The Cherwell team were fantastic, super helpful and mindful of accommodating our needs.
After a very covid safe fitting visit we were sent the plans and a few weeks later they were back to install the stunning doors and windows.
Im now looking around to see where else they can work their magic!

What a great team!
Arriving at the showroom first impressions were of plenty of quality product demonstrated with enthusiasm and knowledge. A vast selection of price options and advice.
We are very happy with the results and the communication all along has been excellent.
This all would have been impressive in a normal year but with Covid complicating our lives it was an extra test which was passed admirably.
At every level the team delivered.

Where to start... We chose Cherwell Windows as we have knew of the quality of the Internorm products and wanted to use them as part of our build. The sales process was fine, however, as soon as we signed our order the issues began.

After signing the order we lost all contact with the sales representative, which was even more of a challenge when we found the lead time we had been quoted was based on the design sign off, not order sign-off. This wouldn't have been too much of an issue, but it took Cherwell 3 weeks after us chasing to send an engineer to site to measure the window holes.

This put us to a 13 week lead time... or so we thought. We expected our windows at the end of August after confirmation of the delivery date from Cherwell. Excited and eager to see our most expensive one-off item on our whole build go in we thought we would call Cherwell at the beginning of the week to ensure access and fitment. After we couldn't get through and no one called us back for 3 days we started to feel like something was up. And then we were told a 4 week delay on the windows...only after we chased them the week they were supposed to be delivered.

4 weeks later the fitment team arrived, great we thought at last we can continue our build as we will be water tight at last. But, half way through the day of fitment we heard one of the fitters (there were 5 of them) shouting down the phone at we assumed the office. It then transpired that after 2 previous site visits they hadn't bought the right equipment.

Lucky our builder was onsite with his cherry picker and they managed to use this to lift the 170kg window into place. Unfortunately, with reducing light and a frustrated fitting team the inevitable happened and one of the large pieces of glass was broken.

Now broken glass happens, we get it and the team said they'd get a new piece ordered and left. After work we then decided to have a look around the new windows (3 in total).. and wow, they look great.

It was on closer inspection, that we realised that 1 window hadn't been foamed, was missing a strengthening bar and because of this was 10 cm too short to fit the hole. The second window also hadn't been foamed with a 2 inch gap down one side of the window and the third window, also not foamed, broken (as mentioned) and no caps around the window. We were also missing all the finishing trim and cills.

The next day we entered a back and forth with Cherwell as they were insisting the windows were finished and fitted correctly. Eventually a member of the Cherwell team visited and took note of the issues, we asked for plan of action and timing to rectify the issues so we can plan our build accordingly.

In the mean time a fitter returned to foam the windows, however, they decided not to bother with one of the windows and left. We still have a gap at the top of the window (see pic).

3 weeks after we were told we'd get a plan, we had heard nothing so we started the game of trying to actually speak to someone who knew what was going on. 3 days later and multiple calls we spoke to Cherwell (after us calling them) and have been told the window replacement is on route and will be fitted with the finishing trim on the 9th of December. However, the missing bar will be delivered on the 13th of January (7 Months on from signing our order.)

We have very little confidence that Cherwell will have actually manage to do what they say they will. We have had to push back our plastering, decorating and ultimately moving into our property.

We understand things go wrong, but all we've asked is for is some care and attention to resolve our issues. No call from management, no proactivity to help us, just silence.

It's now mid-November and we've still got a gap in our windows and no plan of action. We're gutted with the whole process and would not recommend using Cherwell as an Internorm or window supplier.

Good customer service - both over the phone and with comprehensive email contact and documentation.
Clear quote at a price we felt was good value for a good quality Inter Norm
product.
Fitters were very personable and worked diligently trhoughout the install. Carpets were well protected with dust sheets and areas spotlessly cleared at the end of each day. They took care to finish off to a high standard and took pride in their work.
Would use certainly use again if the circumstance arose.
We took care to clear our furniture away from the windows and then basically sat back and let them get on with it.

I don't usually write reviews but given how useful I found them when trying to find a window and door supplier felt that I should share my absolutely terrific experience with Cherwell Windows in Banbury. I can honestly say that from the second my wife and I walked into the showroom the service has been nothing short of exceptional. Harry (the salesman) was extremely helpful, took us through everything to make sure that we were completely happy, and knew exactly what we were getting, and stayed in contact throughout the whole process. Chris (the surveyor) came to site and went through all the granular detail on dimensions, position of doors, windows etc to make sure our vision was transferred into reality. Kieran and Jon then came to site to do the fitting about 6 weeks later and not only did an amazing job but were incredibly friendly and took absolute pride in what they were doing. The end result is nothing short of fantastic and both my wife and I are extremely happy and cannot recommend Cherwell Windows highly enough!

Craig was brilliant from start to finish, extremely professional, helpful and reliable. When ever I need to ask a question about anything he was always quick in his response and always went out his way to help me, I had my windows fitted today and they are perfect, exactly what we asked for exactly as they was shown and described to us and the window installer was so lovely, very tidy and efficient.

Would highly recommend and cannot thank you all enough for your service, I cannot wait to change the rest of the windows and use you again.

Your installation Team Graham and Callum are a credit to you as they completed the difficult job in one day and they were what I call Company Ambassadors.

Not only were they both very pleasant guys they were very clean and tidy and made sure they caused as little disruption as possible.

Because of the service we have had we would strongly recommend your Company to others in the future.

When you have time I would like you to visit my home as we may well upgrade our garage doors.

Good job, pleasant to deal with

A good quality door and good Installers.
Because of the corona pandemic our order was delayed somewhat but as soon as the company were able to resume work we were dealt with very efficiently.

Great experience from Cherwell Windows from start to finish, every person we engaged with was fantastic and they were equally responsive post order as they were pre order.

They replaced all the windows in our house and completed the job in 5 days, specifically leaving the last day for snagging and making sure the finish was to our expectations.

In terms of the product we are delighted (Evolution Flush windows) and in terms of fitting, they were fast efficient, high standard, clean, tidy and very respectful of our home as they went about their work.

We recently had windows and a new front door from Cherwell Windows and couldn't be happier with them. The process from quote to fitting was so easy and seamless. All the staff were incredibly helpful and professional, offering expert advise and flexibility. The fitting was excellent, the fitters were very friendly and considerate - tidying up as they went & entertaining the curious children that followed them :) The house feels so much warmer and quieter.

The front door they fitted is faulty and after 6 months i still get told maybe we can look into it but they dont and ive even been told this faulty door "just happens with some of our doors" terrible customer service and the door is worse than my 20 year old it replaced
