We find Cartell a very helpful company and the Rep Donal Lawler that looks after our account goes above and beyond to cover our every need. I would Highly recommend working with Cartell, our company is a Global company and work with many around the word but say that Cartell and there rep that manages the account is extremely professional.

Speaking with Colette, went through history check as first time running a report. Pointed out high amount of previous owners and to check insurance company as can cause issues which I did not know. Very knowledgable and straight to the point with the information being clear. Altogether really happy with great customer service

We have been dealing with Donal Lawlor of Cartell for last couple years. He is always on the other end of the phone if any queries at all, and very helpful in checking things out if any queries on a history check that we have carried out, He is a Gentleman to deal with and couldn't be more helpful with anything we check with him and always a response in a very timely manner. He has made our dealings with Cartell very easy and is always ready at other end of phone when we have any queries. We are very happy with the service that Cartell Provides and with staff like Donal at other end of phone if any queries it leaves them a pleasure to deal with.

I have been dealing with Donal Lawlor of Cartell for nearly two years. As a large company that was looking for a system that would help us in our day-to-day activities, Donal has been very patient and informative about how Cartell could assist us and bring us through the system and its positives. He has made our engagements with Cartell very easy and is always ready to lend a helping hand when we have any queries. I cannot recommend Cartell enough and with staff like Donal available at your fingertips makes it more accessible.

I am not saying this checks are not correct, but it can be confusing who to trust?

I was going to buy a car and did a check with another competitor company, the report showed that the car was an economy write off, that prompted me to ask this company to investigate further to comfirm the flag, which they did, and truly it was an insurance economy writeoff that I was told remains on the car.

I ask the seller who said yes there was a damaged repair, but nothing showed as writeoff, but this accident and repair resulted in the writeoff of the car by the insurance company, this was not explained to us when we came to inquire about the car, until I did the check.

The seller insist that they did with Cartell, and there was no alert or flag for a writeoff, but they knew the car was involved in an accident, the other check flagged that the car was an economy writeoff by the competitor company

I now did a Cartell on the same car last night, and there was no information about a write off, strange right? and why?

I also came to trustpilot to check the sellers, one review and it state clearly, do not buy from this seller they sell writeoff vehicles, that was enough for me to know that the other compnay check was accurate

I hope Cartell will improve on this part, it can be painful to spend so much on a car to find out later in the year that one bought an insurance writeoff

I dealt with Geraldine and she was a breath of fresh air. She called me to discuss my issue about possible outstanding finance on a car I was buying. She couldn't have been nicer/more helpful/pleasant. You are lucky to have an employee like Geraldine. She even offered to follow up with me to put my mind to rest

Did a full check before importing car from Northern Ireland. Came fully clear. A year later when selling the buyer checked deeper and found my car was a Category S write off, insurance after a crash on the poctra.net website. Suddenly i was stuck with a lemon, despite the check. Lost €2.5k, was offered refund on the car check lol and of course the TsCs cover cartell. Seems they have issues getting certain write offs on UK inc NI reg's but once rereg'd in Ireland they can update later. Too late for me, cant trust this service again. BUYER BEWARE

We recently carried out a car check on Cartell.ie and the report for vehicle in question came back with a glowing response.
However we decided to crosscheck on another website and the report came back with a warning flag suggesting the vehicle may be a write off, damaged in a crash, used as a garda car, or possibly flood damaged.
How can this be as we were searching the same on registration on both sites.
Having paid for the Cartell report we can't trust it. So what are we paying for???

I bought a report for a car that I know it was crashed but it does not show in the report.... written off car......asked for my money back, no reply yet

Excellent service, I'm in the motor trade a long time and never experienced customer service like it. I had a issue with a car over the weekend and I spoke to a man named donal lawlor, he went above and beyond and had everything ready for me by Monday morning so I could get back to my customer to tell them everything was in order. We are a small garage (sales and repair) in Dublin and use Cartell to check ALL of our cars prior to purchase / sale. We have been using them for years and find them to be the best - very professional and importantly accurate vehicle history check. Easy to contact by mail or phone ... knowledgeable staff and friendly too. As a business we need to protect consumers and ensure or vehicle have no nasty surprises (which they don't). We intend using Cartell well into the future.

I bought a UK car report today online from cartell.ie and needed some help to understand part of it so I rang the landline got through to a lovely lady that explained everything very clearly to me . Thanks a million Geraldine.

I used cartell for 2 checks on cars that I was looking at in the past 4 weeks, both of them were on finance ( neither disclosed by the sellers ) , and i believe one of them is fraud, only for my cartell checks i could have been caught with either of these, spoke to Geraldine who was very professional and extremely helpful ,
