We truly belive that your agents haven't bean on hte trail for a long time. SOme of the properties are tired and worn out. We actually had a property with rusty showers and sinks. THere are more offerings on the Camino that can be more quaint and pilgrim like instead of tour bus like. We had two incidents where our reservatio wan't were we were told. THe problem was resolved after 1 1/2 hours.

The accommodations curated by Camino Ways are exceptional, especially the one in Arcade. After a long day of trekking, it was lovely to settle to clean, comfortable rooms and a delicious yummy dinner. The reception at the hotels was hospitable and English speaking.

It is the second time that I used Caminoways to arrange caminos walks for me. The communication before the trip with the Camino team was excellent and I all my queries was quickly replied to (especially the assistance from Isabella which was great) Although I was able to communicate with Caminoways during the walk, there was no need as everything was very well arranged.
Accomodation: Besides one place (a bit sub standard) that I stayed in, all the others was nicely situated. I also opted for luggage transfer, which was excellent. No where did I had to with for it.
I will use Caminoways again if I would consider another camino.

Reliable and mostly very good accommodation

The booking process was clear and simple. The arrangements on the Camino worked well - there were no issues. There was useful additional information provided on the website. There was noticeable variation in the quality of accommodation and meals provided along our route, but we were told to expect this.

Clean great facilities well organized no problems I would use it again

Camino Ways planned an absolutely perfect, seamless trip. We came into the Camino a little nervous and unsure what to expect, and all of the planning, logistics, and coordinating from Camino Ways allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in simply walking the path. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone considering the Camino! Every hotel was excellent. The luggage transfer was truly seamless. And the customer service was very clear and communicative. I will absolutely use Camino Ways again when I do my next Camino.

I've used CaminoWays on three occasions, and each one was faultless. Their communication is great, relevant information provided in a timely manner, and most of all...a Pilgrim/hiker can have confidence that the selected accommodation will be ideal for the Camino -- close to the Path, clean, friendly, relatively comfortable and safe.

2nd time using service, all places that i was booked in were great standard,all hosts friendly and food was lovely , baggage service top class and any issues quickly sorted on whats app, excellent service will use again

We had a wonderful experience working with Camino Ways! The coordination and communication throughout the entire process were excellent, especially considering we were traveling with a large group of 30 people. Managing a group of that size comes with a lot of moving parts, and we felt very supported and well taken care of throughout our journey.

The one area we would have liked to see handled differently was the included dinners. At a few locations, dinner was predetermined and a plate of food was simply brought out to each guest without a menu or an opportunity to choose what they would like. Although we had submitted dietary restrictions and allergies ahead of time, this style of dining felt a little unusual, and several members of our group were disappointed not to have any choice in their meal.

For future groups, especially larger ones, we would love to see either a limited menu with a few options to choose from or more flexibility around the included dinners.

Overall, though, Camino Ways did a fantastic job organizing our trip. Their communication, coordination, and support made traveling with such a large group so much easier, and we truly appreciated all the work that went into making our Camino experience run smoothly!

The Hotel in Rome was not up to your usual standard, in fact it was a disgrace hence the reason we found alternative accommodation.

Great organization

Everything went according to plan. (Porto Costal / Spiritual Variant). My daughters joined me in Baiona, which added to the planning complexity. Not having to do the detailed setup of the stays and baggage transfers removed a lot of planning work and let me focus on enjoying the journey. Buen Camino!

Structure of your service is very good. Could inform clients better from the outset, were inconsistencies around luggage within our group.

All of the accommodations and dining were outstanding. There were some detail miscues regarding some of the bookings but they were resolved and did not cause any big problems.

The whole trip was so much more than I could have hoped for! Our guide, Mark, was fabulous. You could tell he really enjoys what he does and was so excited to share his knowledge with our group. He went above and beyond when it came to socializing with the group, providing daily walk information, recommending places to stop, and helping us get our certificates in Santiago. I really couldn't have asked for a better guide for this adventure! The hotels that were arranged for us were all great and places I would recommend to anyone traveling to these areas. The luggage service was amazing, and we didn't have a single issue. The nightly dinners were at places that all had wonderful food and fantastic service. I would definitely use Camino Ways again and can't say enough good things about my experience!

We did the Camino del Norte route and did speak with Camino Ways reps about this. They said it was fine for mountain biking. Maybe if you are an expert mountain biker and we told them we were NOT. There were no other bikers. The “gentle rolling hills” as described on Day 1 description is not true! There are steep ascents and descents with rocks and deep ruts! And we were told by walkers that Day 2 was even harder. The entryway for the trail in San Sebastián had a metal gate that did not allow bikes to get through. We had to lift the heavy mountain bikes over and this should have been our first clue that we should not bike this trail. Shame on us for not doing our research and just trusting the Camino Ways reps who apparently just want to sell their package tour.
