What a disappointing experience! Two windows okay but the third, from a different manufacturer, is an unmitigated disaster - shoddy and cheap-looking.
My issues (sent back with the fitter as photographic evidence on the day it was fitted 3 months ago) have taken me all this time of constant contacting through email to be anywhere near to being ‘resolved’ (although I’m still not fully happy with the window).
If I were buying again I’d definitely be looking elsewhere to spend my hard-earned money. ☹️

Too many problems to list, and this week got notification of a key email I sent in March 2021 being deleted without being read by the MD who was dealing with the situation - just goes to show how much care they take in customer service that he never read it after a whole year and went to effort to ensure I knew.
My advice to anyone looking for windows or doors - AVOID THIS COMPANY.
The interaction with them made me ill, and I have never felt so much stress in my life. I have never met a company so hard to work with and would not recommend you put your trust in this company; as they are highly likely to break that trust without a care.

The fact they have turned off reviews on Google due to numerous customers providing honest feedback tells you all you need to know.

Good Company to deal with. Informative and good updates throughout the installation. Would use again and recommend them.

We were particularly interested in the Internorm product range for environmental reasons and quickly settled on Cherwell as a provider. Our order included the comfort Glide system (motor assisted) as part of our package, and the doors slide open and shut at the touch of a button. Right from the initial contact with the sales team, through the survey and installation process and then into the aftercare they have not failed to deliver. The Cherwell team who managed the installations were great and even when we had to delay the installation of the windows and doors they arranged to have them stored for us. The things that will keep your installation on track are, understand the design period e.g. when it commences and to pay on time. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and we are are extremely happy with the result.

We have used Cherwell twice now and the personal service has been the best.

Really happy with the experience from ordering through to install - all members of staff were friendly, professional & did a great job.

The only issue was a mix up with fitting order, which ultimately affected Cherwell more than ourselves - but credit to the team, they just got on with the job and everything was completed on time.

We have received some great after sales service in the last couple of weeks. 2 urgent repairs needed to our stable door, both times we had a same day repair. Despite the engineer being fully booked we were squeezed in yesterday to fix leaks. Great to have some excellent service

A very positive experience, from start to finish we had a great experience. The team were incredibly helpful working with us to select the right product, they took the time to listen to what we wanted and worked with us to achieve the look. The windows and doors arrived promptly and we were kept informed throughout. The fitters were professional, friendly and did a wonderful job. The doors and windows have totally transformed the look of our house.

Avoid, avoid avoid. Poor quality products, fitting terrible (don't employ fitters its pot luck), awful after sales service. Communication non existent between fitters and office staff. Doors fitted using sellotape, paint came off upvc doors, alu doors installed scratched and touched up with wrong colour and french doors crooked and leaked, they tried to blame our builders. After 2 years, 9 site visits, with 6 different managers and an additional 17 engineer visits they admitted it was their fault and replaced the french doors. One manager told us we couldn't expect to have straight doors . New carpet (£1000) water stained, had to buy new blinds only offered £300 compo. Day before the reinstallation they called to say the french doors opened the wrong way. Another 6 weeks later a new set installed but weather seal broken and took another 3 months to fix. Spent £17k on 2 upcv doors & 7 windows, 2 sliding alu & french doors. As well as replacing french doors, 2 further windows were replaced,2 windows refiited, 1 door rehung and both sliding doors rehung. Still waiting for correctly dated guarantees. Avoid avoid, avoid

We chose Cherwell as they were a local firm and appeared to offer the personal professional service we were looking for. Unfortunately the solid wood front door we chose was not suitable for our south facing property and the grooves would open wider with the heat of the sun. The door has been replaced and we requested a cost comparison against our original top of the range door to check like for like as the new door appears to be a cheaper alternative. Cherwell were unable to provide any evidence and said we just had to accept their word. From the inside the frame supplied for first door is different from the new door, and again Cherwell are unwilling to help suggesting WE could stain the frame to match the new door. Not quite what we expected from this firm.

Just had an internal patio door, external French doors and bathroom window replaced by Cherwell Windows. By no means the cheapest on the market, the quality of the product, and the professionalism of the window fitters makes them a good choice . Our fitters were first class. Competent, clean and polite. A credit to Cherwell Windows. Good choice.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service is appalling. We have had a broken Internorm window/slider for a year and a half with Cherwell claiming that a triple glazed window costing £ 11000 can just break by itself, one year after installation. We have had two Internorm installers saying that it must have happened because of a manufacturing error but Cherwell will not accept this conclusion. Cherwell has changed its explanation twice and has simply proposed that we put it on our home insurance, which is just not acceptable! After spending more than £50 000 with the company, we are shocked by their poor customer service and complete lack of aftercare.

We had 12 windows and a front door fitted. We are thrilled with them, they have transformed the look of the house. The fitters Liam and Rob (and Charlie and Reece on one day) we’re wonderful. They were really polite, hardworking and they worked very tidily, placing dust sheets everywhere and cleaning up afterwards. We have already recommended Cherwell Windows to a friend.

Had a great experience with Cherwell. Found them on Instagram and ordered crittall style doors and windows not long after. Had to wait a while but it was worth it now they've been fitted. It's completely transformed our kitchen and our fitters Robert and Liam were brilliant.

We found Cherwell Windows helpful, knowledgeable and friendly from our visit to the showroom to completion of the installation. They worked with us to get the best option for our requirements and budget. The fitters Kieran and Rudy were lovely and did a fabulous job always cleaning up behind themselves. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cherwell to friends and family.

Really happy with the customer service from the start of the project through to the end. The fitters were brilliant. Very courteous, clean and careful to protect everything.
Will definitely be using Cherwell windows again on future projects.

Was a big job completed in 1 day. Excellent standard of finish.

These are in addition to two doors fitted last year.
After a few months doors needed small adjustments. Was resolved in a few days.
