Really tired of trying to use their useless website. NOTHING I want to purchase is ever available. Things are always unavailable in stores and can't be ordered online either! Out of 10 items I wanted to purchase not 1 was available in the only store I can visit under a 3 hour drive. Any company can advertise a cheap price but it means zip when you don't have the goods! If CW has some items that are in store only, at least ensure that you DO have the stock!! Boardering on false advertising and it should be stopped.

I wish I had read the reviews before I dealt with this company. I had an experience like most of the other reviews. Online shopping has no back up in favour of the customer. I made 8 calls in total at 20 minutes each time to no avail. Sent an email no reply. It was NZ post that came to the party in the end. Chemist Warehouse sent it, had my money and addressed it so they should have been at least contactable. I ordered on the 9th of March and received on the 23rd. I had to go and buy my foundation elsewhere so no savings there as two days later it turned up with a dangerous goods sign on it because it contained paint and perfume. The paint was a cuticle oil. I won’t be singing there praises or dealing with online ordering again.
Don’t order online…
Unless you can get to an actual store, don’t bother because you will be waiting an undetermined amount of time for your order. I placed an online order over 7 business days ago and they still haven’t dispatched it despite their website saying orders will be dispatched in 1-2 business days and if for any reason there is a delay, they will notify you through email. After day 4 with no update, I sent an email to their “contact us” email and nobody replied to me. 2 days after the email I called the 0800 number where I sat on hold for over 20 minutes. An automated voice eventually answered, told me to call back or email before hanging up on me.
I emailed customer service again more assertively and messaged them on Facebook for them to tell me that my order was waiting to be dispatched. Duh…
When I told them that 7 business days with no communication was not acceptable, they said if it’s taking too long for you, just fill in a form for a refund.
Shocking customer service.
Cheap prices but be prepared to wait
Prices are much cheaper than brick and mortar pharmacies and about the same as pharmacy direct but CW has a lower spend threshold for free delivery. The only issue I have is the lengthy time it takes for an order to be dispatched, even when there's no pandemic- the last was a week.
APPALLING
Filled out online form to request return an unneeded product and got an lengthy email with useless information.
Tried calling them for hours and nobody bothered to answer the phone.
Avoid by all means!

Very cheap prices, 2 days to get here, love the service.
Don't bother
They are in your face with advertising on TV and can be cheaper so thought I'd give them a go as they don't have a physical store in our city. However items take so long to be dispatched you may as well buy direct from China if you want cheap, or pay a bit more if you want stuff dispatched in a few days.
Too many messed up online orders
Products are cheaper, but what's the point if they keep sending out online orders with incorrect items or items missing? Also, items listed on their website are often out of stock when ordered.

they might be cheaper than anywhere else, but that is the only good thing about this shop. Buyers beware for online shopping. If ANYTHING goes wrong with a delivery you can NEVER get in contact with anyone, either facebook, phone, or email, to rectify the situation.
Prompt delivery all considered
Five days to dispatch in the peak of the pandemic, not too bad. One item wasn't available but was promptly refunded, and shipping still free (the refund brought it under the $50 spend).
No customer service
As per other reviews, if you have issues with your order, you are done for as you can't have it fixed as there is no one that answer the emails nor the phone!

Terrible service if you need to call in. None answers the phone. Good luck getting your repeat prescription on time.
Appalling Customer Service wait times
Wrote a complaint three days ago, then followed it up with three phone calls to customer services where on each occasion I waited 30 mins. or more listening to some soft music with nobody answering or telling me that they were busy or what position in the queue I was.
This is a disgrace and should be sorted soon or I will shop elsewhere!

I would NOT recommend buying from Chemist Warehouse, even if the products are cheaper. It's not worth the sheer frustration and humiliating customer service. I had a terrible experience where a click and collect order was cancelled for no reason. The call centre wouldn't help, the store never answered the phone, and when I went into the store they blamed me! I gave them a second chance and ordered a delivery. This time I waited 11 days only to be emailed that 10/11 items were cancelled because "the product(s) you have purchased cannot be sourced due to a supplier issue". I would cry but the tissues I ordered won't be arriving.
