DO NOT USE CASH APP FOR ANY TRANSACTIONS! I was scammed and immediately contacted Cash App support to request a refund or reimbursement. It took them two weeks to respond, and their only reply was a denial of the claim. During this process, I provided multiple pieces of evidence, including screenshots of the transaction and communication history, but they never reviewed or considered them to assist with their investigation. I strongly advise others to use PayPal or directly bank through your financial institution instead. I'm sharing this to warn other victims of scams about Cash App’s unreliable customer support and to prevent others from falling victim like I did.

Yes cashapp is convenient however they have terrible customer serice, will freeze your accounts and if they will NOT ever cover you if you lost your money due to fraud or a stolen card or anything.

I have had a Cash App for a few years I recently started borrowing. I borrowed $205.00 previous when I owe them back I pay them in full. This go round they took out $105.00 on Friday April 3,2026 I call and tell them my payment isn’t due until April 17,2026. The representative says you can skip and change it long story short he had me go in to the app listening to him step by step and it made another payment of $52.50 I immediately got upset because I tell him hey you didn’t give me the right direction and now I’ve made another payment. He reply’s oh ma’am we can’t reimburse the loan payment once it’s made Me: excuse me it was your fault I said you can reverse the payment back to my card he says unfortunately we can’t. If you want to borrow do not borrow because if they mess up they will not reimburse you your money on their end if it’s their fault. I’m going with a different company

Feedback form forcing people to fabricate truth.
I had a situation with my account. I first contacted Cash App support through the app, but they said that department could only respond via email. It took two days to receive the email, and when it finally arrived, the response had nothing to do with my issue. They literally gave me an answer, which was shutting me down, in regards to something that wasn't even my question or my situation. At the end of the email, they had a survey in the final question was asking, “What went well?” but nothing at all went well, so I was essentially forced to select an answer that wasn’t true just to complete it since it was a required question that they would not let you bypass. The whole process was slow, unhelpful, and frustrating on top of being forced to lie to finish the feedback form.

Horrible Customer Service
Total aggravated with this scamming app. It’s so annoying when someone hacks your account and you need to resolve the issue it’s almost impossible. I do not know why my account cannot be recovered but my name and phone number is still attached to a non-recoverable account. They are holding my money hostage!!! Please do not use this platform, use Zelle.

It does everything I need it to do, makes online shopping safe secure and easy to do as well as sending and receiving funds with other cash app users. It’s easy to load money on as well!
