terrible support

terrible support. People were sending me money and it never made it to my end but took their money from them. Reached out to cashapp support and was told "sign up for a new cashapp then contact support and the sent me a link to sign up for cashapp" use venmo so you dont lose your money

This is the worst app I have ever used

This is the worst app I have ever used. This is the second time I have set up an account and it always say after a few months my account has been closed due to violating the terms and conditions. There isn’t any type of fraud or anything going on. I will definitely let my friends and family know who constantly use Cash App. This is complete nonsense.

The Worst App for money transfers

Problem getting my 200 refund from them …

I had a Problem with sending my cousin $200 it showed pending and did not go through..so I canceled it. It looks like cash app took $200 out of my account and they kept it for themselves that is very dishonest.. I have called and sent emails to them.. past 4 days .. they said they will refund me the 200 and so far they have not responded by text nor called me back.. I have to make a police report that they kept my $200 and have not returned it. DG

Cashapp will rob you

I have always had a decent experience with cashapp. Nothing special just decent. It was a convenient enough service that I continued use. This was until several months ago when I bought a few stocks using their platform. After that I had 0 activity for several months. I hopped on today because it was again a convenient way to transfer money to my friend. I found my account was closed due to a terms and service violation. Which was confusing since the last activity all I did was buy $100 worth of stocks no problem. After contacting them they had no clue why my account was closed and the only way I could get my money for my stocks is if I have a valid credit or debit card on file that is different from the valid debit card thata always been on file with them. When asked to speak with a supervisor I was just told they will only correspond through email but will not talk over the phone. Im still dealing with this. I know its only $100 but still its the principle of it.

Do not ever use cash app.

The most insensitive money transfer app

The most insensitive money transfer app ever, someone stole my account and unlinked my number and email so I couldn't access it, I contacted support and no one did a damn thing, they don't even give you your $15 when you invite a friend !!! Seriously don't ever use this freaking worthless app !!!!

Customer service is awful

So frickin frustrating. I have now traded 8 emails with the cash app customer service team and my problem still has not been resolved. Each time the customer service team either answers the wrong question or tells me yet again how things are suppose to work. THEY DON’T. That’s why I’m emailing, they don’t work as you say they do.

Be aware of where your money is going…

Be aware of where your money is going when you cash out. They have employees who are redirecting the deposits to private accounts with Sutton Bank. They went as far as entering American Federal Credit Union out in California with the routing and account number with Sutton Bank.

I sent several emails to Sutton Bank and Cash App requesting to cancel an upcoming deposit which they ignored. You don't know that it's going to a fraudulent account until afterwards. Then you are unable to reverse the transaction.

Just like previous comments the Customer Service department does not exist. This company needs to be shut down. Too many scammers working here.

The Worst Service Imaginable!

I wish I had never heard of Cash App! My employer instructed me to install Cash App for use in my position in dealing with payroll. I was told that I would use it to buy bitcoin for employees. I installed it dutifully, but when I checked out the bitcoin function, I saw that I had to enter a lot of personal information, including my driver's license and to take a selfie. I did everything that I was requested to do. When I finished, I saw a notice that said "Verification in Progress." It is now close to two weeks, and that notice is still appearing! I can do nothing with the app and my employer is pressuring me to find a way to resolve the problem. I sent numerous requests to Cash Support, asking them to investigate what was the problem, but nothing was done. When I saw that I was not getting any service, I complained to the Better Business Bureau. That yielded no results, either. Today, I received an email from Square, Inc, the company that manages Cash App, that said to me that the notifications to my email from my Cash App account have been turned off. How does this company stay in business with such terrible service? I see all the other complaints against the company, so I know that I am not alone with my complaint. It is not asking too much to request service when the product malfunctions -- well, in the case of normal companies, it's not asking too much, but apparently Cash App is an exception to that. The app deserves to be banned for having such awful service; if it cannot be used, why should anyone endure the misery of attempting to use it?

Update: today I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission about the non-existent service that Square Inc. gives about its product, Cash App. Maybe with the intervention of the FTC, something will finally be done for the sake of customers. I can only hope.

Cash app has the worst customer service…

Cash app has the worst customer service ever. I had always enjoyed the service of the app but once I gotten locked out of my account and needed it for an emergency. I sent numerous emails and called but have been unable to get a response from them still to be able to access my funds. This is unacceptable to be have money but be unable to access it. I do not recommend this company because this same scenario could very well happen to you.

Scam everywhere in this system.

I had a really "funny" experience with the cash app.
I got scammed through this system. It's not their fault that's my bad.
But! After I report about a scam... they blocked my own account.

Cash app allowed someone to access my…

Cash app allowed someone to access my account and pilfer $750. When I disputed the transactions I was informed, by email, that the transactions were good and denied my claim. The only way someone could have gotten through my security parameters
would be from within their system, an employee. User beware.

Amateurs!!

They'll keep your money for several days and won't honour your requests. Their support team is basically a bunch of amateurs who don't know anything and will keep spamming your inbox. Avoid!!

If there was an option you'd get not even 1 star!!

I have been locked out of my account for days now! It started by me trying to buy a car and lost the opportunity due to my account being locked!! Followed by not being able to pay for bfast so I was embarrassed to say the least as well as sat there waiting to have a friend come pay for 2 hours!! I plan on using this ridiculous company if that's what you even are and I cannot wait till someone is held accountable for their actions!! You people ought to be in jail for playing with people's lives like you have! I mean look at your reviews, that says it all!! I want my account unlocked now not weeks but now! I have send a 100 damn unlock customer support emails and not once has it helped!! Anyone reading do not use this app it is a scam and will take your money!!!!!!
