We booked from overseas, the whole process was transparent and smooth. Staff at Montreal office were very friendly, the RV was just great, very comptable.
Maybe one improvement area : the coffe machine and few other kitchen tools could have been of better quality.
Else it was perfect.

We rented a class B for a week from Montreal and people were nice. The per night cost was expensive enough, then with all the additional charges it became outrageous. It added up to about $600 per night plus gas plus camping fees. There was even a $350 cleaning fee up front because we brought our miniature poodle with us! I now know other outfits charge $150 max. Yes we still went with it, for the experience .
In spite of the elaborate online process, we had to ask again in person for the cutlery kit and linen that were not in the van at pickup. Even at the premium price we found the sliding door accordion bug screen non usable from get go. No bug screen in July, in Canada… really? The reading lights didn’t work either. Truck ran fine, though.
We had a great vacation in spite of all the issues and costs. but for that kind of money I expected no problems and five star hotels are probably in that price range!
We may try another camper rental next summer elsewhere, but we’ll be doing more shopping around with other outfits, including Outdoorsy, etc.

I find it a bit poor to charge 80 KM over limit when I paid already for 800km more.

I am very satisfied with Canadream. The RV was perfect. Check-in went very quickly and everything was clear. Also when we returned the RV it went well and quickly. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

All things prepared and additional items available prior to pick-up. Full oral explanation at additional costs were well spent especially as a first-timer. RV clean and ready for use.

The vehicle handover was not good - the staff apologized that the vehicle was not received correctly so that we had to document the damage. The staff did not inform us that the awning was not usable - that was very bad.

Our good experience started with your service representative who greeted us with kindness and patience. And the nice girl who made an effort and found us new kitchen utensils. The trailer was very well equipped, comfortable and practical. The only thing that was problematic was that the air conditioner did not work. We will definitely come back to you again in the future.

Our vacation was wonderful but got off to a rocky start. When we picked up the camper one of the tires were very low. The manager said not to worry about it and just pumped it back up. Fortunately a mechanic decided to test it and it had a major leak that needed to be repaired. We only left about 90 minutes late but I thought our compensation should have been more than “ok to return it late” when we already had our drop off time scheduled in order to get back home in time

This was my 2nd trip with CANADREAM to go to PEI. First time was with 2 person camper van and this time with 6 person Maxi RV. AMAZING customer service on the phone, on internet chat and in person at Mirabel office. Very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable prices....the camper was spic and span and ready.

Nice and helpful staff. A few things wrong with the camper, but they were resolved immediately. Very nice camper (SVC medium) with bed slide out. Mattress good quality and 150 wide!

Wonderful RV holiday travelling one-way from Montreal to Niagara and Toronto. Overall experience with Canadream was positive - they definitely organise things well.
As a Brit who has never been to Canada before, I would have appreciated more insight in advance on the types/categories of campgrounds and what to look for on their websites. For example, the private grounds are quite different from the ones run by the Parks authorities in each state. There are further differences in private campgrounds - some have a small area for RV visitors and are more focused on permanent residents, others are focused on temporary visitors. This meant that I was a bit in the dark about which grounds we might book in advance, and would probably have chosen differently for a couple of nights.
Some information in advance on driving in Canada would have been helpful too for international visitors. I am awaiting a bill for driving on Highway 407 which I discovered as I turned onto it that it is a toll road. I wasn't aware that Canada has toll roads, and making last minute adjustments to planned routes is challenging in an RV. Goodness knows how much this might cost me!
A few Canadream extras seem expensive. The Solis wifi only works where there is a mobile signal (contrary to what I was told by the rep) so it is pretty pointless as the data is so expensive. Cheaper for everyone to hotspot onto one person's phone.
The folding camping chairs are $14 each for a week which seems alot considering the price of a new one.
Also our grey and black tanks seemed to fill up very quickly, even when we knew we had put hardly anything down them. On drop-off this was explained as "probably a sensor problem, sometimes a bit of toilet paper gets stuck on the sensor..." That is all fine, but it is frustrating to only be given 3x toilet chemicals for an 8 night trip when it is a known issue. We had to empty our black tank 5 times so had to buy extra chemicals (which were difficult to find a stockist for until someone told us to go to Canadian Tire) - even though I did ask at collection for more.
And finally, I was surprised that there was such little ability to strap down some of the cupboard contents like crockery and glassware. This meant that every time we went over an uneven stretch of road there was a terrible rattle from all the crockery (there are bumpy sections on even the busiest roads). Seems to me that the RV community could learn from the yachting fraternity who usually have the ability to strap down these kind of loose items.
Overall a fun holiday.

Really nice brand new RV. We drove one way from Montreal to Halifax and enjoyed the whole experience. This was our second time renting from Canadream and both times we've had excellent service.
