Unfortunately the cartridge arrived…
Unfortunately the cartridge arrived without a chip. I have emailed Dan on customer service , sent photos . Dan was gong to send me a replacement but i received nothing. On emailing back to see where the replacement was I was told HP would not have sent a cartridge out without a chip and that as there was no chip on the cartridge that was down to me!!
Why would i remove a chip stuck on to a cartridge resulting in it not working !!
Unfortunately the 30 day moneyback guarantee does not appear to be happening.

The chip is still on the old cartridge - i sent photos of both old cartridge with chip and new cartridge without chip to Dan as soon as yours arrived.
i have now re ordered off FP Franking direct. Accusing me of removing the chip from the new cartridge to stick on the old cartridge which is empty hence the purchase of a new cartrigde is bonkers . I am a 55 year old company director ! Your money back guarantee on the website is just words !!!

Fortunately we have been in a HP factory before and have seen the process in action when they make an ink cartridge. It is impossible for a specialist franking machine cartridge like yours to leave the factory without a chip as it would be dead and fail the checks in order pass quality control. They all would. It looks like you took the chip off the cartridge because you had another cartridge which registered empty but you belived it to contain ink. You ordered from us to use the chip on this Cartridge and get your money back. We were refused a return by HP so we couldn't offer a refund on a licensed product.
We didn't accuse you of returning the old cartridge.

Worst online experience I have ever experienced
If I could give this company -5 stars I would. I purchased an ink cartridge from them and paid £5.95 for next day delivery. After 4 days I contacted them explaining I had never received the cartridge and was about to go on holiday and now did not require the cartridge anymore. I was told they would sort it out. After returning from our holiday the cartridge was delivered, I contacted them again and was told to return it with Royal Mail tracking service and they would refund me my invoice and the postage cost. After tracking the delivery it was now obvious I was not getting a refund, after 2 emails and many phone calls I got my refund minus the return costs. Every time I called them the manager was on a day off or had left early. Eventually I got an email explaining my return was outwith their terms and conditions even after me contacting them explaining I had never received it before going on holiday. The worst online company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is awful and mannerism on emails was shocking.

Hi Ricky. We are sorry to hear your point of view on this as we heard from you weeks after your purchase not days after. Royal mail was the issue not us. You wanted a refund on a single ink which was fine and we refunded promply. The issue you failed to mention in your review was you chose to send a single ink tank cartridge weighing 65 grams costing £8.95 for a special next day delivery, which you wanted us to pay for. We fully refunded the initial delivery and the purchase made but your confusion is the non faulty return postage is down to you. We have a non faulty restocking fee which we waivered out of goodwill as royal mail were the issue not us.
We hope this clears up any confusion and if we can be of any further service please do call again.

Dan wanted to charge a 20% restocking fee, plus to to pay return postage.
Arrogant young man, thought he was right, turned out he was wrong. He refunded in full after several emails and telephone calls.

This was an unusual one as the product was very niche and had a description for 2 different machines when it fitted only 1. It initially looked like you ordered the wrong toner then later we saw the description was incorrect so rang you to say it was not your fault and offered a full refund. We understand how you felt on this occassion and glad we could get it rectified promptly.
