From my initial query about the car, the experience was very good however I queried why the car was only sold with one key when normally most cars are sold with two, we had this car under the motability scheme until October last year and when handed back had two keys however one of the keys was "missing" when purchased, when I spoke to Car Planet they said the price of the car reflected the one key? I initially enquired via WhatsApp and email but didnt get a response but this slight shouldn't detract from the purchasing experience

Horrible service ! After you purchase the car you are on your own , no answer to the phones and if you reach them they send you from a department to another , after we purchase the car they are saying will send you full service history home , we never received , they are just laying you and when you ask about tracking number end of conversation , I been back to office and they laying again saying if they mail us the service history , but as you expect never received, they blame Royal Mail but they don’t have any proof of sending , KR69EEM , I will take further action against them , because we paid for something what car don’t have and wideout services history the value of the car it’s much lower , bad experience look for better company to get a car not this layers , customer service very bad , staff even worse

Absolutely flabbergasted how a company can sell a car with barely legal road tyre. I bought a Lexus UX, took it for a test drive and was happy with the performance. I paid in full. I picked up the car mid may a week later, with my cousin who happens to be a Kwik Fit manager. After receiving the keys we noticed the front driver side tyre was damaged and low on thread. I raised this point with the sales guys in front of the building and they said i should talk to the aftersales team. I checked the service book which was left in the car during the sales process, and saw that the same tyre was on a red warning and said Requires Immediate Attention. The aftersales team called me a few days later and i voiced my frustration at having to now buy a new runflat tyre. The like for like tyre was £150 so i bought two as the passenger side was on an amber warning. I requested that the driver side tyre be reimbursed by CarPlanet. After a while i was then contacted by Sababa (this is no reflection on her, this is the company. Sababa was helpful) in aftersales, who asked me to send a screenshot of the service doc and photos of the tyre, so i did. I waited, then sometime over a few weeks later was asked to send a copy of the tyre invoice. I did. I was then told the person could not offer a reimbursement without approval from a manager. I waited, I then get an email today stating that the tyre was satisfactory and that i didnt seek prior authorisation before buying the tyre.
Clearly these lot must live on Car Planet, because that decision is completely out of this world. Why the hell does the owner of the vehicle have to seek prior permission to replace a barely legal tyre on a car they sold. The service book was withheld until after the sale and so i had no prior knowledge of the worn tyre. Also, to call the tyre satisfactory when it is red flagged and requiring immediate attention is horrendous. Amber, yes, but not Red.
Will never ever recommend this company, and its a shame because the salesman was quite a nice man but unfortunately i favour my life over a company that dont care about their customers. 4 weeks it has taken to get to this point. What a waste of time and energy. Awful and shocking experience.

Great service. Everyone I spoke with was professional and helpful.
Only quibble was that the car was delivered with literally zero fuel in it. 0 miles range and fuel light flashing. It would have been nice to have had 10 miles or so worth to get to a filling station.

I had a good level of service until they had my money. I tried to locate the locking wheel nuts, emailed sent a WhatsApp and rang. No answer and was cut off on my phone conversation. Beware of the expensive warranty they want to sell you too!

Bought a car yesterday and got it home to find no locking wheel nuts. Emailed, whatsapped and called and just got cut off or didn’t get a response. After sales is absolutely non existent. They are also very pushy on the very expensive warranty purchase.

Hi Jo,
I see you noticed the scam. They don't check these vehicles, will sell you a faulty/damaged vehicle, then try to make you accept there cheap nasty fix with there cheap knock off parts trapping you into the vehicle after they have ignored you and ghosted you. I'm surprised they didn't try to blame you for the damage.
Be warned you are probably in for a 3 month ordeal. I would also recommend contacting the police as it is a criminal offence to sell an unsafe vehicle.
It's crazy that they expect you to keep the unsafe vehicle they sold you.
I wouldn't trust this company carrying out any repairs. Do not accept any repairs! Demand your money back!
I see the owners reply. I have the call logs, the emails that back up my review that you ignore and ghost customers. They do not follow the Consumer rights act, again I can prove this. My finance company also has had trouble with getting ignored and ghosted from this company.
I can't believe he wrote that nonsense, every single 1star review talks about a clear pattern of ignoring customers, not being cooperative, denying peoples rights to return faulty vehicles.
If you are a potential future customer, just call there aftercare department before you purchase to see if you can get talking to anyone in aftercare. You'll see everyone is telling the truth

Since posting this, Car Planet’s aftersales team (Sababa) has now explicitly admitted in writing that their internal inspection found the vehicle requires a brand-new nearside front strut and top mount. Despite this written proof of immediate major mechanical failure immediately leaving the forecourt after closing hours, they are still trying to illegally block my Short-Term Right to Reject under the Consumer Rights Act, attempting to trap me into a warranty repair I have explicitly declined.
Furthermore, Car Planet heavily advertises a strict "150-point inspection check" on their vehicles before sale. This is a complete lie. They completely failed to provide any actual pre-delivery inspection checklist or paperwork of their own.
Instead, they just lazily relied on the car's previous service history from Howards Citroen to pass it off as safe, completely missing a major, dangerous suspension defect before handing the keys to a family.
Worse still, their administrative incompetence is shocking, they completely failed to transfer ownership correctly with the DVLA and only disclosed this hours after the sale during the handover of the keys.
Black Horse finance has now been issued a bulletproof evidence file including the dealer's written admission of the fault, the mileage history, and the data breaches. I am completely washing my hands of this dangerous vehicle and this untrustworthy dealership. Do not buy a car from here!!

We bought a car on the 1st of June and the person who was the sales was named Angel. We got the car delivered to our house on the 2nd of June however the next day on the screen it is shown on the display as the car is faulty. We tried calling them about it, each day we were trying to call them around 20 times however they either don’t answer the phone or they leave us hanging. Before we bought the car they used to call 5 times a day, however once we bought it they are not responding at all. Also a normal process when buying a car is that they are meant to give a keeper slip however they didn’t give that to us and didn’t give us a logbook either as apparently it was in the storage room. I’m asking for a refund and they are not moving forward with that request even though clearly on the policy it says we can change cars if we are unhappy with it when within 14 days, hasn’t even been a week for us but not responding well.
