The worst customer service in the world. Been trying to get access to my account and it’s been blocked and the cc agent has a PhD in annoying you with clipped responses and useless information. Worst !!

Can’t get into site to buy anything

Although I had some good experiences with buying on this website, you should note Carroussel does nothing in case the transaction go0es wrong, in my case because the products are faulty. Worse, they keep the listing offering the same faulty products going. That makes them as bad as the seller. So be very careful using this platform.

Welcome to Carouhell, the digital dungeon where sanity goes to die and common sense is but a distant dream. Honestly, I'm shocked that this site is still in business, and equally flummoxed by the peculiar species known as "Carouhellians" who frequent it.

Let me paint you a picture of the typical Carouhell experience. Imagine you're trying to give away something for free—yes, free—and the sheer audacity of the recipients will leave you questioning humanity. Here’s an actual exchange to illustrate the madness:

Seller: Giving away small flowering plants.

Response: You have curry leaf plants?

Seller: Apologies, no. We're giving away orchids and other flowering plants.

Response: You have Mango Tree?

Seller: No, sorry, we only have orchids and other flowering plants.

Response: You grow one. Easy, lah.

Meanwhile, another Carouhellian chimes in:

Response: Yes, we will take all of your plants. Free, right?

Seller: Yes, free.

Response: You deliver my place today.

Seller: Apologies, we’re unable to deliver.

Response: radio silence

Yes, you read that right. The nerve of these people to not only demand delivery for a free item but to go completely silent when you can't cater to their every whim is beyond belief. It's a place where "buying and selling" takes a back seat to entitlement and unreasonable demands.

I’ve heard most people refer to this site as "Carouhell," and sadly, I must agree. It's a circus of the absurd Where the buyers are clowns and the sellers are the unfortunate ringmasters trying to maintain some semblance of order.

If you enjoy a good laugh at the expense of your own sanity, by all means, dive into the Carouhell experience. Otherwise, steer clear unless you want to be sucked into the vortex of absurdity and frustration.

In summary: Carouhell – where the only thing crazier than the site itself is the people on it. Proceed with caution, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

There are no terms of service for hong kong, so whiçh means all of the users who got suspended, and listings which got removed meaning Carousell was the one who they suspended and removed of listings were not violating the terms? as the terms of service first one on the right hand side is according to the singapore laws, which the terms is not applicable for hong kong users? Also it was not mentioned that particular terms were to apply to hong kong users? And is it legal for Carousell to charge users for services without terms made according to the local laws?

I totally wasn’t satisfied with Carousell apps so very badly! This is the only of my account has suspended in 5 months ago and make an appeal filed to our moderate teams done well.

Now it’s late resolved issues my account has suspended terminated reason one wrong I sell liquor that aren’t wrong even though the our moderate teams pulled rule out of my account.

This is very severe and didn’t work out never resolved it! Whatever our teams are the rule and regulations for one wrongly and torture my account has violated prohibited items (liquor) that are strictly not allowed on our platform only ! They’re dragging me anything went wrong with an alcohol enough one only could recover my account back, right.

They are too our moderate teams attitude mistake was my alcohol are selling ! Don’t stubborn make it wrong result my account has suspended terminated.

I’m innocent and not blame such of the our moderate teams, aren’t educated and haven’t support our country!

The our team has previously sent I was several warnings and enforcement regarding this with consideration but still, constant offences were made.
 

This is outrageous. The teams moderate now say that they know in the end that I am useless and that I am suspended account , yet it does not help to unsuspend my account even through my innocence. Furthermore, they have the audacity to ask me to call in vain and complete their transaction even though it is not my job and I am not involved at all. However they are keeping torture me on account suspended.

They told me to do your work. And they drag me into an issue that doesn't concern me at all.

I have replied to them in the previous email to show that I have cooperated from the beginning. No one has replied to me since then.

This is the last warning I give them to unsuspend my account. They’re loyalty is incorrect and this is considered an unfair practice. I will forward this issue to the appropriate authorities.

I have also shared the exploit and screenshots of this issue publicly to online platforms. Such blatant injustice will not be tolerated.

Don’t expect anything from my account has unresolved issues as suspended terminated!!!

