Agents are too busy just selling their in-app subscriptions. First they’ll sell you the Pan India auction where no one other than the base Cars24 quote comes. Then you’ll get another call to buy the Direct Customer to Customer option that shows a fake number that is 30-40% higher. By this time they’ll take ALL possible information including your Aadhaar, PAN, Loan details, Bank account details etc. ready to be sold. Before anything even happen, they would have taken 2-3k from you along with all your data and car photos.

I am writing to bring to your attention a troubling experience I have had after purchasing a vehicle from your dealership, HR26EF5812, about six months ago.

Upon reviewing the vehicle, I discovered that it has an accident history, and the pillars have been repainted. Additionally, I feel that the financing terms provided were not reasonable, especially considering the high rate of interest. It seems the dealership has made it difficult for me to secure a loan from another bank, creating a situation where they demand additional payments for every little issue arising from this purchase.

I believe this situation needs to be addressed, and I would appreciate your prompt attention to resolving the concerns related to my vehicle and loan. I highly advise potential customers to be cautious, as my experience may reflect wider issues of trust in your services.

Very useless company this cars 24 is fraud my vehicle hyundai i10 sports i decided to sell this car in cars 24 they told 25k to my car it's very too much and he is telling ur car is scrap very wrost and, I spent 824₹ for telling the cars price but it was very wrost service i didn't expect from cars 24 i bought from here and I selling this car also same company ( warning please don't pay to cars 24).

i have placed an PDI order vide ref no: 772533705119HN dt: they have submitted incomplete report. when we are raising an e-mail ticket will be generated but not response from cars24. even after 2 days of receipt of report they are not responding for your quarries. we are unable to reach cars24.

First they said car is in auction but no offers come after paid plan
Then after two days said purchase our paid plan again which cost 7000

They are just cheating us... so many phone calls but all the staffs are just blaming the other person tat they have been wrong,sorry for inconvenience ... Worst Worst service...no proper solution & no proper response from customer care too... they r just telling if u want to Complaint to consumer court you do we know how to face karkey..is this the way yu response customer

don't trust this app, the need only money no proper service and support for customer concerns.

Yesterday a guy came in to inspect our Scorpio. I paid a little over 1000 for pan India presence. I was told the car will be up for auction and it'll take around 7 days. Suddenly I start getting calls from cars 24 haryana that are you interested in an XYZ price which seemed attractive. Meanwhile the car is not up for auction on the app. Today I get a call to pay up more than 1200/- to put up an ad to list the car for sale! The man was aggressive and told me that my car profile will be removed if I don't pay up. All this within 24 hours of inspection. This is absolutely unprofessional and the pressure tactics make you feel very suspicious and insecure about this whole process.

I saw their ad on TV of lifetime warranty, never imagined anyone could give lifetime warranty on used cars, and luckily I wanted to buy a 2nd car for my family, my wife jut learnt how to drive and got her DL and now she is ready to cruise on NCR roads,
Coming back to cars24, I booked i20 asta an went to test drive this tuesday, they have opened up a new hub in old Delhi Gurgaon road, it’s good looking but little rough around the edge as you can see works hasn’t completed fully. I was greeted by their sale staff and they check my number on their computer and I took a test drive, they had few other i20s but they were too old and not automotive one I wanted, I got done with mh test drive, experience was smooth and loved the car, it was like falling in love soon after tou got on board, when I inquired about lifetime warranty, it was available on that car, but they charge extra for it, it’s 1000 annual after 1st year of comprehensive warranty with a caveat that I get serviced in their center, I find this bit odd but considering I won’t get this anywhere else, I went fo it. All in all; s great experience at cars24. I got my car home just yesterday, let’s see how it rolls.

Extremely frustrating and irresponsible experience with CARS24.

I registered on CARS24 to sell my car and received a bid through their platform. After I accepted the bid, their team instructed me to pay the remaining loan closure amount to the CARS24 account so the process could move forward. Trusting their platform and instructions, I transferred the amount immediately.

Shockingly, after the payment was made, I was later informed that the bid I had already accepted was cancelled from their side. This clearly shows poor coordination and careless handling of customers.

Later I received another bid, but the price was much lower, so I rejected it and sold my car elsewhere. The real problem started after that.

CARS24 assured me that the money I paid would be refunded within 24 hours. But now it has been more than two weeks, and my money is still not refunded.

Even worse, their customer support has been completely unresponsive. I have contacted them multiple times, but there has been no proper reply, no accountability, and no resolution.

Holding a customer's money for weeks while giving false assurances about a 24-hour refund is completely unacceptable. This experience shows a serious lack of professionalism, transparency, and responsibility toward customers.

If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will have no option but to escalate this matter through consumer forums and other public platforms.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting CARS24 with their vehicle transactions.

