Absolute garbage customer service
Absolute garbage customer service. The piece of equipment was ordered almost two months ago and were told it was shipped two weeks ago. Still have not received the item. Will never spend almost 10K or deal with this company again! Buyers, be aware.... They state it ships in one to two days, do not fall for it!

Good service, great knife. Delivery came through quickly. The Victorinox 8" chefs knife is well worth the investment. This is my second one. Now I have two and that's very beneficial to me.
Good customer service response but..
The website says 4-5days shipping and it’s up to 2 weeks now I haven’t received my package. Contacted customer service several times, they are responsive but nothing done to fast track my delivery. I’m hoping it gets here soon as I need it urgently. Not sure I’ll be purchasing from this source again. This might change when I get my product and it’s worth the wait.
Poor Return Policy
Processing of the order was incredibly slow. When Items were delivered the boxes were damaged. We contacted the company to return the product as they were not as described and were told there would be a 20- 30 % restocking fee as well as we were responsible for the cost associated with the return. Communication was slow with this company and I highly recommend shopping elsewhere.
Lack of Customer Service
Ordered a product that was in stock, was charged on the company credit card and over a month later had still not received the order. Unable to talk to anyone, contact is through email and that is poor at best. Finally received one of the two ordered items and am going through the same challenge of reaching them to correct the issue.

The biggest frustration with this company is the false advertising of something being ready to ship. Do not believe the green check mark. When you order a product that is ready to ship but it doesn't actual ship until 11 days later. So when you see on the website it's in stock and ready to ship but then they send an email 11 days later saying : Unfortunately we did not receive the confirmation of the product being ready to ship until June 5. This is horrible customer service. I would not purchase from you again.
Disappointment
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received regarding a recent freezer order on May 15th. I placed an order for two freezers with the expectation of delivery within 2 business days, as advertised. Shipping method Free Shipping (1-2 days) However, the delivery took significantly longer and was plagued with issues:
* Eight business days after placing the order, I contacted Chef Supplies to inquire about the delivery and was informed that there was no information available, as the items were being shipped from the USA. This international origin was not disclosed at the time of purchase, which contradicts the initial 5-business-day delivery estimate.
* A few days later, I received a call stating that the delivery would occur on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, the day before I urgently needed the freezers for an event. Despite this confirmation, no delivery arrived.
* Upon calling again on Wednesday evening, I was assured that delivery would take place on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, the first day of my event. Again, the delivery did not occur.
* When I contacted Chef Supplies around 4:00 PM on Thursday, I spoke with a rude representative who stated they had no record of my delivery and could not assist me. I was also told I should be satisfied because I was not charged a delivery fee, which is unacceptable given the circumstances. I was then informed that I needed to contact the delivery company directly, a detail that was never communicated to me previously. Attempts to reach the delivery company were unsuccessful.
* On Friday, June 6th, 2025, I received another call stating that the delivery would be scheduled for Monday, June 9th, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. I arranged for two staff members to be present to receive the delivery, incurring unnecessary labor costs due to the missed delivery.
* The freezers were finally delivered on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025. By this time, my event had concluded, and the freezers were no longer needed. I was forced to make alternative arrangements by borrowing equipment from other sources.
Due to the severely delayed and mismanaged delivery, the freezers are now surplus to my requirements. I am incredibly dissatisfied with the lack of communication, the inaccurate delivery timelines, the rude customer service I experienced, and the financial losses incurred as a result of this situation.

Contacted their customer service multiple times and have now been lied to at least 3 times about a refund and shipping my product by a person named Ricky. I thought this was reputable company, but OMG I was wrong! BUYER BEWARE and prey you don’t have an issue with your online order!!!!
Slow start but great finish with this order
I had a slow start this order as one of the items I wanted was on back order. After a few emails we were able to find a suitable substitute blade set that fit the shredder. We haven't used it yet but have attached it to our mixer and run it to see how it went. The housing for the blades is nice and sturdy so I hope that it does the job of shredding tons of cheese for the summer at a children's camp. Thank you for your assistance and the great value that we got for our money.

I recently placed an order with your company, which included an oven and several other items. I would like to bring to your attention a serious issue regarding the 10% coupon I used during the checkout process.
I had attached a valid 10% off coupon, and your website reflected this clearly throughout the entire ordering process — from placing items in the cart to final payment. The shipping was shown as free, and the total price included the 10% discount, which I confirmed before completing the payment.
However, I received a phone call shortly after, informing me that I had to pay for the shipping separately. I was extremely surprised by this, but chose not to argue as I didn’t want it to ruin my day. I paid the delivery fee, but I feel the need to express my disappointment.
Nowhere on your website or in the coupon terms did it state that using the 10% coupon would disqualify me from free shipping. In fact, your website clearly states that orders over $149 qualify for free shipping. This feels misleading and gives the impression that the promotion was used merely as a tactic to attract customers.
If you check my order history, you’ll see that I originally placed an order and then canceled it — simply because I forgot to apply the coupon. Unfortunately, the cancellation process was just as frustrating. I received very delayed responses via email, and when I called, your staff didn’t ask for my name, order details, or what items I was trying to cancel. I didn’t even receive a confirmation number for the cancellation and had to follow up multiple times myself.
Though I assume the refund was processed correctly, it still reflects poor customer service. I didn’t choose your site because it was the cheapest — I chose it because I believed your company to be a trustworthy and reputable business. When I received the 10% coupon, it felt like a good opportunity to make a purchase, but in the end, it feels like I simply wasted my time.
I would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding your service, and I intend to share this experience in detail through reviews on Google and other platforms, along with the lowest possible rating.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously to ensure that future customers do not experience the same frustration. I understand that your team works hard, but based on my personal experience, the service was extremely disappointing.

I had never heard of ChefSupplies before. I wanted to replace a pan I warped (oops!) but was looking for a Canadian retailer to buy from. ChefSupplies came up in my search and I’m glad they did! The pricing was competitive with US chain stores and Amazon, and the delivery time was shorter. My order was even packed using recyclable packaging. I would definitely order from them again.

Horrible experience...received a defective John Boos wood chopping board with a chip in the board. Took over 2 weeks to get this refunded which should take a few days. Had to constantly follow up to ensure they received my return and the process to get the refund.
