Trust Pilot should consider a ZERO STAR option…

It's time Trust Pilot considered allowing a Zero Star. I would certainly use it here. Customer service cannot get worse than Casablanca.
Rude, discourteous, fragrantly obnoxious, crude, unbridled. Words cannot express our disgust with this company.
Sadly, companies are allowed to operate like this with gross impunity. Where are the authorities when you need them?
Based on the gross customer service we experienced similar to the ones mentioned by others, we will be requesting our tax refund!!!!! Stay away people the free trip promised isn't worth the hassle.

Less than 1 star

If I could rate this company lower than a 1 star-I sure would! Horrible Customer Service! When you wait on hold forever and finally get ahold of someone to talk to the representative was so rude, wouldn’t answer questions, cussed at me and then hung up on me! I was asking about cruise lines out of certain ports.
Needless to say the 2 trips we had with them we won’t use! I’d rather pay than be treated so poorly! Run away from this company!!!

Don’t make the mistake we did

Don’t make the mistake we did! What a terrible company to deal with. We were offered a free all inclusive cruise for 7 days, how wonderful right?!? They told us to call for information and they would say we are calling too early. So we wait another month and I attempt another phone call. You’re calling too early. That went on until about 6 months ago when they told me we were all set! After making work arrangements finding a place for our dog, getting passportsNow a month before we’re supposed to leave we call and they say oh sorry we’re all full up. The next cruise we have openings for is in September, hurricane season, of 2025!
Oh yippee!!! You think it wasn’t darn near impossible to get my wife to go on a cruise already?
Option two they’ll give $100 and let us us a condo. It will probably be in Canada in the middle of winter! Since one is the lowest rating, that’s what we used in five is the highest rating. I would prefer using a five only definitely putting a minus line in front of it.-5…

A bunch of fees and charges that make the trip overpriced

GEVC/RCI partners with Casablanca Express for their "Free" trip giveaways. The sales event you sit through is at GEVC's location and the "gifts" they give out are from them there.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if all these companies fall under the same main umbrella corporation, to maximize on their scam.
Fun fact, they're not free, actually cost more than booking online. Its meant to be the same kind of experience you'd have with them. Well... that's not saying a lot.

Added little detail, this company piggy backs off the BBB rating of Resort Condominium International (RCI). Which these days RCI still has an A+ rating but the complaints... well.
If getting charged full price after the deposit is what happens on these Casablanca Express trips, imagine paying $12k+ for a "lifetime" membership and still having to pay for your holiday on top of that.

So we finally booked and went on our first (and last) trip with Casablanca Express.
We sent in the $50 deposit, there is no website for you to track all your trips. You have to call customer service to get things booked. They don't send you confirmation emails, you have to hope you wrote down the details for when to book etc. Even back in the 90s you'd be given some kind of confirmation from a travel agent. This seems like a good way to get $50+ and have people forget about it.

Now, they don't tell you this until its time to book the stay, like a month out from the travel day.
They tell you its a motel included in the "free" trip but won't tell you the name of it. If you want anything that's just clean and close to activities you'll have to upgrade, total $239. We stayed at the Hyatt Place Denver Downtown, Denver, you haven't saved any money at all with the $50 deposit and the Upgrade fee. We were meant to get a couple of activities and valet parking included as well as "free" tickets to our local stadium. That didn't happen.

The trip has to happen during the week. And you won't get anything within 60 days. Our trip was to Denver without airfare in early November. Prices aren't exactly crazy from the hotels themselves $136/per night at the time. Prices from booking sites are even cheaper, with some as low as $95 per night at the time - since you can only travel with these guys on the off season. All in all a complete rip off. GEVC, RCI and Casablanca Express will tell you they have THE BEST stay prices... but clearly they don't. I'll just be using the booking sites from now on.

Don't bother with these companies unless you want someone to tell you when you can/can't travel, and to pay essentially a premium for the stay. Glad we didn't have air fare "included", and didn't buy the membership they were trying to sell.
This was our first family trip with our baby. We're not exactly swimming in free cash.

Run from this scammer

Casa Blanca Express
is a scam beware
This company they called me for me to hear their spill about traveling at a discount. Heard their spill they told me to listen to it for about an hour to a half hour that I could get a trip and exchange for my time what did I do that for I ended up being sucked into a scam. the initial trip was for Seattle which I paid them $200 and $50 to be able to go to Seattle inwhich I was told by one of the employees that It was actually a timeshare presentation which at that point I went on ahead and canceled because I'm not interested in attending a time presentation i did ask for a refund because I was not going to be flying from where I am to Washington State to here time share presentation for an hour and then have to leave and come back Then I was transferred to a Russell and they went on ahead and issued the refund out for the Seattle trip they called me again and said that they had another trip for another $200 deposit I could go to I believe it was either Las Vegas or Orlando so I said okay I'll go ahead and give them the down deposit and I'll go ahead and make reservations to be able to go later down the road I got to thinking I cancelled Seattle but i realized I had purchased that second trip and needed to cancel it and called them to cancel when I did call them to cancel I asked for a manager Go ahead and cancel that reservation with a manager who was very argumentative in regards to providing maybe fun but did advise me that they will call you to refund the second trip and I gave him my information to do so keeping in mind that all of these months I have a thieving messages for this Russell person emailing him sometimes with no reply and having to hunt him down in order to speak with It was a time and point where I called literally four times in one day I did not get a return call back I called so much and left so many messages finally did getting a hold of them /him

