This is a review for their cafe Merriments
This is a review for their cafe. My granddaughter and myself just had the most delicious roast. The food was hot and cooked to our tastes, plenty of different vegetables, plus crispy roast potatoes, the meat cooked perfectly with proper gravy. The staff were very friendly and polite. We will definitely return and tell friends of our experience.
Speak as I find
I shall speak as I find. I have to say that I was taken aback by some of the reviews here which are not very pretty, surprised too, as our experience from beginning to end was very positive. We have bought a new [2025] Bailey Pegasus GT75, Andrew Wilson being the sales person who dealt with us. Ok, we were cash buyers so there was every reason for the dealership to be positive with us, but we needed to delay completion for a few weeks which was fine by them. The van was delivered and parked perfectly on time to Norfolk by a very helpful and civil driver. The product itself is great too, so there we are. Two very satisfied customers! I suppose the proof of the pudding will be if something goes wrong and how that is dealt with. But it's a long way down from Norfolk so I rather think Caravan Tech do not need to worry!

Very helpful and very efficient!
Ben came out to my caravan at late notice to ensure the running gear was fine as I had to tow the van home from my seasonal pitch and due to health problems had not managed to get it serviced for the last two years.
Having noted prior reviews I was very pleased to see Ben on site when I arrived and he did a very thorough job giving me peace of mind for the homeward journey. Will certainly use him again.
We bought our new Bailey Cabrera from…
We bought our new Bailey Cabrera from Caravan Tech in July this year. We were offered a very low px for our 6 year old Elddis as it had hail stone damage to the roof and we were told Caravan Tech could not put this on their forecourt due to this damage, and would have to sell the caravan through the ‘trade’. We had to bring our Bailey back to their workshops for some warranty work within a month of purchase and found our old Elddis on their forecourt for £16000, I assume still with the hail stone damage. I feel disappointed at our treatment by the sales side of this company. I appreciate they need to make a profit but do not like being taking advantage of as we had paid a £1000 deposit for the Bailey and were told we would lose this if we didn’t go ahead with the purchase of the new caravan.
I would add that the workshop staff have been great and very helpful at all times and sorted out the warranty work quickly for us.
Offended us for no reason
My husband and I visited on 27/8 looking to purchase our first towing caravan after years of owning statics. We found the guy who spoke us to be quite offensive. We advised we considered buying the Lusso but wanted to purchase a cheap one under £20k to try before we make such a big investment. He didn’t listen and said well you can’t afford a lusso with that budget, maybe shake the tin and see if more coins fall out. He then proceeded to say why don’t you look at these 2 smaller vans that you don’t need an expensive car to tow.
How extremely rude. Firstly we can afford the lusso, and we have a discovery, so maybe be more observant before you make snap judgements. But that aside all people should be treated equal regardless of budget. I Would never buy from them, and would recommend unless you’re rich don’t bother with going to see them, They will just be rude and tell you you can’t afford it without asking questions. We purchased elsewhere 2 days later so their loss really.
Stay clear of this bunch
Well what an experience with this bunch
Place a small order for items they had for sale only to get email after I paid to be told we don’t actually have any but would be getting following week.
I pointed out the braking law selling items they don’t have.
To cancel was my only recourse that was 7 working days ago still no money back.
Stay well clear of this company lucky for me it was not much money I would be well gutted if I had paid this company a lot more of my hard earned money.
BE CAREFULL PEOPLE

A really good experience.
A really good experience.
We arrived at Christians caravan center in Rheinfeld on Saturday, July 5, 2025
Erik received us and went through the camper + instruction.
After that we drove 2 weeks to Schwitz and Northern Italy without any problems.
While we were traveling in the camper, our car was at Christians caravan center in a locked area.. and Erik wanted to look after it in the meantime. Good service.

Great service
We needed a replacement dome for our Heki roof vent that blew open and broke in a gale last weekend, before we head off to France in two days time. Caravantech were fantastic - confirming they had the part and dispatching it within a couple of hours, so we had it delivered the next day. It fitted perfectly and only took a few minutes to fit, so all is well again. Thanks for the very fast service.

Absoletey First Class Service. Item as described and great value it was the cheapest out there. When I phoned for an anticipated delivery date I was given Thursday 8th and I said that was fine as I had someone coming to fit it that day. Half an hour later they called me to say to ensure I received the parcel in time they were chanigng to 24 Hour delivery at no extra cost. You dont get this very often these days Well Done for your excellent customer serivce.

