These guys are not honest. They run marketing campaigns to buy their coins and even promised that you could bump them for 10coins/day. It even mentioned clearly on the app too, for each listing. However, after i've purchased the coins bundle, most listings offer only a min. of 30coins/day to bump/spotlight them. Tell me how is that not similar to a scam, except it's done in a more subtle manner.

When i complained to the support agent via live chat, he threatened me for swearing at him. All i said was something like 'Do u think i'm stupid ?' because he kept giving me copy-paste template replies and clearly wasn't bothered to assist. Apparently calling myself stupid is considered swearing for some ! I asked him to show me how have i swore at him. He continued to threaten me and then blocked the chat. I'm now unable to contact or use the support button anymore. Ha ha. Bunch of clowns.

More than 90% negative reviews in the last couple years alone pretty much tells you the whole story doesn't it ? They're going down. It's just a matter of time.

I won't be surprised if they proceed to suspend my account. Guess i'll find out in a day or two.

Their app doesn't work half of the time. When I try to sell an item, it either gets stuck on the picture selection page or just says "something went wrong" and says that it has been saved in the drafts when it has not.
I cannot believe investors think it's a billion dollar app. I would totally use Facebook Marketplace if I had a Facebook account.
They also frequently delete my postings and their support team gives the dumbest reasons. For example, they say the postings are duplicates, remove both and don't let me repost it.

Their policy is BS. Am a victim to fake items. No actions taken by them. I kept asking them what to do but they said nothing. They let the seller keep selling by the name authentic till now!!! Dont trust this platform. They let the crimes take over. Sellers dont even know what authentic means! Customer service is useless

It's full of resellers, very few actual buyers who need the stuff. The resellers will bombard you with offers 80% less than what you offered to then sell it somewhere else and make money on you basically. Not a good app, its a travesty of what the app is meant for....

The scammer issue is easy to fix. Carousell REGISTER BUYERS with ID and phone number and email used for over 6 months. The real buyers will be ok with that and sellers reduced risk. It cost nothing so why are they not doing it?

Ok to start of they were so bias! Even after giving valid evidence they dont protect the seller only buyer. Then when they found out that i actually contacted the other ther party but she did not respond they said they notice ive tried to work thibgs out and they close the case two days later they restricted my account for the same issue. I even called the person but she wont answer or reply any text. She just simple made false claim and cause i wont meet her for coffee thats all. To bug my life she never wanted me to sell on this platform. Honestly carousell if someone as a seller gives u evidence at least validate it dont just ignore. We can go to any other platform to sell too but if we have so many good reviews it shows how we are as sellers. Thats what reviews are for right? If not why have that feature for? Fix your problems guys dont be bias

Lots of bugs (google login) - app on IOS is just as bad and not natively built so it's all a window within a window. When it works, it's OK - clearly there are buyers and sellers. Have managed to sell things in spite of the really poor interface.

I was locked out of my account suddenly while going through deals with buyers. My account was apparently suspended without any notification or warning from them, without any reason when my account has only good reviews and no reports from any buyers. I still have ongoing deals with my buyers and now they are thinking i’m scamming them when it’s not my fault that carousell suddenly suspended me. I tried to contact them and they only got back to me 9 days later after multiple prompts with the live chat agents. They told me I was suspended because another account had unresolved matters when it had nothing to do with me. My phone died outside when I had to do a meetup with a buyer, hence I used my friend’s phone to login. You all should not ban accounts that has no issues, be it linked or unlinked to the account that had unresolved issues. Sometimes it could be because we had to use our friend’s or families’ phones to access our carousell account outside because our phone died during a meetup deal with a buyer. It doesn’t mean that those different accounts belong to the same person. If this is how you all settle this problem, then our whole family members can’t use your carousell app services this way. Never going to use carousell anymore again. Innocent users have to be dragged into this stir of nonsense when we did nothing wrong.