and letting them know that I was not going to be going to this trip by that time I had felt something was up what was up is that this is a scam I was told by the manager We will go ahead and refund your money for the second trip since you did (not )stay at the hotel and And as I had told him I'm not going to pay you for something that I did not partake in as I awaited from October 18th to November 15th of the 2024 I had not received the refund from The manager nor the company the manager who got all my information so I waited until November 15th I called back and spoke to This Russell person again and he kept reiterating all calls are recorded all calls are recorded all calls are recorded they went back on their promise and said that he was not going to refund the $200 because they had to pay for a room that I was not aware that they had to pay for a room and so now I have to obtain legal counsel and now I have to try to fight this company for my $200 that they scammed me out of and promised me that they were going to refund to people everywhere do not give them your money because if you do it's a chance that they will renege on you It is a horrible scam that this company is running I informed this Russell person that if he was not going to be from the money why didn't he call me from October 18th to November to let me know with another time to pick up the phone and information that they were going to renege and he informs me that they have thousands of of people and that there's no way he can call them he was waiting for me to call him back This is the scam be aware of the scam I told him that I have a very busy life and I have a life he is not the center of my life and I had remembered to cancel the reservation thinking and knowing I had purchased two vacations so they have stolen my money and they are a sham buyers be very aware it's countless people that they have scammed don't walk run from this company.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They take your money, promise you a vacation, and make you book it 6 months in advance only to tell you that it is cancelled. After booking the vacation I called four times to check where we would be staying. Each time they told me to call back later because they did not have the details.

The month before I left I called again, the agent was incredibly rude, I told him we wanted to buy our plane tickets and needed the details of the trip. He told me everything was confirmed and that they would send me the details the week before the trip. The week of the trip I called again and they told me the trip was cancelled because the agent could not reach me. This was after me reaching out to them at least six times and the agent confirming that my trip was all set.

After the agent told me everything was confirmed I went ahead and bought the plane tickets, rental car, hotel nights for arrival and departure date, and everything else, only to find out that they cancelled my trip without notifying or informing me. This place cost me thousands of dollars. Do not trust them. It is all lies.

The agents name was Jonathan. I have never received such unprofessional, unempathetic service.

Stay away from Casablanca Express

This company is a scam company where the employees will easily lie to you to get your money and to make you feel as though you’re getting what you want so that you don’t make complaints. Stay far far away from these scammers and liars!

I won a trip through a free ticket entry at a basketball game. Chad eventually called me to confirm my trip. He kept telling me what great offers they had but intentionally avoided giving me all the details. He told me that a $199 deposit was required and was simply treated as an RSVP but this would be “refunded to me on a Visa card as soon as [I got] to the hotel”; those were his exact words. I confirmed this with him numerous times before agreeing to pay the deposit.

I then called the 877 number that I was directed to so that I could pick the dates and hotel for my trip. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the associate that I spoke with, but he then informed me that Chad gave me false information. I was now being told that I would actually get $250 back on the Visa card but only after sitting through 90-120 minute presentation, which Chad NEVER mentioned, despite the many times I asked him to confirm that I was getting my deposit back “as soon as I got to the hotel” as he initially stated. I then asked this representative for Chad’s number so that I can follow up with him about this. The representative assured me he was giving me Chad’s number as he stated, “of course I know him; I work with him.” I promptly called the number given to me only to find that I was told another lie; the number belonged to someone named Neil.

Calling back the number that I initially spoke to Chad on, I was luckily able to get back in touch with Chad. He tried many ways to excuse his lie, but the short of it is that he intentionally misled me to get me to go along with their set up. I expressed my disappointment to Chad and requested to speak with his manager, which he told me was Nathan. He said that his manager wasn’t currently in, but he would have him give me a call, which was another lie. I never got a call back. I even called again and left a message and still no call back. Now when I try and call, I am being sent straight to voicemail. So, clearly, Chad has gone to additional lengths to intentionally ignore me after he purposely lied to me more than once.

