait for the rescue vehicle to arrive, not only to my phone but also to my husband's phone. The whole process was very reassuring and helpful. When the man arrived with the vehicle he took us and the vehicle all the way to where we had asked to go with minimum of fuss and much care and reassurance. Excellent experience in a difficult situation especially considering our ages, both in our late 70s. Thank you!

I booked a recovery from 4 to 6pm and was told it wasn't an issue as its a 24 hour service and you can pick any time. On the day of recovery at 4.20pm I received a call to say they couldn't pick up my car that day or until 10am the next day. I made it clear that I needed it to be delivered for an appointment at 8.45am and after multiple calls and them offering to leave my car outside the garage barrier overnight and leave my keys somewhere nearby (seriously.), I was told it would be collected between 6.30am and 8.30am. I then received a text that morning to say it's moved to 11am. This is not a 24 hour service and I have now missed my appointment at the garage. I've been lied to about times being updated and not been accurately informed of your capabilities as a "24 hour service". My car is now off the road for an additional 3 days due to the weekend, and that is presuming the garage can now fit it in on a different day. I was informed by their team that they have less than 10 operators in Scotland and they don't like to travel more than 20 miles outside of Glasgow. So if you live in Scotland, save your time, energy and money and use a different company.

Great service the technician managed to start my completely dead van. And thoroughly tested the battery before recommending a suitable supplier to replace it.

Burrows recovery arrived in around an hour. Although it was only a flat on the van, the guy was professional and got me going in fifteen minutes. Easy to contact, and great app which tracks your mechanics arrival time.

Mechanic came quickly and diagnosed problem. Flat battery in key fob.
Second key brought from home. Car started.
I put new battery in the fob and now all good.

Had a fantastic service, could not fault the time I waited or the crew that attended. My only critique would be that I had to report online first. It wasn’t good when your on a smart motorway, freezing cold and scared. I’d much rather speak to an advisor to get help. Other than that excellent service with regular welfare checks. Would recommend.

Fantastic service.
I completed the simple online form once directed by text from my initial call.
Got an eta for arrival of breakdown operative within minutes and the eta was within 45 minutes.
Breakdown operative arrived ahead of time and an added bonus I was able to track him via the link sent to me.
He loaded my vehicle onto the truck and delivered it to my local garage all within 20 minutes.

Finished work Friday evening and car wouldn't start - EV6 12 volt battery error. Just wanted to get home, so agreed to pay the £121 call out fee.
The guy turned up in a pickup truck with no tools, just a battery charger and said "I don't know much about electric vehicles" - I feared the worst.....
After about 40 minutes of trying the charger with no diagnostics he said "I can't fix this".
My wife picked me up......
Why would you allocate a job to a company that can't provide a break down vehicle with tools, equipment, spare batteries etc? EV knowledge?
Complained to customer services, only to be told they don't guarantee repair. I explained I understand that, but you need to have the tools and equipment to try and repair!

After completing the online form I was notified of estimated time of arrival of the operative. Connor, the young operative, arrived soon after and promptly jump-started my car - twice because of the state of the car battery. He ensured I got safely to my local car repairer where I soon received a brand new car battery. I cannot praise Connor and this Call-Assist enough for the courteous, professional and reassuring help provided. Thank you so much!

The mechanic arrived about 30 minutes after the call for help. He diagnosed the fault quickly and got the car running again straight away. He explained what the problem was and was helpful throughout.

Good once responded to online form which was difficult to process /submit due connectivity issues - broke down in country area, limited access. Delay in getting to me but breakdown operator efficient + helpful

They are very helpful because when I needed their help they were right on time didn't waste any time they managed to get on time. The experience was great and it was easy.

Very professional and speedy in responding.

My car was damaged when being recovered by them. Large dent on front of car. They did not inform me of damage and then my keys went "missing" for several days. I went to pick car up from my garage after several days and saw the damage. Took six weeks to investigate the claim. The keys were miraculously found at the last minute ! They refused to replace the keys until they had investigated at first even though their recovery agent had lost them. Offered to fix damage on car after six weeks by towing to a town 30 miles away. Car was drivable. I phoned them and they said they were just checking if I was "amenable" to this even though they told me it was final decision letter ! Eventually fixed locally with a company car for me. Do not use these guys. Start rescue use their services. The customer service team were friendly and polite / helpful but any problems the claims dept are not and just want rid of you

Fixed my car at home with no fusss

Quickly answered my call and Comfort called me regularly to make sure I was ok as I was on my own. Very efficient service. Regular updates on when help was arriving. Only took just over an hour for help to arrive to transport myself and my car to my nominated garage and then dropped me home(live near garage.)
Could not fault their response and was very impressed with their customer service. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a cut on my front of side tyre on a early Sunday morning. The customer service was great and the response time was quick, less than an hour. The recovery recommended me a good garage, after the one I initially had looked up was actually closed. The recommended garage gave me a good deal on the trye.
I highly recommend