I would rate negative if there was option, it's just money making app, i tried selling my car here, they fix an appointment for inspection and they give a very low pricing they also insist to become a pro seller and some how convince to make payment of 900 approx saying there will be an auction so that you can sell it for the highest bidder. But after payment there will be no such thing in the app but they keep calling and people who call you argue with you and annoy you. Finally nothing happens but you will lose your hard earned money for these kind of scams. So be aware and stay away from these people. They are horrible.

I got my car valuation done from mohali and I must say there inspection team iss good but the customer support person sitting behind are hopeless I already informed that I have sold the car but they call again and again and don't have the atticates how to speak with customer as they are arguing with me for no reason that even though I told them the value i am getting during inspection

Cars24 inspection was quick and staff were polite, but the offer I got for my is far below market value compared to what similar cars are selling/listed for in the UAE. I left feeling like it was a lowball tactic and honestly it felt like a scammy experience—bring you in with convenience, then give an unfair price. I didn’t sell my car and wouldn’t recommend them if you want a fair valuation.

I sold my car in July 2025, Payment received same day but still the car ownership has not been transferred and I am receiving notices from Traffic Police, challans. Worried, if some accident happens or my car is mis utilised. Written to CARS 24 care so many a times, but no action. Now heading to Consumer Forum court. Appointment ID-15230541765

It is the worst platform. I would suggest never go with it.. they pressurized me to put good review earlier.. i sold out my creta for which i got less price.. they told they will take RC later on for transfer its been 3 months now and no response. They said whatever amount of challan u will pay we will refund you that amount whenever i ask for regund of challan they say we can't see any disposed challan eben after i have sent the screenshot.. these people are scammer.. dont believe them till now car has not been transferred n my bade papa is getting mags on tbe registered mob number.. whenever i contact my POC she never came with solution ... this is worst

Avoid Cars24: Unprofessional and Unfair Practices. Fooling customers with retail and sales team who don't have clue about wat other is doing..

I had a terrible experience with Cars24 and want to warn others. They called me repeatedly and forced me to list even though I didn't agree with their pricing. After taking a 2200 INR fee, they failed to connect me with any genuine buyers and eventually delisted my car. When I asked for a refund since no service was actually provided, they claimed the process was "auto-generated" and refused to help, even hanging up the phone.
Save your money and deal with local dealers directly instead. Most careless response even from customer care and on the face they we can't refund your money do whatever you want.. most unethical and unorganised app.

Totally dissatisfied with the overall experience. Initially the valuation of my car and payment agreed on was smooth and without any delay. Though I thought I could have got a better price for my car which was very well maintained.
After selling my car to them I have been under a lot of stress as I sold my car Maruti Swift to them in Mumbai in Feb 2023 and now it's 3 years on and I still do not have any confirmation of the RC transfer. I have sent them numerous of emails inquiring if the status of my RC transfer however I keep getting the same stereo type of response that they understand my situation and regret for the inconvinance caused.
Within a week of selling my car, I received a speeding challan from MTP, last year that is almost 2 years later I received a challan bia registered mail from Kerala traffic police with the pic of my car for a traffic violation. Both of these challand were eventually paid by Cars24 after sending them numerous mails. What I am really afraid of is that if the car is involved in an accident which causes a death, then the implications are far too heavy. Though this Cars24 send you a pdf Sellers protection policy which is unsigned / unstamped I have my doubts of the legalality of the document and how much it will protect me in the event of the above scenario. I fail to understand that if the car is being driven in another state how could the transfer not have been done already.
Sellers DONOT make the same mistake of selling your car to Cars24 , the after sales experience is simply traumatic.

I wanted to sell my car. I received a call from CARS24, and they told me that the inspection was free of cost. However, when the inspection person came, he said that it was chargeable and that I would have to purchase a plan to sell my car.

Even after buying the plan, I received no response regarding the sale of my car. They forcefully made me purchase the plan, and after that, there has been no support at all. The expert who was assigned to me has a contact number that is not working. I have been calling for many days, but I haven’t received any callback or response. I also raised a complaint with customer support, but there has been no reply to that either.

I recommend that everyone avoid using CARS24’s services

In the name of compulsion the charge extra amount on maintenance services which they don't do anything. when we checked engine oil, we found out that it was not at all replaced as against their claim. When we highlighted it then they took the vehicle somewhere and showed ua a pick of oil being replaced.

In short they increase the price of car indirectly by adding additional things which they show it as already done and compulsory.

I was cheated by Car24 rep while I scrapped my suv , I was told all the RTO cancellation procedure will be done through them & they will even provide with a cancellation certificate, it’s been 60 days & all I got was chassis plate & RTO work is all pending, upon further investigation cars24 told me that they cannot provide me with a scrap certificate which I was promised while making the deal .
Never trust cars 24 they plainly lie on your face .