Got scammed of $2000sgd but the scammer manage to continue to sell on the platform and amazingly in the meantime, someone was unhappy with a purchase from me and i had done nothing wrong and my account got banned because buyer was so salty and complained first, this platform is disgusting

Carousel is a place where some cheaters sells their things and carousel don't get involved with the transaction. They allow the transaction to happen on their platform but won't intervene. Never ban the seller even if the seller sells the product which is spoilt. People should just boycott this platform. I think the government should step in and check on the policy of carousel. This is Singapore!

Carousell is still a wild west without safeguards for buyers. My recent search for a fixture installation ended up with all asking for a 'deposit' into private PayNow accounts. For company registered PayNow a full amount is requested. Either way the buyer is at risk of getting scammed. This should be banned and discourage on all sellers.

I open a dispute about the seller send item not as advertised.

The seller even agreed for a return & refund.

But after 5 days, I got an email from Carousell said they already transfer the money to the seller, because I don't open a dispute about the transaction.

The funny thing is, they told about I don't open a dispute, in the same email, as a reply in the email I wrote about my dispute 5 days earlier.

What a clown company this is.

Don't ever trust that Carousell care about their users.

All they care about are money. That's all.

Worst platform & customer support ever!!!

"buyer protection" is legit a waste of time. I got a defect item from the seller and had a open case, the one that handling this matter doesn't give me any solution, because return the item i need the seller to okay with the return( carousel should step in and act but never didnt anything for 2weeks).ive been chasing for solution asking carousel to step in and help but it never happened, ive talked to customer service for 5times all of them said expect to get a reply within 24hours. NOPE I NEVER FOR ANY REPLY regarding the case. Their "buyer protection" is a total BS. Buy anything at your own risk. They will never follow up on your case and your case gonna be open. Should solve within a time frame? All BS mine been open for 2 weeks waiting for return instructions but it never happened. You are on our own. Do not trust their "buyer protection". It means nothing at all and wasting your time daily checking and asking customer service to help!

I’m a potential customer. I searched for a product and a carousell product listing showed up. I was interested to buy that item, so I signed up via “sign up with Google”. And weirdly my account was blocked right away! That’s when I didn’t make a single transaction / post / message! And I was directed to “appeal”, which I did, and the account still remain blocked after 48 hours.

Poor seller - they lost a lead right off the bet.

What a waste of my time. I just shopped for the same item off Amazon. Costed $5 more but at least didn’t go through that hassle.

hire a bunch of robots for customer service. use at own risk as they can come in a lock your account for whatever reason

Never believe carousell, they ask you to join as a business partner then if they found your business earn the money they will grab it and tick you off.
Eg: Cars,Handphone,Luxury Items,Cloths and so on.

My account was terminated when I posted an item for sale. The reason given was: "Carousell's policies and community guidelines were violated."
When I asked what I had done, I was told Carousell "detected patterns of suspicious activities in your account. As a result, your account has been terminated because we believe it presents a risk to our Carousell community."
So, should I concluded that posting an item for sale presents a risk to the Carousell community?

Would give 0* if I could.
Paid for caroubiz and coins, account got suspended the very next morning for no fing reason. Emailed support and after a week account gets unsuspended and they said "We would like to sincerely remind you to keep to the Community Guidelines in future."
So what fing guideline did I violate?

Subsequently few days later got suspended again for no fing reason at all. Emailed them for my fing refund on the useless caroubiz and coins that I paid for and 2 weeks later still no news. Will be escalating to CASE by the end of the week. Fing useless shet platform, will never use it ever again.

Carousell openly allows the peddling of replica stuff and does not respect intellectual property, even though they have a counterfeit policy just for show. Hope they close down soon.

horrible experience on this platform. i sold a couple things on here and one day, my account gets suspended because of scamming when i never did. the support won't do anything at all and im never going to be using this awful application/site.

For all sellers who plan to use Carousell to sell your things, please be aware that Carousell only protect buyers with their words/complaint only. Your account will be suspended and closed anytime without any investigate and did not protect sellers loss and rights at all. Carousell expects you pay all loss to buyers or deal to the buyers until buyer satisfy if not your account will remain closed.

Please take note.
My advise is not to waste your time to use this platform and build your profile here. Your account will simply closed or suspended by Carousell.