Great company
Bought a caravan from them and through no fault of caravan tech it had problems and caravan tech were brilliant in sorting the warranty work out for us. Decided that the caravan wasn’t for us and just part exchanged for a motorhome hopefully this will be no problems. The hand over was great and very informative. They even picked us up from the station (thank you Suzanne)
Would highly recommend
Thank you Richard and your team

Caravan Tech a waste of time and liars.
Visited Caravan Tech to find out about an Adria Twin Max. They didn’t have one on show. Went to the caravan, camping and motorhome show at the NEC in October 2024 to see one. They did not have one on the stand.
Was advised that by Caravan Tech there would be one there in the February 2025 show. Went there today travelling from Kent. Wanted to place an order but wanted to see one before paying out that sort of money. There was not one there. They are just liars, time wasters and cost me fuel and time. Well back to the drawing board. Why would you waste a potential customer’s time and money?
This is how they treat people before they get your money. How do they treat customers after they get your money. Andrew Wilson a top man NOT

Brilliant customer service
We picked up our new caravan last week and couldn’t have asked for better customer service.
We felt at times we were asking too many questions being newbies! But the sales team made us feel at ease and answered everything we wanted to know.
We had a few queries after we picked the caravan up, and the lady on the phone couldn’t have been more helpful (sorry didn’t get a name).
Once again, thank you for all your help. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a new caravan.

Dreadful After Service - Cant even fix a fridge
am so upset. I am almost speechless at how bad this company is. I bought a very expensive to me, Motorhome from Caravan Tech and almost from day 1 the fridge was faulty. Sometimes working but most of the time not. I have had to take it back twice and the first time, got it back to where I was staying, turned the fridge on, and it was beeping. When I rang the workshop, the Manager (yes the manager) of the workshop told me he knew it was beeping and it was a fault with the door. Am I the only one who thinks that is bizarre... and to turn it off so I wouldn't know until I was miles away (or so I believe). I had to take it back a second time, where they promised me it was the PCB (as it was the first time) and it had been replaced with a new one. I don't believe that happened. Anyway, after working for about a week, it stopped again.
Fed up with Caravan Tech, I took it to Reliance Caravans in Chichester. They have looked at it and think it is the PCB but definitely not an electrical fault .. but they don't think the PCB that is in there is by any means a new one as promised by Caravan Tech. I also had to pay Reliance to check it for me. There was also a piece of silicone placed over the speaker for the alarm. Who would do that???
I think the "Tech" part of Caravan Tech is a misnomer. If they can't fix a fridge how could they fix anything else.
I have messaged the MD, Mark Compton, three times over the past three days and guess not... not a dicky bird from him. This is the same man who said I had to clear the whole van before they would look at my fridge again. He knows I couldn't do that and when I have told others about this, they have laughed. So bad.
At the end of the day, I paid a not inconsiderable sum for something that should have been a joy, but having to buy milk every day in the summer was no fun and not having a fridge has ruined the whole experience.
I am also upset that another reviewer said that he took his to a local workshop and Caravan Tech reimbursed him. Something I have never been offered even though I asked. They also refused to send someone to me or even send me spare parts for me to install ie. PCB's. Not even a courtesy car for the day which I know they have. I have been treated so badly, and I don't know why. I dont' know why the chap in the office was so rude to me on one of my visits either.
Their raison d'etre seems to be to spend as little in terms of money and also as little in customer care to match.
Such a bad company run by such bad managers. I would not only not recommend but openly warn people away from them.

⭐️ Over and above! and right ‘on track’! ⭐️
Having found the item I was looking for on the internet, a replacement ceiling track for a door divider, it happened to be this company that had it in stock and at a reasonable price.
I needed clarification it would be suitable for my caravan and submitted an enquiry form. Rachael replied so quickly and advised me it would be ok and also answered my query regarding delivery times.
I ordered the item before 3pm and the next thing I knew it was in the hands of APC and was delivered the next day!
What a refreshing change to deal with a company that cares. In this day and age I find that rare. The APC driver was friendly and professional too.
We are quick to moan and complain and so I always think it’s good to compliment and say thanks when a company provides great service.
From my own experience with Caravan Tech I’d be confident to use them again and recommend them to anyone else.
Thank you Rachael and all at Caravan Tech who processed my order.

Purchased a Vango drive away awning
Purchased a Vango drive away awning. The price was very good and delivery was really quick.
The item I received is sub par and missing fixings
The item I have received is sub par, with rust streaks on it, and poor workmanship (bowing screw holes). Instructions are poor and was not sent the fittings I need to put it together. On phoning the attitude was defensive. No apology. I was told that this is to be expected for a cheap item. £50 isn’t cheap.
Caravan steps are on the whole inexpensive. The moment you need a handrail due to a disability, profiteers charge 4-8 x the price. It is not reasonable to profit on disability. While more affordable, at £50, this step with handrail is still expensive and I expect better quality and better customer service than this.
I won’t be using Caravan Tech again. They have not apologised for the inconvenience it has caused me.
