Arrived at 4:00 to see my ordered dress and Nadia was absolutely wonderful! To save me travelling back to Glasgow after alteration she kindly carried out taking my dress up there and then - despite her not feeling well and in only an hour! Candidate for the great British sewing bee I think! Thank you so much to you Nadia my dress is perfect xxxx

It was a fabulous experience from the moment I entered the shop. Everyone was so nice and friendly and helpful. Shaleen helped me pick a Mother of the Bride dress and I absolutely love it. She also picked me the most fabulous hat. It was such a lovely experience.

As a MOB brought up in Glasgow there was only ever going to be one shop for me and that was Catherines of Partick. And it certainly didn’t disappoint. From the moment I stepped into what is a beautiful shop I was calmed, reassured and made to feel special. My daughter, the bride was with me and our fantastic sales lady Shaleen made us both confident that it was only the right dress that she would recommend. As it was when I tried on my third dress I knew that was the one…. Thank you Shaleen for knowing what I didn’t… exactly what suited me…. I cannot recommend Catherines of Partick highly enough… the ladies are all down to earth, seen everything before but most importantly knowledgeable beyond measure. They know their trade so well and they pass that on to their customers so beautifully. So yes I said yes to the dress and feel a million dollars in my dress … thank you Shaleen you are just brilliant xxx

From the moment you enter through the doors, nothing is a problem. Staff are helpful and friendly and make your experience seamless. I went to try on dresses 8 months before our wedding. My choice got reduced to my 2 favorites. Then I went with the dress that kept pulling me back to it along with the matching hat. Needless to say I walked away that day with my outfit. Pleased in the fact that I was all sorted.

I had a great experience at Catherine’s of Partick choosing my dress for my son’s wedding. Sharleen was very helpful and knowledgeable encouraging me to try dresses I probably wouldn’t have tried. I bought a beautiful dress in a colour I’d never worn before and I absolutely love it. Thanks Sharleen

Shaleen was very helpful with myself yesterday she made me feel like a queen and the 2 other girls that was fitting my trousers made me feel so comfortable and when I left the shop it made me feel my worry’s where over and made me feel amazing ..Sandra Hoey

My friend and I visited Catherines of Partick as my friend's daughter is being married on 13 September, and she needed a Mother of the Bride outfit. We were both a bit reluctant to make an appointment there, as we had both had experience of the store, albeit 10+ years ago and disliked the 5-pronged attack of the (then) assistants, putting pressure on. However, time was not on our side and we submitted a desperate request online on Friday 8th August for an appointment the following day.
Within 10 minutes, the store called offering us a 9 am appointment the next morning.
My friend (the MOB) is not a fan of shopping but what a pleasant experience we had. Tanya had been allocated to her and what a brilliant service she provided. Firstly, she went along the rail of dresses in my friend's size, allowing her to choose possible dresses. She then brought the dresses 3 at a time to be tried on.
Nothing was too much trouble for her and we did not, in any way, feel pressurised. When a dress was a "possible" she found matching shoes, bag and hat to let us see a full outfit.
When my friend found the dress that she loved, a choice of shoes, bag and hats were found by Tanya, as well as possible necklaces to finish off the outfit.
After about 2 hours, she had a full outfit, with jewellry) and it is beautiful.
We both commented on what a great service Tanya provided and the experience (that we were both dreading) was enjoyable and relaxed.
We would both highly recommend Catherine of Partick for a special occasion outfit.

The most welcoming and relaxed experience . I was looking for a Mother of the Bride outfit and there is an amazing choice of outfits and matching accessories . Shaleen was fantastic .

We were served by Shaleen. She was really helpful and knowledgeable about what the shop had in stock. Nothing was too much trouble , she was lovely ...a credit to the shop.
My dress needed a slight tweak and the dressmaker was lovely too. A super shopping experience if you're looking for an outfit for a special occasion.

Had a fantastic experience shopping here for my MOB outfit. Shaleen was just amazing with helping me select outfits. Each outfit was given a hat, shoes and bag to try on too. I found the perfect outfit for my Daughters wedding next year. Complete with hat, shoes, bag and jewellery to match. Cannot fault this place.

Got a lovely outfit for my daughter’s wedding. Shaleen was very helpful. I’m looking forward to wearing it on the day.

I bought a dress in March for my daughters wedding at the beginning of August and didn’t have the greatest experience as there wasn’t a lot to try on in my size and didn’t like any of them so when I tried on the one I bought it was a beautiful dress and I liked it but on hindsight it is totally the wrong shape for me and after even losing a bit of weight still didn’t look great on me so I have worried about it since. I came back to the shop last weekend and took the dress and matching shoes and bag which cost me just over £1100 and tried it on before trying anything else on to let the assistant see it and it was agreed that the style and the colour really didn’t suit me. I tried a few different dresses including the same dress but in a darker colour, which did suit me a bit better but I was really disappointed that there was no come & go regarding possibly swapping the dress or even the bag & shoes to a different colour and would have to buy everything again. They did say eventually if I bought another dress they would give 10% off but was just really disappointed with them and their rigidity and no compassion for the situation I was in and the dress was still this years stock. I was also a returning customer having bought my outfit for my sons wedding 3 years ago. I would have liked a bit of honesty regarding the style when I purchased and only got that when I returned but nothing could be done.”
Yes it’s 4 months as all season stock arrives in store from Dec to Feb so pressure to buy early. The dress and shoes and bag are all UNWORN, brand new with tags still on!
and I did contact the store initially mid April but it was just over the 28 days so they wouldn’t do anything even at that early date. They would be able to sell these again no problem and absolutely no customer service. I have gone to another well known traditional MOB and MOG shop and purchased a new outfit and the difference in advice re shape and style to suit me was night and day.

We visited the store today and just want to say a huge thank you to Tanya and the rest of the team for turning our appointment into such a lovely experience. Tanya was very patient and knowledgeable and ultimately helped my mum find the perfect dress for my wedding. There was such a huge variety of outfits to choose from and the whole team were extremely friendly, easy to get along with and a credit to what they do. Thank you so much again for making us feel so welcome and at ease!

I was very hesitant about booking an appointment anywhere, but I am so pleased that I booked only one appointment - at Catherine's of Partick. I had an idea about what I wanted - a red dress for my wedding! Shaleen gave me options, there was no pressure at all - and I walked out 30 mins later with a fabulous dress! I loved it and it felt great on my wedding day. ☺️

Friendly and supportive from walking in the door. Asked the correct questions and understood what I was looking for. Plenty of choices and complimentary remarks.

Shaleen was very helpful. Made me feel very comfortable. I'd like more mirrors. One lady was in front of the mirror a lot of the time so I had to find another. Also more seats, which I know if difficult as it gets busy.

Really helped me out in a hurry when the wrong colour of hat had arrived from another supplier. Was able to come in and buy exactly what I needed. Felt fantastic and totally glamorous at the Royal Garden Party. My Mum also bought a large bright pink hat here for the same day and she loved it too. Thank you so much for making it so easy and fun to find our hats.