I do not believe this is the customer service of an honest company, and their practices absolutely need to be looked into and investigated. Luckily, I was able to get my money refunded without too much of a hassle, but I can only imagine how many people’s money they have stolen that didn’t get refunded. Be aware of their deceptive tactics if you chose to give them a try.

Unprofessional and difficult to deal with

I called Casablanca express about reservations I had made in December 2023. I was told I would receive a call from a travel agent 45 days prior to my trip date. I called back on April 4 2024 stating I had not heard from anyone about my trip. They told me I had not sent back paperwork confirming my dates so they could no longer honor my original departure date. I did not receive any paperwork from them to sign. The customer service rep was rude and didn’t want to listen to what I (the customer) had to say. She disconnected the call and later called me back. She then connected me to her manager and he was just the same as she was. At the end of the call he was heard making fun of the conversation. Very unprofessional.

If you feel like wasting your time in…

If you feel like wasting your time in their presentation, getting your deposit taken in a bait and switch (told you would be staying in one location and and finding out its a half hour away) then please enjoy. For an added bonus you can wait for hours on hold just to leave a voicemail and never receive a call back. I must be insane because I did this 5 times with no response.

SCAM ALERT

We paid to make a reservation, then paid to confirm our dates, but our check to confirm was never cashed and we never received confirmation of our trip dates. I have called 3 times now and told they are a little behind but we would be receiving confirmation within a week. It has been 2 months and we STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVE CONFIRMATION AND THEY HAVE OUR MONEY! This appears to be a SCAM.

Paid my activation fee. tried to book my week in San Juan. They could not support there end of the contract and would not bend, even a little, to accommodate their inability to honor their published agreement. Luckily I was able to get a refund of my fee.

i agree with all the negative reviews

i agree with all the negative reviews. they are scammers and cons. I supposedly "won" tickets to go to Disney. After I attended one of those stupid talks... waited 3 days... they refunded my $40... to reserver my talk... THEN I finally get my trip confirmed... requesting a $100 deposit.. that I have to send to them to hold my trip....

BEWARE

BEWARE: If you are looking for a place of honesty, Casablanca Express is not a place. We ended up signing up for a timeshare sale meeting, it wasn’t as bad as we had thought. However, we are very disappointed with the promise they had made about a free trip which I understand was too good to be true, but still, give us the full info. I would have paid extra if they were honest about how it works, but from day one all they want is your money.

First, you will receive a voucher and will be asked to pay taxes and fees and a refundable deposit which will be $ 250. After that, they will ask you for an upgrade with $ 100 threatening that your trip will be miserable if you do not upgrade. They also promised us a ticket for two shows in Vegas which I have not seen yet. I tried calling three times but have not received any callback.

This is not really a free trip but an awful experience shown by Casablanca Express. They can do it better with honesty and customer service even if they are trying to sell a timeshare. I was considering a timeshare with them, but not anymore. I do not trust this company. They did get my one-time money, but lost my trust and money for the future. I am yet to see how this trip will go, but have zero expectations.

Even if I can divert a couple of people from Casablanca, I will be happy. It’s all about trust when doing business, not the route that Casablanca has taken. Hope you see this post. Save you time and money, it’s cheaper to go by yourself.

Awful

Awful. First you have to provide three different dates of the trip you choose, all 30 days apart and at least 90 days out. Then they say approx. 45-75 days before travel they will contact you. This was not the case. We waited and waited then a young lady called and we picked out dates that was "close" to one of the 3 sets mentioned earlier. This all started in October. New dates were now set for June 21, 2023. As time got closer, still no response. From the major airport we listed, there are two flight companies with cheap tickets for direct flights to our destination. We got a call June 12, 2023. The guy wanted to put us on a flight that had a connection then landed in the destination at 11:59 PM. I asked if this counts as a full day. Trip we opted for was the airfare and two night stay. He said yes, this counts cause we are technically in before midnight. Who knows what time we would get to some 2 start hotel on the outskirts of the town that would cost an Uber to get to. Then we would have had 1 day in the destination with a 6AM flight the following day. They make it difficult so you have to upgrade. This was the biggest scam that had my money over 8 months. Still waiting for the snail mail to deliver the $350 back to me. SCAM.

GASLIGHTING SCAMMERS

RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and
COMPLETE SCAMMERS. They deserve the lowest rating possible. This company promises you one thing then finds every excuse they can to change the details of your trip. BETH and JULIO, should both be fired based on their customer service (or lack thereof) If you have my money, YOU LISTEN TO ME!
PERIOD. These people are master manipulators that try to gaslight you into being okay with all around POOR SERVICE and EMPTY PROMISES. Not to mention the headache it is to even get in contact with someone just to then be treated like you're not a PAYING customer. Absolutely nobody should give this company money and I encourage EVERYONE that has been scammed by these people to take them to small claims court and report them to every outlet possible. This is just the beginning.