t is my escalation as a NEW seller on the Carousell MY platform and immediately I got the scam without any warning or advice given by the Carousell team in advance. There is no guideline or warning about the scam situation in the welcome message to the new user!!!!!! Now the your customer service team gave me the advice to report police and contact bank. AND THAT'S IT!!!! CAROUSELL DIDN'T DO ANYTHING AND RESPONDED AS IF IT HAS NO RESPONSIBILITY WHEN SCAM HAPPENS TO THE USER. As a person working in tech sector and advertiser experience, I am very angry with the Carousell's approach to the situation. I would like to stress that the user can't get scammed if the Carousell platform did its job for checking the user authencity in advance!!!!! I need this issue taken seriously by Carousell and I want Carousell MY to have partially refund for the amount of the scam that I have suffered from!!! Carousell needs to have the responsibility here rather than asking user to do the report to police/bank by themselves!!! I don't expect that Carousell will be seen as a scam breeding platform! I don't think Carousell is safe for users!

Was advertising three items all three had scam attempts then users suspended. NO real inquiries. ZERO. Their support is all sending links. No human being present just fake names. No phone number no call back. Chat is a lie it's a machine. Totally unreal these muppets got 100mill dollars funding!! How? For what? Avoid this scammy platform

Worst experience ever. I bought a Nespresso milk frother from the seller called Greatsale and it came without the heating base. I liaised with the seller to get it and he does not have it. It was not mentioned in the description and after calling Nespresso it was double confirmed that this product comes with the base. I asked Carousell to block the payment and help me with the seller. They are totally USELESS and allowed the payment. No action taken from them to help me. Huge disappointment. I am losing $85 and will delete my account from this pathetic website.

Carousell permanently suspended my account without good reason. The management are tyrants living in ancient times. Even if you have good feedbacks for years and with more than 1000 good ratings, but they will ban you. But they allow scammers to flourish in their listings. Carousell has been placed under "Platform - Special advisory" by Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore for having been reported of over 1000 scams by users. Use the platform under your own risk. Mafia platform who bans legit users but encourages scammers.

i have lost my 45000/- in this earnng . these are frauds . they didint say any information crctly and they take our money by saying we add a commission amount . if we dont have money to proceed furthur and ask back our money . they didint give our money back and they will not respond also . please dont trust this company.

Suspended my account without informing, without doing any form of investigation and with no proper appeal channel. After days of waiting for your team to get back to me, all they said was that my account was suspended due to breaking ToS (which I already know from the pop up message & being unable to login to my account). To my knowledge, I have fulfilled every deal I was involved with and has done nothing to scam, lowball or even scalp. There is no way for me to appeal or even prove my innocence as I cannot access my account to even defend myself. “You are guilty until proven innocent” but in this case you have no chance to prove anything. I've been a long time user and even verified but this has just been a whole new level of Carouhell.

Carousel suspended my account for one month as they claimed that I have violated their listing policy for listing prohibited on "numerous" occasions. The fact is I had only listed prohibited item just once out of ignorance, and it was prescribed medicine. For that they suspend me for a month.

As a seller I was a victim of an unscrupulous buyer who wanted to take advantage. Buyer failed and raised a case with carousell which gotten my account suspended. Without having an opportunity to explain or state my case / reasons. Wake up carousell. You're losing supporters. Look at the reviews here.
Tje admins are incapable of even simple assessment of a claim made, to assess if it's legit or not.
And they just suspend an account like that.
And I can't even speak with a person to explain.
Carousell is getting bad to worse. They are very bad at identifying the real scammers.
It's just time to move on.
Carousell started off well. But will become obsolete in time to come.

Carousell will act to remove your listing very fast as long as you are *not* a caroubiz account user. Listings with sexually explicit objects of Caroubiz account users can be up for years without being removed. There are even clearly internationally illegal items like human skull fragments, elephant ivory, etc. being boldly sold by caboroubiz accounts. Be warned: if you are a regular seller, the moderators will scrutinize every nook and cranny of your listing even if it follows community guidelines.
